Then I make an appointment for two people to get a massage for 10 am, go through a lot of trouble to walk here, and she's not here!!!! I call and she nonchalantly asks me to come at 11 like it's no big deal that she completely didn't show up. Thats really some ridiculous behavior to assume I have nothing else to do. With all the other spas in the city to choose from. Umm sorry-- you want to reschedule after we were already here, on time! What an asshole! Plus my doctor is please that I am reaping the benefits of lymphatic drainage, so it was nice to get her stamp of approval on the roll massage too. I put my health first, so this was a great addition to my wellness plan. I have nicknamed the roll massage: My Personal Trainer's Assistant, because IT IS! I have been in health maintenance now for a little over a year and this is helping me maintain my health at 50, although I still have goals to meet and this is helping me achieve those. Overall I wanted a massage to treat myself to relaxation after a long week but was left recovering from it long after the appointment. Also to note, the payment system is a bit odd, I was only allowed to pay via Venmo and forced to leave a 20% tip when I was already uncomfortable with the service and expressed my disappointment. The massage was very relaxing and I was very confident in her abilities. She uses aromatherapy scents which made the massage very comfortable. She also uses hot stones and a heating pad. Overall, I was very happy with the service I received and am very thankful.
