Robert explained that the product used by the other company wasn't applied properly and was not the best product solution for the summer season and that's why I still had those annoying bugs until I hired Hawx Pest Control. AJ was my Customer Service Representative and went out of his way to coordinate my firing of the other company whose product didn't work and who double charged me by adding a sneaky blub in the paperwork they fail to mention verbally.. so not only did the other company's product not work in less than 2 months the other company billed me $175 xs 2. Used them for a year, it was always someone different that came, one time the person was so awful smelling that when he asked if he could come in and had to decline. I called to cancel- the person would literally not stop talking about the promotions and specials even though I made it clear I was not keeping service and I finally said get me to your manager and she said, ok I said all do the things I have to say so I can cancel it for you now. They get rid of bugs, sure. But at a cost. It's extremely expensive and when you try to cancel they charge you a crap ton extra for canceling. I just had to call back 2 months after canceling because they've continued to charge me. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone. The product they use is no different than the $50 product you can buy at the store and the techs they send over to provide the service are lazy and trying to get out ASAP. This company is a scam. They lock you into a long contract and fail to deliver on what they promise. We signed up for rodent boxes after dealing with mice, but never received updates on service, never knew when they were coming, yet our account was still charged. Even worse, after admitting they dropped the ball, they still want to charge me to get out of the contract -- a contract they didn't even uphold. Poor communication, zero accountability, and shady business practices. I regret signing up and can't wait until our contract is over. Save yourself the stress and money -- look elsewhere. They are supposed to treat the inside of the house, but for the last service, they did not. In fact, we didn't even know they came until I received an email saying they were there. The service report didn't show any pictures or anything. Now we have ants in our kitchen, and when I called they said they can't come out for almost a week. Seth, the technician is very polite young man, he listens to my problems with Ants which he sets some baits around the perimeters of the house to get rid of them. Upon completion of the treatment, he told me to call the office if my ants problems aren't resolved and they'll come out again, at No Charge, for another treatment. read more

Deceptive company! I will attach a picture of the 1 month contract we signed when the salesman came to our door. We willingly agreed to a month to month agreement, when we were unsatisfied with service we called to cancel and discovered we were locked into a 12 month contract. There is a 1 in the space before the word month and THEY ADDED A 2 BELOW THE LINE IN THE WORDING OF A SENTENCE!!! Terrible customer service. We have been trying to cancel since we moved 6 months ago. They continue to charge us and even serviced the old address two days after we spent hours on the phone trying to cancel. We have been left on hold several times with nobody answering, we have tried the call back option and never received a call back. Their "account managers" give you the run around, talk in circles and refuse to give any results or assistance. Their hold messages also state that they will perform services for free if they have to return in between quarterly services, that is also false! At our old home, we ended up with ants in between services and they charged us for an additional service! This is one of the worst companies I've ever worked with, only company worse than them is Aptive. I will be reporting Hawx to anyone I can. read more
