What I really loved about this experience is that in three weeks, my mom and I get to come back and paint our pieces! You get to choose your color from a list and note it when you register on their website. It was $85 before tax and came with 5 skeins of yarn, with the option to add more (I think for an additional $15). I also put in the notes on my registration the names of my friends so that we could sit together. The workshop was at 6pm on a Friday and lasted about two hours. There was my group of three and three others, plus the owner/instructor Lauren. Her instructions were easy to follow, and she would jump in if we needed help. I made a few errors, and she was able to fix them for me. I ended up making my loops too loose on the outside and too tight on the inside, so my blanket came out a bit small. But I think it was decent for my first attempt. It's so soft. I keep it on my couch to use as a lap blanket. We all had a great time and would definitely come back to try other workshops. My coworker had tried one of the resin workshops and really liked it too.

I have been eating at nearby Joe's Farm Grill for years and have not made the time to walk over here. You can't miss Barnone because they are housed in a Quonset hut made of steel. Inside of Barnone is a salon, machinist, printmaker and other services. They had an evening artisan fair going on when I stopped in. I love seeing other people's creativity and was impressed by the products that were being showcased by many of the artists. Barnone also has a few restaurants. Fire & Brimstone, 12 West Brewing, Garage-East and Uprooted Kitchen are just some of the places to grab a bite or drink. It is really cool to see how much this area has grown and expanded over the years. I still enjoy getting a coffee at The Coffee Shop and going for a walk at Agritopia Farm. Coming over here to Barnone, having a meal and then checking out some art made for a nice evening out. I am looking forward to making future visits here.

WE had a BLAST Paul our instructor was great and explained step by step during the whole process and answered questions along the way, the finished product was Amazing we are planning on attending some of the other classes as they do a variety of others. FYI we used one secret ingredient that I'm not going to say but Wow, so go sign up for a class and sure you'll have just as much fun as we did this morning. They also have date night classes for couples that would be fun to do.

We made chicken piccata and when I say the experience was world class I truly mean it. There were 10 people in our class and it really gave us an intimate feel.
