She was rude to several guests, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Most of our party parked in the overflow parking lot, which is clearly marked with multiple signs. However, during the event, the employee walked over and padlocked both gates, preventing anyone from accessing their vehicles. We were told to reach out when we were ready to leave so she could unlock the gates. When the party ended, I texted her as instructed, but she refused to open the gates. She claimed no such arrangement had been made and told us we would have to walk all the way to the front entrance and then back to our vehicles, instead of simply unlocking the gates. This situation was frustrating and unnecessary, especially after being given different instructions earlier. While the location itself is nice, the lack of professionalism and poor communication significantly impacted our overall experience.

The farm was easy to find and had clear signage to follow for parking. I walked around the grounds a bit and enjoyed the flowers. The salvia especially stood out as looking so healthy! And of course, the lavender - a plant I always struggle with! I stopped in the shop and picked up some lavender goodies including a blueberry lavender drink and a lavender sugar cookie. The drink is light and subtle. I appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet. Its also not carbonated. They had other flavors as well. The cookie is SO GOOD. Next time I'm getting 2! The shop is cute and has a lot to look at, and the woman working was friendly and helpful. There are water features and lots of seating areas around. I took my drink and cookie to a seating area and just enjoyed the scenery. I asked one of the staff members -- all really friendly and welcoming! - and yes you could bring a sandwich and enjoy it here. Make a whole meal and get a cookie! They do tours of the mansion, which looks quite impressive and I look forward to learning about its history. There are also soap and candle classes and various seasonal events. I'll definitely keep a watch on the calendar!

They have a variety of paid events too like making soap, tours, and tea parties if you wanted to do more than just walk around. It's a hit or miss with the weather, you might get 70° and you might get 100° but that's just the look of the draw and the season. Pro tips: arrive early to avoid crazy traffic, bring an umbrella for some sunshade, you can bring one sealed bottle of water per person, and wear shoes that you're not afraid to get dusty. There's plenty of food & drinks for purchase (cash only), lots of shops with great trinkets & garb, tons of shows like the main joust and fire whip, a petting zoo area and lots of walking. It's fun for all ages! Don't be afraid to dress up & live your full on fantasy.

It includes entry and all the shows. Food, souvenirs, and any extra entertainment, like the carnival games, are extra, but honestly, also reasonably priced. We arrived about 1/2 hour prior to when the festival opened, on opening weekend, and there was a pretty long line already formed, so definitely get there early if you're wanting to get in right at open. Parking was extremely well organized; the line to get in, not as much, but they were pretty efficient in getting people in. The shows we went to were entertaining. Most of them have multiple show times; the festival map and show schedule is posted on their website well in advance, so you can plan ahead. I'm terrible at directions as it is, but I did find the map a little challenging to follow so I was mostly just walking around until I found what I wanted. With that being said, I'd recommend giving yourself a good amount of time to get to where you're going, because sometimes it is a bit of a walk. Also, the shows get busy, so if you want to sit, you'll want to arrive early. I like checking out the juggling show, London Broil, and the Tournament of Kings. Food isn't my favorite but they have choices from the big turkey leg to bangers & mash, but also fried rice and tandoori chicken. Definitely check this one out!

Came here for a private event where there were claw machines along each side of the two walls and an instagram worthy wall of cute stuffies! They had a few small machines of small goodies and then one huge machine for the huge claw goers and the rest were just right sizes. Many of the stuffies were cute- not just okay but cute! It's $1 per token where you buy in increments of 1,5,10,20,etc. You can even trade your smaller stuffies for a bigger one depending on how many you have to trade. The place was clean and owners were super nice and friendly. This is worth coming back for some fun!
