She was rude to several guests, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Most of our party parked in the overflow parking lot, which is clearly marked with multiple signs. However, during the event, the employee walked over and padlocked both gates, preventing anyone from accessing their vehicles. We were told to reach out when we were ready to leave so she could unlock the gates. When the party ended, I texted her as instructed, but she refused to open the gates. She claimed no such arrangement had been made and told us we would have to walk all the way to the front entrance and then back to our vehicles, instead of simply unlocking the gates. This situation was frustrating and unnecessary, especially after being given different instructions earlier. While the location itself is nice, the lack of professionalism and poor communication significantly impacted our overall experience.

When I reached out about a partial refund and offered to return the roosters, this is the response I got: No, actually, that only means it's not 100% accurate. Our policy is listed on our website. We do not guarantee, refund, return, swap, or exchange. This is an extremely standard policy across the board for any Hatchery or place of business that sells chicks. If you have a rooster you can give it away for free on Craigslist. Next time go ahead and shop at tractor supply. Buy your chicks from there and when you get a rooster try to call them and make them take it back and see what happens. I walked in wondering what I'd order, not even knowing what they serve. After seeing a few plates of biscuits and gravy and speaking to the ladies that were enjoying it, my decision was made easy. I make biscuits and gravy and mine is my judge on the worthiness. This was pretty darn good. And I'm typically disappointed when I do try it. Biscuits were large. Gravy was nice and chunky and not too salty as most seem to be. I ordered a side of country taters. Also tasty. So tasty that when I went to order a coffee a blackbird decided to swipe a few. The pastry case called me too. I got a Blueberry muffin and a Cherry Turnover. Both fantastic, although when I got home I wondered what I ordered because it was $16. For two pastries? Nah.
