Our first visit in this place, we talked to Kelly and she's a very sweet, friendly and helpful. She recommended places to fish, possible fish to catch without over promising and bait to use. We also asked her about the charter and she hooked us later in the week to go fishing inshore (about 4-5 miles in the Atlantic). This was our first time experience in the area and of course, I didn't expect to catch anything but just to experience the trip. Captain George was very experienced and fun to be on the boat. Very professional and friendly and good at what he does (navigating the boat safely and finding the fish). Noah was our first mate; quiet and fun kid to be on the boat helping us all with our catch. Thanks Noah for all your help The other folks on the boat were funny and was just having fun during our entire time fishing. It was a great experience with great people in the boat enjoying the day fishing. At the end of the trip, we took home about 15 good size spanish mackerel. In terms of the boat, it is a converted yacht of sorts. The outside looks like a typical Hatteras deep-sea fishing boat, but the inside is very well equipped for a nice ride to and from the fishing grounds. Now since we can't always choose win the fish are biting, the real value of one of these charters is the captains knowledge and the mates willingness to help. We sailed out but the tuna just weren't going to work out for us that day. The captain gave us the option of either continuing to troll around for what was not amounting to much, or going closer to shore and scoring quite a few tile fish. We were there to fish, so we went in sure. The reason why I bring this up is that it would've been just as easy for the captain to troll up and down and save gas and not really worry about whether or not we caught fish. Instead he involved us in the decision and we had a wonderful time. The real reason why this review is five star comes down to the meet. Brad was a workhorse and truly took care of us in every way possible. His knowledge of the fish, the habitat, how to get them to get on the line, was second to none. It was so enjoyable spending the day with him that it really wouldn't of mattered if we caught any fish at all! But we did catch fish! Quite a few of them! By the time we got back in we were tired, but could not of asked for a better day save the missing tuna! Once you get back to the port, for about a half a buck a pound they will fillet the fish for you and send you home with bags full of fresh fish. I honestly can't wait to go back and fish with Tenacity again!

Tom knew exactly where to find the fish; Brad was an absolute expert with the tackle and helping us novice fishermen to reel in our catches. The boat is absolutely pristine; a gem. It has an extremely even ride; lots of places for naps; and powerful A/C for those so inclined. This was worth every penny we spent. We will be back next year for sure.

Keith is a long-time member/volunteer of the local Coast Guard Auxiliary and has decades of boat captain experience. As a retired teacher and school administrator, Keith has a keen appreciation for his adult students' needs. He assigned some light reading to prep my sessions and conducted a few practical applications on my nautical situation awareness, chart reading and weather appreciation. My docking skills have greatly improved under his coaching. I've already pushed his info to several friends (who truly need his help). Great guy, great instructor, great boat captain - call him for reasonably priced lessons!
