I hired Hawx Pest Control to remove roaches from my rental property. After researching several companies, I chose them based on their competitive pricing and commitment during the initial process. The booking process was easy, and I received an email confirmation after the treatment. However, after spending a few hundred dollars over six months, I still struggled with roaches. During the last visit, my tenant questioned the treatment time, and the technician suggested I purchase a more expensive plan. When I contacted the company, I was informed for the first time that I may have a German variation of roaches, which would require an extensive treatment plan for the next six months. I declined to pay more than the current $80 monthly and requested the program's termination. However, the representative reminded me that the $199 termination fee would still apply, and my contract only covered American roaches and other variations, but not German roaches. I was disappointed with the company's misleading promises and exclusions, so I advise others to avoid Hawx Pest Control. read more

This is a franchise. If you need Customer Service, you will have to contact Utah. You will not be able to reach an actual representative in the billing office. You will only receive generic answers through the chats, emails and phone calls. After almost daily chats and emails (for 2 weeks), they finally provided me with a number to Customer Service. Even though I was able to prove that it took me 2 weeks to get a response, I was still charged for another month, just because they wouldn't respond to me, until after the first of September. Use this company if you want, but I would strongly suggest that you try to reach out to the billing department before you sign any contracts and see if you get a response. You must read the contracts on the iPad before you initial them, if you are waiting to review the emailed copies, you are too late to dispute the claim with the billing department. FYI; the billing department will not make any adjustments unless you RECORD your conversation(s) with the sales representative, your word is not valid. read more

Josh was the technician that serviced my home he was so kind and gracious with my two-year-old that was home sick with me. She wanted to follow him around everywhere and when she couldn't do that she cried her eyes out but he did not bat an eyelash and he was so very cute and funny with her and calmed her right down. Besides his being personable he was very professional and explained every treatment that he was applying to my home how long it would last and that I could call or reach out to them at any time if I saw any sort of activity. Everything! Darius was very respectful & completed everything in a timely manner! I especially appreciate the treatment for fleas as we have animals. I do not want them to get outside & get any fleas due to any other dog or cat coming through our yard that has fleas. At least this treatment keeps that minimized. read more
