I will start by saying that I was very reluctant to purchase in this incredibly outrageous housing market in the summer of 2022. With that in mind I entered discussions with Patrick very defensive as I had to keep the best interest of my family and I as I was completely dumbfounded by the price of homes in Hawaii. Back story is my family and I moved here from El Paso, Texas and we had saved in preparation for the move and subsequent investment. Expecting that our savings would help us in the negations and in the affordability aspect of making the big investment. Unfortunately, Hawaii is a completely different market and I was visibly cautious about the purchase. I met Patrick back in 2016. He helped us purchase our first beautiful home in Ewa Beach. From the moment we met him he went to work and helped us buy our very first home. It was our dream home. A formidable experience. I can't speak highly enough of my experience with Patrick Lum, the level of professionalism and diligence surpasses expectations. I was a first-time homebuyer with very little knowledge about how to find the right place. I met with Patrick and knew instantly that he was the one for this process, as knowledge was evident during initial interactions. Patrick Lum is literally the best agent I could have hoped for. I contacted him in January of 2020, buying our house in August 2020, and closed in October. Because of being military and things with COVID, I did not no know when I would be on island until about 2 weeks out. Patrick made my home selling process smoother than haupia on a hot Hawaiian day!! I would give him 6 stars if I could. Before I even started this process i was full of worry.
