Michelle shared a few different place card ideas that fit with our wedding vibes & it was hard to pick just one because they were all amazing. We went with clear, plexiglass hexagons that included our guests' names in gold calligraphy. Not only was Michelle extremely communicative, but she also went above & beyond by asking about ink color, sharing sketches with different font options, and recommending we include the last initial for duplicate guest names. As a bride with a million details running through her mind at any given moment, it was great to know Michelle was thinking through all the details of my place cards and I could focus on other things. The place cards turned out perfect and Michelle shipped them with so much love and care all the way from Hawaii (we live in San Diego, CA). So, the week before my wedding I reached out to them on Instagram. They messaged me back the next day & I was able to tell them what I was looking for. (BTW I got married in January, so it was not the summer wedding season.) I was able to order a round acrylic sign & custom Polaroid frame which both turned out beautifully in a short turnover time. Susan even sent me rendering of both pieces with different font combinations. This was super cool and helpful as a customer. They went above and beyond my expectations for contacting them at the very last minute. Again, keep in mind that these vendors are busy year-round so I definitely consider myself lucky to have had their services. I DO NOT recommend doing what I did and contacting them late. I chose a BRIDE and GROOM geometric place setting and a customized ornament with my friends names and wedding date. I had less than a week before the shower and she delivered - all neatly packaged, ready to go! She showed me the design before she cut them to make sure it was perfect. I loved my friend's gift so much that I had my own wedding cake topper made soon after! It blew my mind how great it looked. Dare I say I look forward to the cakes' decor more than the actual cake?! Service is very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The shop is clean, bright, and organized. Thanks for the air conditioning! There are all kinds of merchandise: pens, bags, clothing, stickers, plushies, socks, crochet kits, and more! Characters range from BT21, Totoro, Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Rilakkuma, and others! Located on the corner of 3rd Avenue and Waialae Avenue, across from Chaminade University/Saint Louis School, Patty's Floral Designs is a local business that has been around for decades! The quality is outstanding! I looked at Patty's Instagram posts and was blown away by the colors, varieties, and beauty of her creations! She has a good eye and is very professional! I just had to meet her after passing by the shop all of these years! We were picking up lunch from the restaurant next door. The free, small, shared parking lot is much appreciated! I went inside initially for the air-conditioning. Then, I met Patty - she is so sweet! She showed me a lei po'o (crown of flowers for the head) that she just finished... ooh! It holds its shape because she winds the flowers around a wire! Smart! I've read reviews by my friends, Kelly K., Paul M., Nicole, Holly, Ric C., and Lyn L. They were all happy with Patty's work. They responded right away with all their options and pricing so I could decide. They put me on for that Saturday and confirmed everything. I said designer's choice for the bouquet and was a little worried but I shouldn't have been! When we got there Saturday morning to pick up the flowers, Patty greeted us. She was soooo nice. The flowers came out so beautifully and the lei was nice and full. Amazing service and quality! I would highly recommend and come here again :)
