As a first-time homebuyer, I couldn't have asked for a better experience than working with Tony Kawaguchi and Valentina Haberman. From the very beginning, they went above and beyond with truly first-class, personal service. They answered every one of my questions with patience and care, making what could have been an overwhelming process feel comfortable and exciting. Thanks to their deep knowledge of Hawaii and their commitment to understanding exactly what I was looking for, they helped me find my perfect dream home in beautiful Kailua. I honestly can't sing their praises enough -- Tony and his amazing team were with me every step of the way, making sure no detail was overlooked. If you are looking for a home in Hawaii, I highly, highly recommend Tony Kawaguchi and his team. Their dedication, expertise, and genuine care set them apart. We highly recommend Tony, who helped us buy a house in Kailua. He spent a lot of time listening to what we were looking for in a home. He's quick to respond to any questions or concerns. He's honest about the good and the bad when looking at homes. He's very knowledgeable about the market and what one can expect. We highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy a place on the island! read more

A very helpful team that helped us sale our house. They are great and I will. Recommended them to any friend I have in Oahu.

Tony helped a tremendous help in buying a 2nd home in Ewa Beach. He went way above and beyond to get the deal done! With higher interest rates we thought we were priced out, but Tony was patient...ant then once we found our target, he was creative, relentless, and tenacious in keeping the the deal alive. This is the 2nd home we used Tony; both times he was extremely helpful and stuck with us. My wife and I are not always easy people; we are never in a hurry; we are not emotional buyers; and we are going to get a deal. Tony come highly recommended from us! read more

My experience with the Kawaguchi group was pleasant from start to finish and even until now after close. Kaleo, our agent, was able to promptly bombard us with resources needed at every step of the process. His friendly competent demeanor made us feel comfortable from the jump. He was able to connect us with the Kawaguchi team. Every email, text, phone call, voicemail, concern was addressed promptly and professionally by everyone involved. They were always straight, not pushy, presented us with realistic facts, were transparent and really did have our wishes in their best interest. I hope we can continue this relationship as I will be definitely recommending the people to this group in the future. Thank you all so much for helping make dreams come true! read more

I highly recommend Ryan Adams to serve as your realtor without any reservation! Ryan...was very knowledgeable of the market, extremely accessible, and ensured I got the most for my money. Ryan was fully transparent throughout the process, guiding me through decisions and explaining smart strategies for making offers. Ryan communicated areas for improvement along with the key attractive highlights of properties so I could be well informed in determining whether or not to purchase. Ryan is an expert negotiator, as he attained several thousands of dollars for me towards closing costs and seller credits. Lastly, Ryan is extremely resourceful. He had unlimited points of contact for any service I needed during and after my home purchase. This realty group is first class! read more

Chelsea Pferschy sold out townhome in Makakilo by carefully organizing work and preparation for our listing all while we were off island. I worked with Ryan Adams who was hands down the best real estate agent I've worked with. I've been buying houses for more than ten years, but when buying from over 2000 miles away, I think the agent is more critical than ever. Ryan was available even at irregular hours (5 hour time difference) and I felt comfortable making the biggest purchase of my life with his help, and I consider him a friend. I'm in the new house now and I couldn't have asked for more. read more

It was such a wonderful experience, everyone at Team Aloha Tony is awesome. You are definitely in good hands. Whether buying a home or selling one Team Aloha Tony is the best way to go. Thanks Chelsea for helping us find our home. :) read more

Aloha Tony! Tony has helped my wife and I find a couple homes and both processes were really enjoyable. I've worked with other realtors who frankly felt like they were trying to have me just pick a home as quick as I could. Tony's laid back approach is wonderful. You can see very quickly that he knows the business, the area, and the real value of properties. His advice was great and he always worked to get the best situation for us. Tony is very helpful, caring, and fun to be around. The combination of expertise and great relational ability is a rare thing. Anyone looking for a home should absolutely use him. read more

Home buying can be a long and frustrating process, but not so with Chelsea! She made the entire experience so wonderful and proactively went above and beyond at each step. Ultra responsive, honest and creative (we purchased a home sight unseen with her help), we would recommend her to anyone who's looking for an agent who puts your best interests first and acts with a sense of urgency without ever making you feel like "you're being sold to." read more

We just sold our place that we bought with Tony in 2012. He was just as good a seller's agent as a buyer's. Always kept what was best for our family in mind and never pushed us to do unnecessary things for the sale that would make our lives more difficult. We had already moved to CA when we entered escrow but Tony made everything go smoothly. Hopefully, we'll be back one day and we will be looking him up again to help find us a new place read more

Chelsea was very helpful when we met to discuss putting our condo on the market. She was organized, efficient, timely and professional. She is knowledgeable about Waikiki and the homes already on the market, I found her friendly and easy to connect with. read more

We were in a situation where we had to sell and buy within a short period of time. We had just moved to Hawaii from CA and didn't know what to expect from the housing market. Needless to say once we dipped our feet in we were a little intimidated. We had to sell one property and purchase another within a short period of time. Kaleo managed both transactions as if they were his own. He truly cared about our families needs and blew away our expectations. He made himself available when we needed him and was always responsive. It was clear that it was more than just business. He went on our home buying journey with us and we trusted him every step of the way. On the selling side his knowledge of the market allowed him to confidently set the asking price at the perfect amount( and above the price we thought of). It was on the market for about 2 weeks and we got an offer above our asking price. On the buying side it was much the same. Once we found a home we loved Kaleo made the whole thing smooth and worked with our lender and the buyers to close early which is exactly what we needed. If you're looking for a realtor with integrity, good work ethic, responsiveness and expertise than look no further. And to top it all off his stellar team had his back every step of the way! read more

My wife and I searched for an agent to sell our house before we moved to the mainland. We searched the web and Aloha Tony kept coming up as a top realtor so we called him. He was on vacation with his family in the mainland, picked up his phone and talked with us about our home and his services with sincere interest. We were very impressed that he took the time to answer his phone and even followed up with a few emails shortly after. We invited him over to the house and we got to meet him. Tony is warm gentlemen, soft spoken and very intelligent. He was confident that our house would sell fast and gave some detailed tips on staging our home in preparation for showings. Tony had a professional photographer come to the house and took beautiful pictures that showcased our home very nicely. Tony built a strategy around showing the house and creating some excitement by having multiple buyers see the house at the same time. Within 3 days we had our first offer, one day later we received our second offer which was pretty much at asking pricing, 5K under. As Tony promised, we were able to go into escrow within a few days of listing the house. Tony was in touch with us every step of the way and never missed a beat. We were moving to the mainland and was very busy, we really appreciated Tony's forward communication and proactive thinking to keep us ahead of the game. We closed while we were 3,000 miles away and it felt like Tony was right there with us. Everything closed and our check was deposited, almost too easy. When we searched for an agent, we wanted someone who sold a lot of houses to make this transaction fast and easy. We got that and much much more with Tony. If we ever move back to the islands, Tony will be the first person we call when we need a property. Tony has the local, aloha flair but very professional and focused, sometimes hard to find that combo in Hawaii. Thank you Tony for your great service, you really went over and beyond and won us over as customers and friends We wish you and your business the most success and extend an heartfelt Mahalo Nui Loa for all you did to make my wife and I's transaction easy and profitable. Kaleo made first time home buying easy. Working with Kaleo from the Aloha Tony team was a great experience. He is a very professional, considerate, and reliable realtor who took the time to explain many aspects of the house buying process and was not pushy. We didn't know the lay of the land in Hawaii but his expertise in the market allowed us to make an informed home purchase. Since moving into our home, we feel extremely fortunate to have a home for the right price and in a location that fits our lifestyle. We will definitely work with Kaleo and the Aloha Tony team again when we are ready to buy our next home. read more

Tony is absolutely the most professional and personable real estate agent I have ever worked with. He is attentive to every detail, amazingly responsive, and truly cares about finding you the perfect home. I think he was just as excited about finding our new home as we were. That's when you know you have found someone special. Having a passion for what you do makes all the difference in the world. Tony does not disappoint. read more

Tony came highly recommended and made the home-buying experience relatively easy. I'm not a patient person. Once I made up my mind that I wanted to become a homeowner, I was intent on finding a place within the first few weeks of looking. Tony, contrary to his immediate interests, advised me to wait a little longer to see if something more suited to my needs popped up on the market. Eventually, we found the perfect fit. Tony was very quick to respond to any questions I had, or to comment on any new properties that he noticed, or to suggest that we go look at a place. At the end of the process, there was a situation with funds that created a delay in the closing. I had a very small window of time for moving, so Tony worked with the sellers to allow me to move in early. I would recommend Tony to anyone looking to buy a home on Oahu. read more

My wife and I have known Tony since we moved to Oahu from the mainland in late 2009. Tony helped us find our condo in Kaneohe, and is working with us now to find our dream home in Kailua. We initially chose to work with Tony after interviewing a few other realtors, and we really we're fortunate to choose him. He is a hard worker, very knowledgable about the market and has a great moral compass- all great attributes for the realty business! We highly recommend Tony and have very much enjoyed working with him. You can't do any better if you need a great realtor who really cares about finding the best match for your housing needs. read more

Probably the rudest, pushiest, most arrogant person I've ever spoken with. Of course he's nice to potential customers (you pay his bills). Of course he meets people at church (what better place to pick up new customers?) Of course he promptly returns phone calls (otherwise lost income). But heaven forbid you rub this arrogant man the wrong way. He wants everything done his way only. In review after review, customers talk about the importance of meeting him before agreeing to work with him. And he does. But he doesn't practice what he preaches. If Hawaii real estate is cut-throat, Aloha Tony is King of the Cannibals. I wouldn't recommend him to my dead goldfish. read more

Best home-buying experience ever! EVER!!! This was our second home purchase, and Tony absolutely set the standard for any other real estate transaction in the future... there's no way I'd use anyone else! He was super patient, he always got back to us lightning-fast to answer any questions we had or show us a home, he listened to what we wanted, and he got us a better deal than we could ever have imagined. To say we were pleased with Tony would be the biggest understatement of the year. He's amazing! If you could combine the feeling of home-shopping with the feeling of being at the spa, that's what I'd say it felt like to work with Tony :) He's the man! Do yourself a favor & let him help you through the biggest purchase of your life. Mahalo, Tony!!! read more

When my husband and I finally decided to move from CA to Oahu, I began my search for a realtor. I wanted to find someone, who was not only knowledgeable of certain areas of Oahu, but someone that was going to understand exactly what we were looking for. Our realtor was Chelsea and all I can say is she went out of her way plenty of times to help us find our home. It was not easy, as we were relying on her since we were not on the island. What had me in awe about the service she provided was how quick she was to respond to questions and concerns we had. She really made us feel like we were her only clients with how attentive and accommodating she was. If you are looking for a realtor that will exceed your expectations, please contact Chelsea. We plan on buying real estate in the near future again, and the best part about that is knowing that we will have another opportunity to work with Chelsea. She's definitely as professional as they come and we are looking forward to being able to work with her again. read more

Tony and his team were fantastic! He found our dream home within minutes of it being listed, and helped us get an offer accepted within the first 48 hours on the market. It was a huge blessing to work with them throughout the process of purchasing our first Hawaii home. read more

My agent Chelsea was so AWESOME throughout my entire home searching to buying process!!! In today's competitive market, I feel you really need an agent who gets back to you right away so you can check out properties and put in an offer before someone does. Whether it was through text or email Chelsea always got back to me within minutes if not immediately after I hit send. I was so impressed with how fast she'd get back to me. I quickly learned how dedicated she was to her job and to her clients. When we first talked, she really took the time to get a feel of exactly what I was looking for and sent me the listings for only those properties so I didn't have to waste my time searching through places that didn't fit my specific criteria. I couldn't believe how spot on she was when she sent me the first batch of listings after we discussed what I was looking for. She was able to get me into properties before Sunday open house so that I could quickly put in an offer before the Sunday open house. Once I told her I wanted to put in an offer she immediately put the contract together and sent it over to the buyers agent. She was very knowledgeable on writing up the contract to make it very appealing to the seller. Without her help I wouldn't be in the lovely home I'm in. I am truly grateful for her. She is honest and won't try to sell a home just to make a sale. She truly cares about her clients and wants the very best for them. After closing I needed information from some of the documents I had signed weeks before and could not find it after sorting through all of my docs. Frustrated that I couldn't find it, I texted Chelsea to see if she could give me guidance on where to find it. Within 5 mins she emailed me the exact pages I was looking for. She is an amazing person and agent and I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in purchasing a property. read more

Simply put...Tony was fabulous. My wife and I took a gamble that many military families are familiar with, we bought a house in a market that we didn't know. I found Tony through his website while I was deployed. Most of our interaction with Tony took place while we were still on the mainland, we came out ahead of our move for a week of house hunting. I found Tony and his staff to be warm, honest, responsive, and most importantly to me, informed. He leverages technology to reduce many of the burdens associated with the time and distance challenges of doing mainland to Hawaii business. We won't know for several more years if buying our home was the "right" decision, but we like it, and feel like we went into it wide-eyed due to Tony's sage counsel. In the real estate business, everyone you talk to has a guy/girl, well from here on out Tony is my guy. read more

Tony and Chelsea have been superb to work with and came highly recommended from a coworker. I in turn have recommended them to a friend. We have found them to be very responsive throughout this whole process. True professionals with an easy bed side manner. They have given us great advice and have aggressively negotiated on our behalf when needed. The value they add isn't simply in their reduced commissions, they add so much more with their extensive knowledge of the market and their commitment to you when you become their client. If we were to ever need a realtor in the future we would definitely seek out Tony and team aloha! read more

We chose Tony's company to help sell our home because we were doing a short notice military move and he was able to accomodate electronic signatures. He and Mike Z were both very helpful, honest, and prompt with phone calls, emails, and visits. He gave tips on showing and helped us find vendors to take care of some last minute buyer requests while we were occupied with moving logistics. He was excellent at helping us to set and adjust our price to help move the home, and gave us great info about pros/cons about each buyer. There was only once when I would have preferred more information from Tony before making a decision, and felt a little rushed to pay for an improvement to the home to close the sale, but we ended up just eating the cost. Would definitely use his services again! read more
