I requested a change to the underlayment, which Jordon indicated was no problem and verbally let me know what the price difference would be but did take a little bit to get the official updated quote. Materials arrived on time and on schedule (tbh, I was worried that they weren't going to be). Work started promptly on time, and while the crew did work full days, they ran over by about a half day (luckily we weren't in any kind of rush). Workers cleaned up daily and pretty thoroughly at completion. While I do wish there was a little more communication regarding updates to the project, I would definitely use this company again.

Skyler came by and looked at my job and gave me a straight forward honest assessment of what condition my roof was in. I originally wanted only the AC roof replaced and while looking at that, he noticed several parts of the roof were almost at the end of life. Although there was probably a year or more still left on the life, I decided to go ahead and get the re-roof done. He was very polite, honest and stated that he could do whatever needed to be done when they get into the job. He quoted me a price that was 2 thousand dollars more than my best estimates, but he stated that he would do whatever needed to be done when started. There turned out to be more rotten wood due to an ac leak a few years ago so there was more plywood needing replacement. He went and got all the extra wood and replaced it without any hassles. The previous roofers would not commit to that and I was told that any additional supplies would be more money. Skyler stayed in touch with me all through the process and communicated whatever issues were found, and once again was all inclusive i the estimate. they also replaced an additional 20 feet of facia boards that were not rotten, but warped, added additional roof tiles that were damaged, and blended the non matching tiles to my roof and left me additional for future in case they are needed. One more thing I especially liked was that the crew were very fast and knowledgeable on the roofing system I have. my wife was upset though that they made a very big mess all around the house with debris and dust and the kitchen was very dirty from the skylight being removed above the kitchen while blowing dust from roof. I would have expected this, but my wife is a clean freak so I don't think was an issue. After the job was done, the area was cleaned, hosed, and all debris was removed and the roof looks great. I would highly recommend them for more work and although they are new and not have many reviews here, I would not be discouraged by that as i said, they did a great job with everything. I waited to post this review until after the rain to see how it would perform. After all the wind and rain, there was not a single issue. All water drained, and the roof performed perfectly.

When they bid the work, I found the price reasonable and inline with market expectations. When Shadrach arrived, he immediately went to work. While here, he highlighted an additional piece. I completely agreed with the additional piece and asked for the work to be done. When I received the invoice, I worked with Steven, the field supervisor, in a very amicable manner. Simply put, they know what they are doing and they are very fair and honest. If I ever need electrical work again, I will certainly call T&K Electric. I must also point out I had to ask T&K to return. After the roofing and the electrical work, summer arrived. My air conditioning did not function. T&K returned as if it was simply expected. Steven conducted the inspection. He reported his findings and said he went as far as an electrician could go. When the HVAC company arrived, the HVAC technician showed me the defective part and stated clearly why the part failed. Meaning the issue was solely a result of HVAC normal wear and tear. I found working with T&K Electrical very comforting. Even when the issue didn't involve them, they were very willing to investigate. I called and talked to Charlie he was out the next day and inspected the roof with a drone to play it safe. He also checked things out from the ground. He found some areas of concern in addition. He got me a quote within a day which included a complete roof including back porch. The quote was so good we said yez the same day. Besides the entire remove and replacing all the shingles they also replaced some wood on the back porch that was rotted including one post and some of the eaves. They less than a week later and ended up coming a day early and finished the day before a monsoon. I have gotten several positive comments from neighbors.
