    This is not aimed at this location but for Uhaul in general. Do not use Uboxes. We had several u…read morebox containers. They couldn't be delivered to our final destination address which was not fully disclosed at the time we rented them. We had to arrange for final transportation on our own using our own equipment. The big kicker here is as we emptied and returned the containers to the uhaul facility one or two at a time over several months, and they continued charging us for those emptied containers we were no longer using, which we had returned to the uhaul facility. We were told by uhaul they would continue charging us for the containers until they were all returned because they couldn't alter the way the contract was issued to remove containers as they were returned. That information was not in our contract and is also unlawful. No one can continue charging you rent for something you are no longer using and are no longer in possession of. The manager at the last destination told us she would correct the problem once we returned all the containers (she would refund us the overcharge) and she didn't. The overage was to the tune of over 800 dollars. We still have not had this issue resolved and this is all over a period of about 9 months. big thumbs down to u box...use something else or do something else

Those are givens, and most every storage center is hopefully going to be clean and secure. I've been renting several units at LoDo Self Storage for several years now. They get their extra stars from me for SERVICE. I imagine that working in a storage and moving center could turn someone into a sarcastic and snappy jerk, BUT NO! The staff here are consistently cheerful, helpful, eager and responsive. If they don't really care with sincerity, then they are amazing actors. It sure seems sincere. Really nice crew! (Cherie C's example of getting called about her CDs is very typical of how this group rolls.) They are also surprisingly flexible, trying to work with customers who have special storage or moving needs. (almost said "customers with special needs" but that has a completely different meaning!) As an example, they will discount the cost to rent the Penske trucks for people who rent storage units. They will extend their hours under special circumstances. Joanna C knocked off a point because she can't get to her stuff in the middle of the night. BRAVO LoDo self-storage!! If YOU can get into the place at night when they are closed, then SO CAN THE THIEVES! That's the main problem with 24hour access storage facilities! If you open up your unit, and it's empty or rummaged-through, it likely happened AT NIGHT when there was no one working. So, I wish I could give an EXTRA star for that, Joanna.

Less than 2 months after I began renting I was informed that the price would be raised to $138/month, an increase of 40%. I asked them what could've possibly changed in 6.5 weeks to justify an increase of 40% and they couldn't said that every now a d then they perform a "unit audit" and determined that this is just the price now. Makes me think that $99/month was just a teaser rate to win my business before they jack the price to what they actually want to charge, because how on earth could a $99 rate be fair 2 months ago, but suddenly be so out-of-line that they need a 40% increase. I asked for it to be lowered cause it was in bad taste to refuse to honor their quote in such a short time period. They refused. I left a review here to inform others and suddenly they realized that maybe they shouldn't jack their prices by that much so quickly and returned my rate to $99/month. They asked me to "help them out with some reviews left online." Since they returned my rate I agreed and deleted the review. It's now 5 weeks later and they have once again jacked my rate, this time by a smaller amount, only to $109 (10% increase). A 10% increase is still pretty unreasonable seeing as it's only been just over 3 months since I first became a customer. Given the context they gave me with the "unit audit" to justify their rate increase, the fact that this increase is significantly lower tells me that this time around it wasn't some BS methodology, but a conscious decision to push the price the price closer to what they really want but in a manner someone will grudgingly allow. In other words, their methodology for determining the rate increase isn't actually from a unit audit, but rather is just "whatever this customer will let slide." Poor business practices. Honor your quoted prices. If you want to charge more, quote more. And if you need to increase the rate, think about how reasonable the increase is given the amount of time that has passed.

    1/16/26 First of all, upon arrival at the shuttle pickup lane (Denver airport), one man said he…read morewaited for the shuttle for over an hour despite making numerous calls to Budget. So we called Uber. Then, while waiting in line at the Rapid Rez/Fast Break booth, the lady behind me told me they gave her the wrong car and she had to return to the Rapid Rez booth to have the car reassigned to her. Turns out the same thing happened to me because the lady in the booth sent me to the wrong car. I didn't know it until I was not able to exit the lot. Three cars behind me had to back up so I could return to Rapid Rez booth to stand in the blustery cold again and get the car reassigned to me. When I tried to exit for the second time, the man at the gate told me this car was not assigned to me either. I refused to go back to the Rapid Rez booth, so he personally ran back and corrected the issue. Turns out my Rapid Res rental took over 1 /12 hours! I have been a Rapid Rez member since 2013-- This is totally unacceptable! I rented from this Budget lot one year ago and had no problems so it appears someone needs to be retrained and management needs to pay attention....

Pricing is a bit higher than chains BUT it is worth it because you get the vehicle you are promised with no hassle, and you will be dealing directly with human beings that will answer questions you have in a timely manner. There are no hidden fees and they didn't try to gouge me for damage, wear and tear- some rental companies will do this but not these guys. Plus, you're supporting a local business. Highly recommend.
