I really appreciated my rental here. I got a Manager's Special at this convenient downtown location. Although they don't do pick-ups on weekends, it was a fairly easy walk from Union Station where I was staying (Hotel Indigo). The staff were really personable and they gave me a Jeep which was a really fun drive! I also really liked that they have a simple after hours drop off which was a good way to take the car out for a full day without having to pay for Hotel Parking. Drop off was simple and they called me back the next day to confirm that everything was in good order. read more

Lousy customer service. The guy who checked me out could care less about being there, but ok. I would also point out they don't show ppl how to adjust side mirrors or how to gas up. Rogues are way different than most cars. I also had a horrible situation where I lost the keys to the car. But I assure you zero employees over the phone or in person couldn't care less and the lady was out of cars. Then waiting after Christmas u called and they said it was closed out and now I have to wait 2 weeks for my refund. Why are screwing out ppl on purpose? Bring a lawyer with you if you rent from here. They are sneaking. A car was rented on our behalf for an accident that was legally determined to be the other person's fault. When we picked up the car we were told that the person at fault's insurance was paying for everything. Meanwhile they scammed both us and the other insurance. Great customer service and reasonable prices, if you don't need one at the airport. We had a nightmare wait at Budget in another airport, and friends were picking us up anyway. No waiting!!! The only downside was we wanted a Nissan Rogue and got a Buick SUV. Staff were very helpful and warned about hail damage fees. An Uber to the airport is $42. read more

Just got off the phone again with Tyler - my official favorite rental car representative, in the state, probably the whole country. (I rent a lot of cars) I ALMOST swore off Enterprise - ironically, because of a bad experience with personnel. .... and I genuinely hope that whoever Tyler reports to is seeing this because THIS GUY .... lemme tell you .... legitimately restored my long lost good feelings back in me with the rental car world, in general. Not too shabby. My wife and I used thier services for 3 days, and ot was pretty much seamless. Originally we were supposed to get a rental at Denver international Airport, but for some reason it was saying no vehicles available. At an airport? No harm done. Had to spend an extra $21 to take the train to the Union Station seeing as there was no shuttle. From there another 20 min wait to get picked up to get to this Enterprise location. Located within the downtown, dark side of Denver, this location was able to accommodate exactly what we needed. About 10 min tops, we were in our vehicle and on the road to our Hotel. Vehicle was clean and sanitized. Drove well with no problems at all. Amazingly great on gas for an suv. When returning the vehicle, like the check out, it was very minimal time taken. In and out in less than 10min. Overall the experience was almost flawless. The 4 stars is for the added travel time my wife and I had to make between the Union Station and airport. An extra $42 in expenses that we did not need. Otherwise, we will be renting from them again for future transportation needs. read more

These guys are playing the biggest game of Bait and Switch. When you book a very specific car for example I booked a Luxury SUV for 125.00/Day + Taxes and addtl Fees for 412.00/ 3 days basically You get there to pick up your reserved car and it's now 3 time booking and same exact experience. We tried to call but we don't have the car you reserved however we have this mini van... it's all we have Most folks are now in a bind and desperately need a vehicle (vacation travel, work need... whatever) I however am not desperate so I just walked away but the first 2 times they got me and I ended up in sub par reservations of filthy smelly cars. BEWARE I was charged $490 over my agreement amount for mistakenly returning my Dodge minivan to 351 Broadway instead of 2255 Broadway. Very easy mistake if you are not familair with downtown Denver. Unfortunately, like other reviews, we had a poor experience. When we arrived at the hotel to pick up the car, we were directed down to the basement parking garage. The garage is very dark. When performing the walk/around the attendant would not move the car to a lighted spot for inspection. They use a shield to inspect for damage (but it requires appropriate lighting, we have since learned.) The vehicle was not moved to a well lit spot and when asked about noted damage, the attendant said anything smaller than a golf ball dent from hail are not reportable as are bumper scratches as they are normal wear and tear. In hindsight, I should have walked away at this point as something didn't feel right, but I needed a car that day. When I got in, the fuel tank was only half full, which should have been another indication that the intake process from the last rental was not complete, another flag that I dismissed, but I needed a car that day and filled up the car before I started my errands. Upon returning to the airport, which is outside with appropriate lighting, the returning attendant said there was hail damage. I was surprised because I did the weather was gorgeous and there wasn't any hail. When I returned home, I received a text asking for my insurance information to pay for damage. When I called the office, they told me to take it up with claims. When I called claims, I spoke with the claims attendant who was u able to help. They did not have photos of the rental before and said that hail was reported 2 hrs away from Denver in Colorado Springs. I did not travel to the Springs as asked that they double check the GPS as there was no weather where I traveled that day. They were unable to do that. I asked to be sent the before-photos of the vehicle so they could see the smaller than a golf ball hail damage already there. They weren't able to do that either. I received a email that charged my card for the damage, $1300 in addition to the $600 to rent a car for a day and a half. Buyer beware or buyer stay away from Enterprise in downtown Denver. If you rent a car, make sure the car is in a well light area for the inspections, both before and after, and don't settle for their word - ask that the vehicle be moved to a well light area and then take your own photos and videos before and after you rent. read more

Called Enterprise last night and got the low down on what I needed to bring in to the rental office this morning, I.e. utility bill at my apt, license, debit card, etc. Went into the office this morning to get my rental car and began my rental process as usual. The blonde girl working behind the counter began typing info into the computer and everything seemed fine. She then asked for my I.D. which I furnished. She then asked for my utility bill which I furnished. She then asked for a second utility bill which I was not told to bring, and seeing as though my apt has one utility bill, that was not going to happen. She then asks if I have a rental lease for my current apt and we all know we carry around a spare rental lease for our apts in our pockets, so I searched on my phone and found my lease agreement. Ok, so now to get the car and get going, I thought to myself. NOPE. The girl led us outside to the rental car and did the pre-trip inspection and checked the mileage and gas gauge. Great, let's get the keys and go. NOPE. She then asked for my form of payment after signing the appropriate signature spaces. I handed her my debit card and she ran it through. Declined. I said surely this is a mistake because I have plenty of funds to cover the rental. She ran it again. Declined. Ok, so I switched funds over to another debit card, only to find out that Enterprise apparently doesn't accept non-chipped cards, of which my US Bank card is a non-chipped card. Wow, way to make it a non-fuss rental process. I then tell her to wait one more minute as I transfer funds to another debit card, and of course, Enterprise does not accept Venmo, Cashapp, PayPal or any prepaid type cards. I then ask her to please retry my bank card with the chip and she informs me that in order for her to place my card back in her tablet and retry the payment, we will have to go through the whole rental application process again. So, we walked inside, I triple checked the funds in my accounts and made sure everything was good, and she attempted once again to charge my card. Declined. So, I'm not sure if this is a valid issue or not, but for most debit card transactions, I am used to inputting my PIN into the machine, which I never did, so possibly she was running it as credit and it wasn't going through? I don't know but what I do know is they need to better inform customers that they need to furnish more than a utility bill and license and debit card to rent their cars and IF she was in fact running the card as credit and it was declining for that reason, then they need to train their employees better. Also, maybe, just maybe, get someone at the location that actually looks like they want to be there, and someone that isn't a condescending unhelpful zombie. read more

We rented our car through Costco and picked it up when we were leaving Denver. We just didn't want to pay the absorbent valet fees when we would be walking the city. Very professional - very friendly and nice, one of the best car rental experiences I've had in quite a while! Will definitely use them again when we are in the area. read more

Rented a car for three days last week. I was very impressed with the friendly and quick customer service from Casey, who quickly put me on the road in a car, and checked me back in on my return. Really fast check in and out. Fortunately, I had made a reservation a couple of weeks earlier as cars in the area were scarce. Especially with the car rental shortage these days, he was able to get me in a vehicle the very same day! He was amazing from the moment I contact this Enterprise on the phone and even in person. Amazing customer service, friendly, and professional the entire time. Not only was he all that with me, but with each and everyone who was in the store when I was there each time. A fucking joke. I arrived at 10:30am to pickup a car with my reservation made over a month ago. They only had 2 HUGE cars available. I'm used to driving a mini cooper so I asked if they would have a smaller car available later in the day. They said yes and that they would call me later to come get it. I waited 5 hours for their call. After 5 hours I tried calling. Well that's an issue since they don't answer their phones. In fact, not a single location answers their phones. So that's just great. Not happy at all with the way they sold me insurance that wasn't needed. While the rep was polite, he claimed that the insurance I had pre-purchased through carrentals / expedia was the same one offered by enterprise and I wouldn't pay for it twice. Today when I called enterprise (They did charge me for additional insurance that I later realized was separate from carrentals.com and totally duplicative), the lady who is the manager stuck to her guns: You signed the contract so it is your problem that you paid twice, not ours... Upon asking for what recourse I had for double charges she rudely repeated the same statement: it is your problem, not ours since we have your signature on our contract and then hung up the phone. My insurance company set up a rental through Enterprise while my car is being repaired. I received a confirmation and reservation number from Enterprise. I dropped off my car, Enterprise did not show up. The repair place contacted Enterprise and first they denied I had a reservation, then when the repair place sent a photograph of my reservation paperwork, they said they tried to call and didn't have a car and could get one for ...get this...6 days! Right. I had to call family to get home: now how do we get to job, soccer practice, etc. for a week or so? Well, my insurance company will find someone else: not Enterprise! I don't believe there are no cars at any Enterprise location in the Denver area. I believe this is a management and distribution issue that I will never have to face again because I will never use nor will I recommend anyone depend on Enterprise. Pick a different car rental company: avoid Enterprise. read more

I am not understanding why it costs $100/day to rent a car from this branch (I guess it could be supply & demand but this is crazy y'all). I will absolutely not use any other budget rental car companies especially because hubs & I were on vacation, so i really wanted to enjoy our time and not go through any hassles through other cheap rental companies I've heard of. I did get a discount through USAA so I am happy to report that we paid for HALF the price of the $100/quote and this was for an Economy car even though I had ordered a Compact. I was OK with this because at the time of the request for a pickup, they only had two employees and along with it being so early they couldn't come to get us and comped us for an Uber ride that was 1.5 miles away...that was excellent service and we just paid to get an Uber back after dropping off after hours. Overall, a good experience and kudos to the ladies for running the branch so smoothly. As a former person who's worked in the car industry, I was happy with our experience! read more

I was rented a car from this location due to a car repair/accident. Emma at this location was outstanding in customer service follow up and friendliness. I spoke with several agents here over the course of 25 days as the insurance company was slow to authorize a change in vehicle upgrade. They ultimately ended up changing the rate to benefit me and they totally took care of me when they didn't have to. We use Enterprise for work-related equipment management and rentals as well as National for vehicle rentals. Enterprise is super reliable and professional. What do yah know, I'm back again in Monday morning for another rental and it's too-notch service again. read more

Same review is on Google Reviews. I usually don't leave a review, but this was really a terrible experience. Booked a small sedan well in advance and even called the day arrival to ensure that we would be able to pick up the reserved car on time (when the branch opened) the next day, as we had a tight reservation window to keep. We showed up the next morning and waited over 1 hour in the store for our car to be cleaned. Once the car was available, we find out it wasn't a small sedan, but rather a big SUV that we did not want. Fine--no problem. We get in and start driving down the road when I realized that the gas was about 1/2 empty or more. The customer service rep who gave us the car never even mentioned this to us. Fine--no problem again. We turned back into the parking lot and the rep acknowledged that he knew the car was 1/2 empty. He gives me his business card and says that gas will be free and that we don't need to bring it back filled--bring it back empty, he said. This message was written on the card and I was told to leave the card on the dashboard, which I did. Given all the delay at Enterprise, we arrived at our reservation late--fine, no problem. Fast forward a few days, we, of course, bring the car back without gas filled and subsequently get charged a gas fee (despite again, leaving that business card on the dashboard). Since early October 2022 (the time of our rental), I still have not been able to get anyone from this Enterprise location to refund this gas charge. The phones are always busy, and one time, one person did pick up and said they would refund this charge (in late October), which actually never happened. Since then, the rep says he doesn't work at this location anymore. Overall, a very poor experience and poorly organized branch. read more

Car was in great shape and outfitted with the proper tires in compliance with the local traction laws. Terrible, terrible customer service. I even wrote an email to management after our experience and received NO REPLY. Read experience/rant below for more details if you'd like: When we arrived, our car had already been "given away" since we came later than we specified on initial reservation (by an hour!). The desk staff said they called, but of course we were in the air and didn't receive the call. OK, I guess I kind of get it? It was a busy weekend? The staff did bend over backwards and order us an uber to go to a sister site 20 minutes away to get a car faster. This process took about an hour. I appreciate the effort, but wasn't a great start to the vacation. I asked about rental return given it was a busy holiday weekend, and the attendant said "No problem, just return here." Well, when we arrived back before our flight to return the car, the entire parking lot was completely jam pack full with nowhere to leave the car (but if they unlocked an additional gate, we could have) and no street parking allowed. People had literally parked their rentals illegally on the side walk and bus stops in an attempt to return their cars. There was of course no staff on site due to the holiday and the 1-800 number on the door (of course) was no help and could give no advice other than "try returning it at the airport." Luckily for us we did have to go to the airport, but what if you didn't?! I am flabbergasted why we were not warned or told about alternative drop offs either in person when we initially asked, or posted on the door to the office. Everyone who works here is super kind, professional, and helpful to someone coming from outside of Denver where snow isn't a thing. I'd like to give a special shout out to Andrew who made sure I had an ice scraper and knew all the settings in the car for when it snowed. He went above and beyond to make sure the car was good to go and I felt confident in driving it. In spite of the cold weather, the staff here was very warm and welcoming and made my rental experience super pleasant. Check in and check out were also very smooth. I've have rented here at least 10 times during the pandemic and they have had shortages on vehicles and I have been patient. However today they had absolutely no cars available and waited until I got there to tell me. I had to pay for a lyft to get there and reschedule my dentist appointment. The proper thing to do was to notify me at 11:30pm because my pick up time was 12pm to let me know they didn't have vehicles. The Blonde hair white women manager is constantly showing contempt for me as a black women. What she did today was disrespectful, unprofessional, biased, rude and unacceptable. Mt Evans is a challenging road and we made it to the top comfortably and safely. Return was easy.
