From the moment we contacted Shari about the sale of our property, she was incredible, communicating, coordinating, and ultimately, completing the sale with better care than most people would give their ohana! Being in the military, my wife and I were stationed out of state. When we decided to sell our condo we reached out to Shari immediately, since she helped us purchase eight years ago. She immediately began coordination with the property manager, community manager, and tenant - all while keeping us continuously informed despite the six hour time difference. She worked with the existing tenant to expedite repairs and prepare the home for listing. Some of the repairs even required coordination with an adjacent neighbor, whom Shari personally contacted and worked to get us reimbursed. When our property management company was holding up parts of the process, Shari was our "man on the ground" that worked with them directly to keep things moving. When the property was listed, Shari kept us apprised of the interest and participation at the open houses. When the sale wasn't immediate and my wife and I started debating whether to lower the price, Shari recommended that we stay the course for a little longer, and sure enough, the next day we received a full price offer! During the contract process, Shari continued to keep us informed and guide us through the many steps and organizations involved. As a side note, the contracting process is almost as daunting as the sale itself. As a seller, especially a first time seller, you worry about what will come up in the inspection, if you missed anything in the forms, try to figure out which organization does what, and what is really important. Having a knowledgeable, accessible, and preemptive guide is incredibly helpful for easing the process and reducing the stress. Shari was that person for us every step of the way.
