Although the farm is small and has its charm, our experience at a recent birthday party was unfortunately overshadowed by the behavior of a staff member who claimed to be the owner. She was rude to several guests, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Most of our party parked in the overflow parking lot, which is clearly marked with multiple signs. However, during the event, the employee walked over and padlocked both gates, preventing anyone from accessing their vehicles. We were told to reach out when we were ready to leave so she could unlock the gates. When the party ended, I texted her as instructed, but she refused to open the gates. She claimed no such arrangement had been made and told us we would have to walk all the way to the front entrance and then back to our vehicles, instead of simply unlocking the gates. This situation was frustrating and unnecessary, especially after being given different instructions earlier. While the location itself is nice, the lack of professionalism and poor communication significantly impacted our overall experience. read more

I've been to several pumpkin patch experiences in the area now, and I'm convinced this one is the best value for your money. Highlights include: feeding the rescue animals, getting a pumpkin to take home included in admission, and browsing the unique gift shop. I also liked that we didn't have to buy tickets in advance, even on a weekend, and there's more shade when it's still toasty in October. The only thing they're missing is a corn maze. I highly recommend checking this place out, whether you have little ones or you're just looking for an autumnal date or photo op. We went for the pumpkin patch. I was very impressed with number of animals we could pet/feed, the delicious fresh donuts and the sheer number of pumpkins! I'd add another bouncy house for the public (there are a couple in the private event areas that were not being used). A couple areas fell flat (toddler maze, climbing web and others were hits (hill slide). A few more photo opportunities would be nice too. Loved the ones they did have. When my daughter said she wanted to take my grandson here when I came to visit, my first thought was wow, this place is pricy for a pumpkin patch. Once you arrive then you can understand the $17 entrance fee. They have everything from pumpkin filled areas to take photos, hayrides, bouncy houses, animals to pet and feed, pedal cars and so much more. There are shaded areas if you need to get out of the sun and benches to sit on throughout the park. Small selection of snacks to purchase and a gift shop filled will cool Halloween/fall season items. They offer buckets of carrots to feed the animals for five bucks and duck feed in a cone for 3 for $5. There is so much to do here that we didn't get a chance to do everything in the 2 hours we were there. The pedal cars were fun but needed some maintenance on many of them but we still had fun. This is a wonderful part of our community. Great petting farm for kids and seniors with dementia. I took my mom who had Alzheimers disease and she got to hold a baby goat. They have a cute gift shop and nice stuff to buy. They also get food and give it out free to the community. They also have lovely Christmas tree trees at Christmas time for good prices. I wasn't sure where to go for picking a pumpkin. I wanted a place that had some other fall activities for my little guy and maybe some farm animals to see too. This place had it all! The entrance fee was $15 for each of us. For that price (proceeds go towards helping care for the rescue animals on the farm), we were each able to pick out a small pumpkin from the patch, there was a hay maze, and a tractor ride around the farm. My toddler was delighted to see the goats, ducks, donkeys, and lots of other animals. We paid $5 for a small bucket of carrots and he loved feeding the carrots to the goats. My sister found this place online and thought the kids would enjoy themselves here. There are a lot of activities for the family, more designed for the younger children. There is a tracker hay ride the whole family can do. Bounce houses, spider web climb, photo ops locations, and animals to feed. While you can use credit card to pay the entrance fee everything else inside the farm has to be paid in cash. There are plenty of activities for them to do however the large slide does cost a fee. There is a conession stand to help bet the heat with waters, slushies and more. All the animals on the farm are rescue animals. With each entry you received a pumpkin that you get to pick. read more

We came with a group for a hosted event. Turning in and parking is challenging to say the least. The entrances are not properly labeled, you walk up to the first entrance and are told no keep going, then walk in and wait to be acknowledged, as we don't know where to check in. Staff are less than friendly, more so barking things, this isn't an exit, keep your kids close near the cars, turn in your stickers. There are long lines at the food stands. Was the first time there and it was for a school field trip. It started out a little disorganized but they ended up pulling everything together, which was nice. I'm assuming they've been there for a while, but the city built houses around it. It's nestled right in the middle of a neighborhood off the major road. My son was able to feed the goats and loved it. He went on a hay ride and got to take a pumpkin home. He wants to go back to see the animals again. He loved the emo. It's a little drive for me, but we could turn it into a day trip to Mesa since Amazing Jakes is right up the street. We came on a Saturday around 4pm. The parking was pretty packed when we got there. It's $15 pp for entrance which is a bit steep but it does include a lot of things such as hayride, jumping houses, kids maze, animal watchings, small pumpkin, and some other random activities throughout the farm. It's not the most aesthetic patch I've been to, though they have a few places for photo ops. Be sure to sit on the inside of the hayride car or you'd be like us and all we saw was growing hay and residential houses. The animals are all pretty spread out through out the farm and you can pay to buy food to feed the animals. Do know that besides the entrance fee, everything else in the farm is cash only! This was our second trip to Mother Nature's Farm. We were here a few years ago and had a really good time. Less so this visit but I'll start with the good. We found parking quickly and entered through the "boutique." Tickets are $12 for everyone over one and include a free pumpkin. Once you're in, there are lots of places for photo ops, a snack booth where you can buy treats for you and the animals (carrots 4 for $1, cash only), a variety of gentle and friendly animals (cows, alpaca, horses, donkeys, horses, ponies, goats, sheep) to feed treats and pet, a hay ride, multiple bounce houses, a low straw maze, playhouses, climbing structures, shaded picnic areas, and a slide. Some tips: -sunscreen -bring your own carrots for the animals -bring cash for the snack booth or your own food -bring coins or singles for goat food -early on weekdays are less crowded Okay, now for the bad. I do feel like $12 is a little pricey for what we got this year. My kids were over it after about an hour. While the pumpkins we got last time we're on the small side, they were big enough to carve and there was a sticker pack to decorate them. This year they were more decorative gourd sized--way too little to carve. There were larger pumpkins available for purchase. This place is marketed as a farm for very young kids, but there is very little for very young kids to do. There was a corn pit for the kids to play in, which was a cool sensory experience. The problem is that kids that are 8-12 years old were lying in it and throwing corn. When I asked them to stop, they continued and there were no parents around. There were no employees around either. It doesn't make it a very pleasant experience for a young child when they are getting stepped on and having corn thrown in their eyes. This was the first and last time we will be coming here. ETA: You have to exit through the "boutique" with young kids and there are signs saying that if your kids breaks something, you buy it. Why on earth would you tempt fate and ask young kids to walk through a shop with breakables? Also, there is not a safe place to walk through the parking lot with kids. read more

Hi, just went to visit Mother Nature's Farm over the weekend and we took along our granddaughter. We had been here many years ago and found that they have expanded quite a bit. Many activities to do for every visitor, bounce houses, maze, many different types of animals! One thing I wanted to point out and provide feedback on was the area where the turtles are kept. There is a great need for shade protection from the sun. I noticed that the turtles are all lined up on the south side of the basin trying to stay out of the sun. Wanting to feel some autumn vibes despite the still-summery weather, my gal pal and I grabbed the DSLR and headed over to Mother Nature's Farm to see the pumpkin patch! We came on a Tuesday which they promote as "Food Drive for Hunger." Five cans of food gets you $5 off your admission. So what is usually $10 for adults is $5 and you get to choose a cute pumpkin to take home so long as you bring five cans of food! Some of the other attractions are a well-stocked gift shop, a free hay ride with admission, and a petting zoo (you can buy carrots for $1 to feed the livestock). They also have an area where you can purchase bigger pumpkins and other seasonal squashes. It's a relatively small farm so if you can wait for a Tuesday, you'll get the best deal. When I heard about Mother Natures Farm I was super excited to check it out! However after seeing the reviews here I was skeptical and wasn't sure what to expect. I went today with my kids and we had a fantastic time and had a great experience. So here is my thoughts and a few tips for your visit. The gift shop was great! Tons of cool gifts and goodies for the holidays. The concession stand was fantastic with great prices. Juice for kids for $1, water was $1, soda 1.50, ring pops 50 cents. Very reasonable considering so many places gouge you. They had tons of picnic tables amongst tall trees that was a very peaceful spot to take a break. There was multiple bouncy houses throughout the farm, cool slides down the hill, a beautiful sunflower field, awesome human hamster wheels, a mini hay bale maze, lots of giant yard games and a huge grassy field, tons of pedal cars on a huge track, and my fav the animals. The fences had easy access to pet the animals. There are cows, donkeys, chickens, goats, sheep, a horse, pigs and tortoises. The hayride was nice so you can see the whole farm. I saw on previous reviews lots of complaints about the staff and them being rude about the free pumpkins and poor treatment of disabled people and those with service animals, also people concerned about treatment and well being of animals. We came in contact with about 15 different staff members and all were warm and friendly. I agree that a $15 entry fee for 1 yr and up is a bit ridiculous however i understand that it's expensive to run a farm. If it was my farm I would say 2 and under are free and 5 and under are $5. There was an elderly man with his mother in a wheelchair in line in front me and they were treated well by staff. Also I saw a group of handicap kids that seem to of been having a great time with the animals. While waiting for the tractor ride I noticed an employee high fiving a neurodivergent child who had just got off the tractor ride. As far as the animals, they all seemed happy, comfortable and well taken care of. As a 25 yr vegan this is something I take to heart. We also had no issues when we chose are pumpkins to take home and left. Also, no issues with dust and the farm was exceptionally clean. I also loved that there are lots of sinks with well stocked soap and paper towels. Although we didn't have to use the porta potties they appeared to be very clean and well maintained. Now for the tips.... 1. Hold on to your kids on the tractor ride, it gets bumpy. 2. Bring sunscreen 3. Bring your own lunch if you'd like however there are lots of offerings at the concession 4. A bucket of carrots (about 10) is $5, my kids went through 4! I highly recommend bringing carrots. A huge Costco bag is $4. Then donate a what you can to the sanctuary to help care for the animals. Remember that this is a family farm on their homestead private property. They are inviting people in to their farm and as I'm sure you know sometimes people are rude and take advantage. After working in finer dining for 12 years I've definitely seen some unbelievable examples of entitlement. As far as the service animals for every person who genuinely needs one there is many others who don't and claim there's are. I don't blame the owners for having their own policy. They make it clear in their website and they also have to protect their animals and the patrons. If I saw anyone being rude to a disabled person I would be the first to stick up for them and put that establishment in yelp blast however I'm happy to say I didn't see anything like that, and as stated above I saw the exact opposite. Also, as far as the cost, running a farm, especially one open to the public with so many activities is extremely expensive so they get to charge what works for them. Went today Sunday morning (10/21), and they had ZERO pumpkins! How does a "pumpkin patch" have no pumpkins? For the price, there is very little to do and they also now charge an extra $5 to go down a "big" slide. Extremely Disappointed. Save your money and go to any other pumpkin patch! The owners should put on their website that they don't have pumpkins. It would have been a nice heads up. My 2 1/2 year old kept asking to see the pumpkin patch. read more

What a cute way to spend a few hours! It's perfect if you have kids under five. What's cool is that they have reserved spaces with bounce houses if you want to have a private event. I went for a special event that had outside catering (cool that they allow that!) and hired photographers, so they could take your family photo with all the pumpkins or hay if you wanted. Every ticket gets you one free pumpkin to take home. They also have animals to pet, and carrots for sale for feed. It's a huge space and there is a gift shop as well, in addition to port-a-potties and shaded areas for you to sit down. There's not much to it if you're an adult, but I'm sure it's an absolute Disneyland if you're a toddler! Only thing about it is that it is severely overcrowded. As soon as I parked, I felt like I was at a concert. So it took away a bit from the experience, but still a sweet few hours! read more

Nice Little Spot To Bring Kids To See Animals This is a nice little spot to bring your kids to look at the desert tortoises, goats, ducks, donkeys and some other animals like chickens running around. You can pick out one of the smaller pumpkins with your $10 admission per person. There are some little mock up wild West buildings in an enclosure for kids to play in. A ranch style slide going down a big hill in the back the kids like. There is a rope and net climbing platform for kids to play on and some cut outs to take pictures in. Also couple of spots set up for pictures next to the corn and next to the pumpkins all over the ground. We also have a tractor wagon a ride that you can do which we didn't since our little boy was only two months old and probably not ready for that this year. LOL We didn't really look around in the store much so I can't comment on much there other than it is nicely laid out and packed with all kinds of items. All in all some of the people that have lower ratings for this place are probably being a little unfair to the business. For paying 10 bucks and getting a pumpkin as well being able to have the kids run around and play and look at things it's a fair deal and a cool experience for the kids. I have been to many farms but this was the first one which I visited for the pumpkin patch. When we reached the location we were expecting more of a farm atmosphere but this was more of a field with festival. It was pretty crowded and kids were charged $10 who got free pumpkin and adults $5 for the entry. There were hayrides, farm animals for the kids entertainment. I loved the pumpkins for sale set up better than the patch itself. There were lot of sizes and the set up was very cute for photo sessions too. Overall an okay place, we were there for about 1 hour and we left. May be the kids would enjoy better there but for us it was just an okay visit. read more

This place was pretty cute if you're going with children. Not really too many activities but the tickets are decently priced compared to other farms/pumpkin patches. It was $10 per adult ticket. Some of the activities include a big slide, a hayride, and petting some animals with the option to feed them for only $1. All the activities are included in the entrance fee but bring CASH if you want to buy snacks, shop in the little boutique, or buy a large pumpkin. If you don't want to buy a pumpkin you are able to pick out a small one (as pictured) for no additional fee. I had an opposite experience of the staff than most on the recent reviews. I thought that staff was friendly. The greeter was super nice and friendly. $12.00 bucks to get in per person. Okay. I can handle that for a family of 4. Comes with a free small pumpkin. I do not believe there are too many activities there for the kids. There is a slide that is not that slippery and the kids need to push themselves down, possible a bounce house if not rented for a party, animals to see and possibly say hi to (I would say that's the highlight) Here comes the bad.... 1. Face painting is great, but the line was super long. Only one (1) person doing the painting. There needs to be more staff, the only thing kids want is a face painting once they see it and parents don't want to stand in line for an hour. I'd rather there not be face painting than have to tell the kiddo they have to wait an hour or possibly pass and have to an upset child for the next hour. We chose the bribing route and offered other treats on the way home instead of the face painting. 2. WAY OVERPRICED PUMPKINS. Its $45 for a large pumpkin two days before Halloween. Then today, they are $5.00 bucks (Day of Halloween). Have some customer service guys..... and offer discounts the closer it gets. Now I'm jaded from ever returning because I refuse to ever pay that much again. I'll get the Costco or Frys version ahead of time so there is not a need to buy the $45 pumpkin. We usually come here around Halloween but we saw that they were open today and went to check it out. The lady at the register was so sweet and funny, we enjoyed feeding all the animals and walking around. It wasn't very crowded today so it was like we had the farm to ourselves. The animals were sweet and really fun, you could feed them carrots for $5 a bucket. All in all we look forward to coming here more often during the year.
