I put in my notes when I booked online that it was my first massage and I was nervous it would be painful. When I arrived, the front desk attendant was very kind and took me upstairs to the spa. (Note - not sure how accessible this place is - I did not notice an elevator). My masseuse was Ashley, and she was incredible. She walked me through the process knowing I was apprehensive, explained any add ons, and made me feel at ease. She is so good at what she does, and I genuinely cannot wait to go back.

However, the results were consistently not what I requested. I brought in an inspiration photo and clearly stated multiple times that I did not want any red tones. The result was noticeably red/orange and looked nothing like the photo. I called the salon, and they were courteous and offered to correct it. The manager was helpful and encouraged me to return to the same stylist so she could learn from the situation. Although I was uncomfortable with that, I agreed as long as there was guidance. At the redo appointment, I again showed the inspiration photo and reiterated my concerns. Unfortunately, I left with hair that was pinkish/reddish/yellow and extremely dry -- again, not aligned with what I requested. The manager did ask if I was happy with it, but with the stylist present, I felt uncomfortable speaking up and said very little. The situation felt awkward and difficult to address in the moment. While the redo was comped, I was charged approximately $150 for a root retouch. Within just a few days, my silver growth was already visible. At this point, I am over $500 into the experience and have left each appointment feeling embarrassed rather than confident. I've decided to move on and find another salon, but I was truly disappointed by how far the final results were from what was clearly communicated.

Biz, herself, was easy to communicate my desired look with and she understood it to a "T" and delivered great results. I absolutely loved my transformation. She gladly told me what products she used when I asked (because my hair looked the most fabulous it ever has, no frizz) but never gave me a sales pitch or pressure to buy or spend money I wasn't wanting to. I almost didn't book because of some negative reviews but after reading through them they seemed not very credible, I decided to give Tim a shot. I'm glad I did. He helped me choose a style from a few photos online, explained what would work best for my hair, and absolutely nailed it. He offered me coffee, never tried to sell me any products, and gave me honest advice on maintaining my hair. Tim is a genuinely down-to-earth guy who's passionate about what he does. The shop has a great atmosphere, the prices are fair, and I couldn't be happier with my haircut. My wife loved it too. I'll definitely be back.

Bridget came highly recommended by a friend. When I mentioned that my appointment with my stylist…read morewasn't for another month and that my bangs were driving me insane, my friend raved about Bridget. So I gave her a call. She was very nice and was more than happy to work with my schedule. During my visit with her, she listened carefully to what I was asking for, asked questions in return to clarify, and went to work on my long mane. We had a very nice casual conversation while she cut my hair. She stated that it was a little intimidating cutting my hair, knowing who my normal stylist is. "He's a hard act to follow". I have to be honest and say that Bridget did a fantastic job. My hair might be long, but it's not easy to cut. I am 66 and have had my hair cut and colored all over the world, and I have to say Caitlin is one of the best. Wish I lived in Cincinnati, I'd be a regular! The salon is peaceful and trendy, without being intimidating. The salon manager, Jack communicated clearly with me by email, and was so helpful when I was making my appointment. They were also prompt in responding to my questions, which can be a rarity these days. The front desk staff was so welcoming and made me feel like a long time cherished customer. They gave me recommendations on restaurants and places to visit in the area (shout out Victoria!), as it was my first time to Cincinnati. They continue to expand their line of services and now offer hair extensions, lash extensions, nails and so much more.

Lee Ann (for a hair dresser) was probably the worst I have ever came across. This woman looked insulted when I showed her a blonde photograph(I assumed this was too much work for her to do) she assumed we were there for highlights. I said no all over color as she has heavy highlights. She looked puzzled, I said look if you are unable to do this I would be happy to go else where. She said no I got this now, my daughter sits she applies die all over and sets a 25 minute timer. During this time we learn she's getting ready for a concert eating dinner clearly excited for her plans (no harm there). Till my daughter's hair is dyed brown with what was supposed to be a trim looks like a toddler chopped away at the ends of her hair with dull play scissors. I will never ever return to this establishment and I will indefinitely share this expirence with everyone I know. My 14 year old devastated at the beginning of a very important chapter of her life.
