Owner has 100s of records on display; likely has 1000s more in the back. There were so many records I wanted to buy, that I could have easily dropped my house payment on them. Everything I bought was vintage pressing, but he also had new pressing. Picked up Led Zeppelin ! and !V, Dark Side of the Moon, some Eagles, some AC/DC.... Had records from every genre. The store also sells guitars and guitar accessories. Strings, picks, pedals, most things you could want. Guitars were all nice beginner to intermediate level guitars. Owner also stated that he would be carrying Ibanez soon. He sold a variety of other products that would appeal to someone in the market for vinyl records. Funko Pop, band t-shirts and artwork, stickers, patches, and other various nostalgia items. Owner was super friendly and knowledgeable. It is a great country drive around Oneida Lake to get there. Cannot recommend enough.

I wandered around looking at everything. I was talking to the owner on my way out and one of the vendors was at the desk. I told her I was looking for an oak shelf. The vendor immediately said I have one downstairs. I was so happy because I didn't even know they had a downstairs and he brought me right to the shelf. It was perfect and reasonably priced. Definitely checkout the shop if you're in the area.

I have been buying items from their in person auction for 15+ years. And have spent 10s of…read morethousands of dollars there. Be very wary of their online YouTube auction. I think the real problem is I bought a lawnmower a few weeks ago and it was portrayed as being brand new and ready to go. I got home and I had no mower blade on it. I called to say it didn't have a blade and I was told just bring it back and get your money back. Well I had already spent my day getting cash out of the bank driving my 2500 diesel truck 1/2 hour there with a trailer and loaded it up and drove the 1/2 hour back home unloaded it and tried to mow. And now they expected me to just get my money back. I got there and I was not happy with that response. I was hoping to just take the price of the new blade 50$ off. Talking with Jim and he gave me 100$ off. Okay great redeemed himself. So tonight I was second highest bidder on a tractor trailer box and he had two of them and he said second highest bidder gets it if they want it. Just like he has always said every single time for the last 15+ years I have been buying items from them. He has always offered duplicate items to the second highest bidder at the highest bid price. Then when he heard it was my name he changed the rules of the auction and said no never mind we will auction it off again and they can fight it out. Meaning me and the person that had bid just under my bid. They have gotten very cocky and even went as far as to throw insults at my response to changing the auction process. Then went on and continued to offer duplicate items to the second highest bidder multiple times after the incident. I feel it was personal and very unprofessional and unfair. It was also very disappointing, disrespectful and dishonest.

Davis Equipment Center states that "Customer satisfaction is important to us and we know our…read morebusiness depends on it. We earned our fine reputation the old fashioned way; through honest hard work and treating every customer with prompt and friendly service." I contacted them in May 2021 to have them replace the drive belts on an LTX 1040 Cub Cadet lawn tractor. I was informed that their tech/mechanic will not do the work since it [Paraphrased] "always causes trouble". They refused the job!! So what does one do?? Toss out the machine?? I replaced the belts myself - about an hour labor and two new belts. Simple job - just takes loosening engine (4 bolts) to move the drive pulley away from the forward belt keeper. A few other interference items (main belt keeper), 2 pulley removals, put belt on & replace everything in reverse order. Doesn't take a rocket scientist - just a 70 year old man with a little mechanical experience. Davis Equipment lost a customer on this one!
