The staff were really personable and they gave me a Jeep which was a really fun drive! I also really liked that they have a simple after hours drop off which was a good way to take the car out for a full day without having to pay for Hotel Parking. Drop off was simple and they called me back the next day to confirm that everything was in good order.

Rogues are way different than most cars. I also had a horrible situation where I lost the keys to the car. Then waiting after Christmas u called and they said it was closed out and now I have to wait 2 weeks for my refund. Why are screwing out ppl on purpose? It took half an hour for the sole staff member to appear. Due to severe understaffing, our group of five waited an additional hour only to learn that our reserved vehicle was unavailable. We were then instructed to take an Uber to a different location, resulting in a total delay of over two hours. The return process was equally difficult, as it took thirty minutes to locate the garage entrance. Furthermore, it has been five days since the return and I have not receive a receipt. I have attempted to call the branch multiple times, but the calls go unanswered and the voicemail box is full. This was the most disappointing rental experience our group has encountered.

I stress the second tip because the guy tried to charge me for having a second driver when my Hertz status said it was complimentary. Then he tried to sell me on accident coverage, but I told him the credit card I was using covered me for that, too. The rep will try to get you to spend more than necessary so advocate for yourself. Anyway, they didn't have the car I reserved (SUV EV), so I was put in a "brand new" 2023 Nissan Rogue (gas) that sounded louder than a U-Haul. That car sucked. The exterior was dirty so it was tricky to spot damages while we were doing a walk-around with the Hertz rep. The tires were at the end of their life and practically bald. Even on a dry, straight road, the car felt like it was fishtailing. Taking turn was worse as you'd lose all traction. The gas pedal was finicky and only knew 2 speeds no matter how hard/light you pressed on it: creep and floor it to hell. I didn't feel safe driving that car, but I was stuck with it until Monday when other locations would be open and I could see about swapping that shit box for the car I reserved. When Monday came, I called the location I rented from and told them all about my issues with the car. The best they could do was call around to see if other locations had the car I wanted, have someone grab the car, and bring it to Arvada where I could pick it up. I could easily do that myself, minus driving 45mins to their location when there were others much closer I could do the swap at. At the end of the day, I got the car I originally reserved. Upon returning it, it seemed like I wasn't the only person with car issues at this location. Another customer was complaining about the same thing: fishtailing on dry, straight roads and mentioned how bad the car is and all this other stuff. He ended up saying that the guy was trying to screw him over. He was pissed and rightfully so. I was glad to return the car and I don't plan on renting from this location again if I can help it. Everything about this place seemed shady.

So I get threatening texts about them seeking repayment from collections when I paid, filled the truck with gas and did my due diligence. These people are not only ignorant, it's weaponized ignorance and no reps you call will help. I'm so frustrated I've cried, and for what, doing the right and proper thing? Seriously, go anywhere else but here. Horrific experience and a nightmare that keeps going, on, and on.
