I purchased a fireplace for $140. It stopped working the same day. The store won't give me a refund or store credit because they are saying that it's new. Obviously not! They told me to call the manufacturer. I did and there is nothing that they can do. I wasted $140. I am not happy and won't be going back. I have been a customer for a while. read more

I received a loan on a very good and high-quality Hewlett-Packard computer. They were very nice to me the whole time it treated me well and respectfully. I recommend Pun Kehm to anyone who wants vast professional service by kind empathetic and understanding people who care. When it was time for me to retrieve my goods they were so kind to me and gave me back what I had given to them at a fair price. These are the nicest people in the city. If you have to get a loan on something, only go to them don't waste your time going elsewhere. They are the best. They give the best prices. They are the most considerate and empathetic and sympathetic and they really care about their customers a lot. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Just had an awful experience with staff who knowingly parked his grey Ford Escape in the only handicapped spot at that end of the plaza. When I spoke with him directly- in front of other staff who did nothing- he stated it wasn't "really" handicapped because it only had the painted seal on the ground and not the placard. He knows full well this is wrong headed but defended his position and did not move his car. To be told what you are doing is morally wrong and then respond with a shoulder shrug is a pretty crap attitude. These are the folks Pawn King hires. Unfortunately for these staff members crap attitudes are not legally a handicap. I gave this same review on FB and the response was basically "you should take this review down once you calm down because it has nothing to do with our business." So overall a great attitude towards the disabled population from Pawn King- there are lots of us, we ought to take our business elsewhere. read more

The only pawn shop I trust in CNY. Buyback prices are reasonable, and they're willing to work with you if you need more time. There's a reason Royalty Pawn down the street had to move to another city. read more

Went back, and the sales guy said he would have to ask the owner. The owner proceeded to flip out and eventually, begrudgingly agreed to resurface the game. He did not. He went out of his way to be as rough as possible and it appears he intentionally went out of his way to damage it. The game does not work now (prior to being "resurfaced" it would read the game but wouldn't load completely. Just needed a "tune up"). If this is seriously how the OWNER is going to act to his customers, then I feel bad for anyone who ever encounters him in the future, professionally or, god forbid, personally. I can overlook the overpriced items, but I will never set foot again anywhere near this place, and will be recommending to all of my acquaintances to also avoid this maniac at all costs. Seriously, there are tons of pawn shops to go to around, I recommend any others.

this was the worst experience of my life, the employee that works there sucks and has a bad attitude and should be fired and lose some weight while hes at it. they think everyone that walks in the store is a crack head and that they can offer a crack head price or treat them like there a pile of shit. lmao oh btw just so everyone is aware the police raided the west genesee st store last night while i was trying to sell something and closed there store down. hmm maybe cause you are doing illegal things or owe to much money to people. do us all a favor and close your shit whole stores down. ill be sure to spread the word about your police visit last night and ill be sure to tell people to start going to pawn pro or royalty pawn but do not go to pawn king there sketchy low life scumbags read more

I got a living room sofa set from them, 1st delivery didn't happen, I took off from work sat around all day waiting for a call or text, didn't happen. Second attempt, my husband took off, again no calls or text from the driver or the company. Needless to say there were alot of calls made on our part, with a 3rd scheduled delivery, they were 4 1/2 hours late, showed up drunk or on drugs maybe, went 3 doors down to the neighbor's house. I had to go get them. Do they not have a delivery address with the house #? I was baffled. Got inside about to take the plastic off the sofa and there is a huge hole in the middle. I immediately refused the furniture and had them leave. Called American Freight and was told my entire order would be refunded including shipping, which as you might have guessed did not happen! They're frauds, end of story. Take your business elsewhere, I sure did!
