I bought three female chicks, two of which turned out to be roosters. The website indicates they sex the chickens with 90% accuracy, but were significantly less accurate with ours. When I reached out about a partial refund and offered to return the roosters, this is the response I got: No, actually, that only means it's not 100% accurate. Our policy is listed on our website. We do not guarantee, refund, return, swap, or exchange. This is an extremely standard policy across the board for any Hatchery or place of business that sells chicks. If you have a rooster you can give it away for free on Craigslist. Next time go ahead and shop at tractor supply. Buy your chicks from there and when you get a rooster try to call them and make them take it back and see what happens. They sold us silkie mixes without telling us. We paid for full bred silkies and it was in fact NOT a silkie. It was a silkie mix Go elsewhere if you wish to get full bred silkies. Edit: There is no need to be rude. I just wish you would specify that you're selling "satin" silkies instead of full bred silkies in case people want to show them in shows as they do not qualify. Like I said we paid for a silkie NOT a satin. I'm just trying to prevent people from going through the same thing. read more

Such a great place to go to and just hang for the day! Been back to back for two days and absolutely just enjoyed both days. My son absolutely loves animals and just loved his day here and the kiddos! So welcoming and had fun with the boys chasing the ducks! We've always loved this place, my daughter has been to several birthday parties here and has been begging to have hers at this venue. So I reached out early to book, super excited to make it happen. The website advertised a 4-hour birthday party for $250, which was perfect for our budget. But when I contacted the owner, I was told they no longer offer the 4-hour option on weekends due to weddings. That was disappointing, especially since every party we've attended here has been on a weekend. Instead, I was told we'd need to book a 6-hour party for $600, more than double the cost and much longer than what we need for a kids' birthday. None of this was mentioned on the website, and I even found another listing for a 6-hour bridal/baby shower package with the same amenities for $450 on their site. I kindly asked if they could honor that pricing or work something out, but after a couple messages, I received no response. Since then, those price listings have been removed from her website. I still think this is a beautiful venue and would recommend it to others. But my experience with the lack of communication and not honoring what was listed online left me disappointed. I hate to leave this kind of review, especially for a small business but wanted to make mention in the event it's another issue for someone else. read more

We had a barn-tastic time at azsilkies, hanging out with adorable pigs, goats, horses, cows, and a charming miniature horse who clearly thought it was the queen of the farm. The real stars, though, were the wacky chicken breeds - who knew chickens came in so many funky flavors? Petting zoos don't get much better than this - azsilkies is a must-visit for some serious animal cuddles and laughs. read more

All the chicks are so friendly and well cared for. All my chicks are friendly and quite a few are super cuddlers. There are many breed varieties and color selections to choose from, especially the rare breeds! I'm a repeat customer and currently have 12 chickens (and counting) from AZ Silkies & Seramas. They're very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions or concerns at any time. I highly recommend this establishment for adding chicks to your existing flock, or if you just want to start your own brand new backyard chicken family! read more
