When I was backing my truck up I could see him angrily ranting to his coworker. When I got out he just said "open the back of your truck...." Choosing to order me around instead of interact with me like a costumer. It took less than 5 minutes for me and the two workers to load the blocks. The unprovoked rudeness has made sure I'll never spend another dollar at Hardware Hawaii. Unless you enjoy being treated badly, spend your money at Home Depot.

HUSBAND: No, no... it's that waterproofing coating that we used on our former house's walkway and outdoor deck. I want to apply it to our lanai floor. ME: Ok, so since you're talking about it, I take it that YOU've already looked for a White Lava supplier? HUSBAND: Of course....I found All Weather Surfaces - HI through Yelp. My husband sought out All Weather Surfaces - HI as he's been wanting to waterproof and create a non-slip surface on our current condominium's lanai deck. After calling to confirm product (White Lava) availability and retail sales to the public (since they're listed as building supplies and deal mainly with commercial accounts), we jumped into our car and drove off to Halawa Valley. This company is located on Iwaena Street in O'ahu's Halawa Valley. They were easy to find and have several assigned parking stall for customers fronting their business. Entering into their sales area, we found well-organized displays of multiple protective coating brands (White Lava, Neogard, carboline, Sika, Pratt & Lambert and COOLWALL), applicators (paint rollers, brushes, etc), reinforcement mesh and various other tools needed for painting. Admittedly, I was mesmerized with all of the different products and their specific uses. But, we were there for the White Lava products. We were pleased to have met with Gavin Abe, as he was the one who spoke with my husband earlier. Gavin was honest and forthright as he provided us with more information about White Lava and the best ways to apply the product to our current lanai. He also determined the quantity of product needed based upon the dimensions that we provided. This product is excellent on prepared plywood or concrete surfaces where there is high foot traffic. The smallest container of the White Lava was 1 gallon. We were surprised to learn that this product can custom tinted, too. Our interaction was pleasant and educational. It was very nice of their inventory or warehouseman to carry our purchases to our parked vehicle.
