What they want to charge to extend for only six weeks for $300 is rediculous. It has taken almost 7 months to catch 5 moles, so odds are in 6 weeks we prolly wouldn't catch much. Need to be consistent and truthful in your packages. Doubling the price for a lot less of a duration is not right. The pest spraying and mosquito treatment is well within what everyone is charging and have no complaints about these services.

I always received an email to schedule, but I didn't always notice that it was from them because there was no business name displayed. After some time, I called to get the service scheduled again. I took the day off work so I could be here on the scheduled day, and they showed up in the window that was promised. Their service vehicle was a mess on the outside, with paint peeling all over the front etc. It's just something worth mentioning because it makes them look a little less professional. I went over the grounds to describe the issues that I am having. I really needed to get things taken care of and was happy that they were here to perform the spraying. They were here for about 30 min. or less before I was told that they would have to come back some other time since their sprayer was not working. That was disappointing since I needed service sooner rather than later. Great, now I have to get back on a schedule and back in line and wait. I have no idea what was treated before the sprayer broke, or if anything was treated at all. This kind of information would have been nice. I received a VM from the office to reschedule - No apologies for the inconvenience of my taking off work for this appointment or anything. Just a "call us back to reschedule" type of thing. The last thing I need is to take off work again with the potential of the job not being able to be completed. I am going to go with another local provider and hope for the best.

We had an absolutely terrible (and environmentally damaging) experience with Moxie. But they proceeded to fill the grass with pesticides (we caught it at the tail end of the service call, but it was too late). When we reported it and asked to cancel the service, they charged us $299 despite the breach in contract. Plus, who charges $299 to stop a service that already charges per visit?! Moxie is undoubtedly a scam, and I draw the line at any company who willingly kills fireflies and has no remorse for it. UPDATE: Moxie replied below to say that we should call about this issue, but we did call (and emailed) Moxie about it when it happened, and their only response was to send us a cancellation agreement with a $299 bill.
