This has became a little Christmas tradition! This is our second year going and it's been amazing each time. This year the s'mores were not very delightful but that's okay. If I can recommend anything it would be to get the tickets online and save the few extra dollars for snacks or whatever else. We will be back next year!!

He's friendly, hilarious, and knows more about bees than Google. Ask him anything--just be ready to laugh and learn. The stand is outdoors with plenty of fresh air and ample parking--so you can roll up stress-free and leave with a trunk full of sweet goodness. The rustic, open-air vibe just adds to the magic. The ambiance? It's part of the charm and makes the whole experience feel like a sweet little escape from the city buzz. They've got flavors like Wildflower, Orange, Cactus, Mesquite, Cat's Claw, Clover... and then there's Suicide Honey--my absolute fave. Bold name, bolder flavor. It's golden, smooth, and wildly delicious. The only honey I eat or recommend. Yes, it's pricier than the grocery store squeeze bottle--but it's worth every penny. You're getting handcrafted, local, liquid gold. They also sell pollen, queen bees (yep, royalty), and offer beekeeping classes if you're ready to join the hive. Bottom line? This place is the bee's knees. Buzz over and treat yourself.

The whole experience is quite entertaining, from before you step in and can hear the peacocks vocalizing to when you leave and get a brief chance to interact with other large animals. The drive over there is through some unpaved roads, so I would recommend taking the drive in something that isn't a sedan if at all possible. It is possible given that I saw other smaller cars on the roads over, but I can't imagine it's fun or great for your vehicle. To be truly prepared for the amount of dust and grime that is on your car after the drive alone, I would allot time for a car wash after everything is said and done. I will caveat that the price point is steep for an encounter that ended up being under thirty minutes, so I saved this for a special occasion. Regardless, if this is within your budget, you are pretty much guaranteed a good time.

Our tour guide was one of the owners I believe, and you can tell she really cares for each and every animal here at the farm. There are capybaras, emus, tortoises, Patagonian maras, porcupines, warthogs, and many goats just to name a few! They all are pretty friendly so it was a cool experience to pet and give food to each animal. It was an educational tour as well since our guide had a lot of information about each animal to tell us. We went on a locals day where child admission was free with an adult ticket. Check their website for other days if you are a local. There was another day where they were bringing in a fennec fox which would be another awesome experience. The farm is a bit out of the ways if you are traveling from the Phoenix area so be sure to leave enough travel time to get there before your tour. It took us about 90 minutes driving to get there. There's not much around the farm either so be prepared. There's a small gift store near the entrance which sells all sorts of capybara laser cut wood items, water bottles and stickers. Prices at the gift store were reasonable and who can't resist a coaster that says Capyboba or a wooden snack board that says Snackybara?

We started with Bambox when they were based in Old Town Scottsdale. Bambox has the best selections of microgreens salads. They are fresh and very tasty. Lately the customer service is nonexistent. The phone line is now out of service. No one is staffing the front desk anymore so I'm unable to stop and pick up my salads. I have a paid subscription, so funds are being taken from my account and I'm receiving..... nothing. The Contact person, Nathan, has not bothered to return any text messages lately. Bambox started out very strong and reliably consistent. I've wasted, time, Gas, and patience lately. Bambox charges for a Service it no longer provides to me. The "interns" work for free and I think that's the main issue. Bambox should actually Pay the workers so that there is some incentive to be responsible to provide its products to its PAYING CONSUMERS. I would hope that the management of BAMBOX reads this review and decide to rectify this problem. Marianne and I have been buying salads from BAMBOX for over a year, almost two. Marianne had Cancer and wanted the purest of foods. We found that with BAMBOX. Marianne died from her Cancers on June 2,2019. I've maintained the subscription because I've enjoyed the product. It's too bad that BAMBOX no longer wants to have any accountability for providing Customers, especially longterm Customers, with the product. Nathan has my contact info. - Tony Winters
