He then took us to an area to chum for shark. Within 10 minutes we had several Hammerheads going into a frenzy fighting over our live bait until one finally devoured the bait. My daughter had a great time reeling it in! A great family experience at a great price! I highly recommend shoes, the sturdier the better, and keep a close eye on your footing. The pier sways a bit in the wind which one may find soothing or terrifying, depending on your perspective. The indoor reception shall is shockingly beautiful especially if decked out for a wedding. Sightseers are charged $1 to walk out. Fisherman pay more of course and its a two rod limit. The pier shares a parking lot with the Hilton Garden Inn.

The marina has anything that you'd want from a 7-11 or bodega so stock up and give them the business (including local favorite ice cream sandwiches from Surfing Spoon). But I know why you're reading this and it's why I looked to Yelp also. Chad is super knowledgeable and made our charter so safe and enjoyable for our family. We had my dad and my 7-year old son. My dad has fished his entire life, but my son and I haven't. As others mentioned, Chad keeps the bait stocked and makes sure all have an enjoyable time without the worry. We caught sooo many fish and the trout tasted so incredibly fresh. We will be sure to put Chad into our OBX roladex and call him for our next excursion!
