I couldn't hear the knock but I was going to believe them, just figured they knew what they were doing and they're a reputable shop. I was about to sell it to a junkyard today and again I couldn't hear the knock so I figured id get a second opinion from another shop in boulder. (I know this should have been the first thing I did lol) Turns out the engine was completely fine, it needed a new accelerator pedal sensor and that was throwing the car into limp mode. I had already bought a new car and I just fixed my old one for about $100 and ten minutes of work; because I trusted them and didn't get a second opinion I'm stuck with two functional cars! I have a hard time believing they purposely misdiagnosed the problem to try and buy the car off me for significantly less than it was worth, but who knows. I'm really just confused by the whole thing, I thought I was going crazy trying to hear a knock in a perfectly healthy engine. The one thing I do know is that I wouldn't recommend this shop. Could have been an honest mistake, or there could have been some malicious intent, who knows. Regardless of the reason it happened they f***ed up and the whole thing has been a massive, unnecessary inconvenience.

I called for a tow at Noon. The tow didn't show up until 3:45pm. Even though the quoted time was 60-90 minutes. Absolutely insane. I called no less than 30x in those hours and was able to get through to speak to someone TWICE. The other 95% of calls simply go to voicemail, but you can't leave a voicemail. When I was able to get through, the woman just told me the driver keeps saying he's stuck in traffic. Denver has a solid rush hour but it doesn't take 3 hours to get down Peña Blvd. I called back and she said the driver stopped to use the restroom and get a snack at a gas station, she was fed up with him, and the "pressure she was under from me and my car insurance company," so she just took the driver off the job. If I didn't practically beg her to put the driver back on the job, I would have waited for over 3 hours all for this company to cancel the job when the driver was "already on Peña Blvd." When I asked the operator woman if I could just speak to the driver directly, she told me he didn't speak English. I waited until he finally came and...he spoke perfectly fine English. If you want a headache and have unlimited time to waste, work with this place. If not, go literally anywhere else.

They were hired by my apartment complex to assist with a replacing job. First, they showed up on…read morethe wrong day, and started towing vehicles before property management notified residents. Second, they ended up towing my car first (Chapa rep's words, not mine), and in doing so wenched my vehicle into a nearby tree, causing significant damage while loading it into the back of the truck. Despite overwhelming evidence (e.g. damage to the tree with paint marks matching that of my car on a thick branch about 8-9 feet up) They immediately denied any wrong doing, and only shared photos of the aftermath claiming "it was like that when I got here" and no proof of the condition of the car before it was loaded, even though the same rep went back on his words and claimed that they "always" take pictures before they load it onto the bed. He was rude and I could tell he was lying with how fluid is story was, and contained contradictory logic. Basically call anyone else for tow service, because this company provides terrible service, is dishonest, and clearly none of their employees value integrity.

When she finally took away her dog and ushered me into her nook she tried to photocopy my credit card! That's not ok! Basically these people are rude, unprofessional, late and possible credit card thrives. I don't have a fancy car, but I am picky about who takes care of it and LOVED my mechanics back home. Even after being very clear that I would walk if they changed the numbers, they tried to drop my trade-in value by $3,000+ the moment I arrived. Before I even got there, the salesperson, Lorenzo, sent a rude text refusing to even "look at my numbers" unless I showed him a full evaluation from another dealer first, then called me later on and blamed his manager and said it was him sending the texts. Despite having a quote and a check in hand, they still tried to play games with "hidden codes" on my vehicle. I walked out and went back to South Colorado Springs Nissan, who honored the $7,500 trade without question and got me a better rate. Don't waste your time or gas money here. They don't respect your time, their own written word, or service members.
