    Milk tea flights
    Nathalie C.

Had to check on this new cafe in town. The coffee shop is huge, lots of seating, and fast wifi. Haven has a variety selection of pastries and drinks. Their pastries look very good and fresh. They have fun flavors like pistachio, Dubai chocolate pastries, scones, croissants, toasts, and many more. They also have gluten free option. The drink options include coffee, Italian soda, matcha, tea, milk tea, and more. I ordered the bubble tea flight which came with 4 types of tea, this includes the taro milk tea, strawberry matcha, black tea and jasmine tea with salted foam. The flight also comes with 4 different straws, lychee and boba toppings. The flight was actually really good which surprised me because you wouldn't expect a coffee shop to make good milk tea. This place is great, I would come again to get some work done while having a quick bite or drinks.

Get the cookie butter latte with cookie butter cold foam! The latte was creamy and delicious without being too sweet. I also got the brown sugar boba tiger milk 75% sweet - I'd probably get the 50% sweet next time as 75% sweet here is sweeter than most other boba places. The drink itself was good but the tapioca was not cooked long enough and was hard in the center. The cottage cookie was a solid oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. There's a lot of seating and tables but it was packed when I went on Sunday afternoon.

I checked out a relatively new north end cafe, Raven (2/26/26). It is located across the street from the Edmonds College campus and transit center. I greatly appreciated the adjacent parking garage where gimpy me was able to park in a slot right by one of the cafe entrances. This is a really bright and airy cafe with high ceilings and exposed beams. There are a variety of seating configurations - communal, tables, sofas, and counter. It's also nice that they are all spread out and does not feel like a cramped laptop farm. And yes, there are outlets and WiFi available. It had a nice vibe being so close to campus. Good for meetups, to study or read, and has convenient hours (weekdays 7am-7pm, weekends 8am-6pm). The wrap around counter is fairly substantial with an espresso station, ordering registers, and an impressive pastry case featuring baked goods from The Cottage, Community Bakery in Perrinville where Edmonds and Lynnwood meet up. There's also a nice variety of espresso, teas, matcha and boba tea beverages, as well as, pastries, sandwiches, toasts, a granola bowl, and a salad choice. Merch included Rishi teas, Station and Fulcrum coffee roasts, and bags of maple pecan granola. I placed my onsite order with a pleasant cafe staff member for a 16oz mocha, chocolate chip cookie, and a half sized toasted focaccia sandwich with roast beef, provolone, aioli, arugula, and caramelized onions. The mocha was decent, cookie spot on, and the sandwich was tasty. I just wished there was another slice of roast beef to make it a bit more substantial. Overall as my first meal of the day late in the afternoon, everything was satisfying. It was great to hang out onsite for about two hours. Great indie cafe find - definitely recommended!

What a great concept of a cafe! A very large cafe with lots of seating, high ceilings, and moderately quiet. Good lighting, the parking is the only tough part. They have lots of pasteries, hot foods, and of course boba/matcha/coffee/drinks. I got the flight and it was amazing. The drinks were sweet like your typical boba spot but the flavors were great, love the toppings and the pricing was fair. I highly recommend and would come back!

pretty good cafe! i enjoyed the strawberry matcha, the turkey sandwich and the cheese spinach pastry. i like that parking is easy. it is a bit pricey for their food options like a $18 sandwich, it did not include salad nor chips.

Truly a Haven with delicious pastries and beautiful coffee! A large open space with a comfy corner "living room" area for casual conversation. Busy when I was there but not loud, making conversation or studying accessible. Pastries were amazing - especially the papanush!

Amazing Boba. I got the Ube and Matcha. The decor and overall ambience is very pleasant. I highly recommend this place. The staff is very friendly as well.

This place is impressive and it's only been open for two months!! What caught my eye first was the Grand Opening ad introducing their new item, the Romanian traditional cheese donut Papanash (Papanași). And so we found out that the owners were Romanian Americans. I am Romanian too and I couldn't be more excited! The papanash are top quality, taste just like at home, or better! Made with Ricotta cheese and topped with cream sauce and home made wild blueberry sauce. It's out of this world, believe me!! The smoked turkey sandwich was just right, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, the latte and the latte art were made to perfection!! All the pastry there looked amazing, I can't wait to try them all! I got to meet the owners and they are the sweetest and friendliest people you could meet! I can't wait to go back and I'm going to tell all my friends about this coffee place gem! We decided to try it, as it already has100 Google reviews and 10 Yelp reviews, almost all 5*!!

Fortunately, there was no traffic so it was a 20 min drive easily. However, a lot seemed to have changed from about a year ago? We got popcorn chicken which was $9 for a very tiny plate (like the medium size sampler food container you get at food tasting events) which is a joke of a portion, and the chicken was not even good quality - heavy on the batter. Compared to pictures a year ago, where the portions looked much much larger. They are so stingy on the amount of chicken, that I thought they were giving us a sample to try before they make a real batch lmaooooo. I tried the Kocochi milk tea with creme brulee, boba, jelly, etc. Sounds good on paper, inflation I get it, was expecting $7 but it was $8, plus tax, so it is actually not that competitive of a price anymore now that I think about it. I could get a very good quality boba drink for $7.50+tax elsewhere without all the fancy toppings, but with boba included. I was pretty disappointed with the quality. The boba is so overcooked that it is mushy, and the creme brulee was not thick enough that I have to use a spoon to even be able to get any of it out (instead of being able to drink it from the other side which is what it is supposed to be). I'd avoid this place unless this is a one off but I will need to be redeemed a better experience before recommending this place. There are better options in the area

Although I try to be as openminded and objective as possible, when it comes to dessert, I'll always vote for Asian desserts, and I'm not going to lie. I've tried three different chè here, and none of them failed me. They were Bambu Favorite, Summer Delight, and Taro Lover. To sum it up for those who've never been here before, it's basically coconut milk with various boba style toppings. I always get the large size on Saturday afternoons and take it to Edmonds Beach. Out of these three, my least favorite was Summer Delight, simply because I didn't enjoy scooping out the thick glass noodle textured jelly at the end. I love how all my chè were coconut milk based, they're lighter than milk and don't leave that nasty aftertaste and bad breath lingering in your mouth. The ingredients such as pandan jelly and tapioca were fun to eat, with a subtle sweetness to them. The whole cup of chè is perfectly balanced, nothing overwhelming the other. As someone don't drink and smoke, having a chè after my weekly grocery shopping is a mental spa break for me. So next time you're nearby, give it a try, Asian dessert drinks are more than matcha latte.

I had never heard of chè before, and it seems like it is not easy to find a spot that serves authentic versions in the Seattle area. The store is located in the same complex as Ranch 99, which makes parking very convenient since there are plenty of free spaces available. There were a few people ahead of us in line, and it took us some time to decide what to order. My friend suggested either #1 Bambu Special or #2 Bambu Combo, and specifically advised not to get a boba drink here. I chose the #1 Bambu Special since it was listed as one of their top-selling drinks and had fewer calories than the #2 Bambu Combo. I selected the regular sweetness level to get a more authentic taste of chè. The drink came out quickly, but after taking a sip, I was not quite sure what I was drinking. It had large chunks of ice, floating basil seeds, pandan jelly, longan, and coconut. Tbh, it was very disappointing. The drink was not cheap. It cost $8.50 before sales tax and tip, bringing the total close to $10. Is it worth driving all the way to Edmonds and paying almost $10 for this drink at Bambu? Personally, I don't think so. There are only about five small tables, so it is not the kind of place where you would want to sit and hang out, either. I feel like I could find a better drink and better experience somewhere in Bellevue or Seattle for a similar price.
