Stopped by here for a quick mocha and it ended up taking a lot longer than expected. It wasn't busy, but I stood at the cash register waiting to order while the baristas and workers were doing their thing, and no one acknowledged me...it was odd, I tried getting their attention but they either didn't hear me or ignored me. I almost walked out but someone eventually came over and asked if I'd been helped yet (obviously not) and finally took my order. The mocha was good albeit a little too sweet for what I normally prefer. Suggest asking for less chocolate if you order a mocha. read more

Coming up on three months of stay at home orders and I've been craving a decent latte for most of those three months. We took a trip up to Concord to get out of the city and to satisfy my coffee craving and I'm so happy that we did. Haute Coffee is a cute little building tucked off the main street. They're currently only doing online orders on the weekends, which are placed on a table outside the shop once completed. Their online ordering was easy, but not necessarily seamless. They are clearly doing a good business with tons of people waiting for orders, and as a result it seems like the availability of items listed in their online ordering system might be a little wonky. We didn't end up with one of our items and had to call to ask for it to be substituted instead of refunded. Their cold brew coffee was delicious as was their maple latte. I'm a sucker for anything with cardamom, so this latte was right up my alley. It's got a ton of spicy cardamom flavor, but wasn't too sweet and didn't overwhelm the coffee- an excellent latte. We also got a piece of banana bread (yum) and some of the best avocado toast that I've had. It was in the mid eighties and I was hoping for something fresh (and cool). The avocado toast fit the bill perfectly. I opted for the 7 grain bread which held up well to the avocado and tomato toppings. The tomatoes were fresh and well seasoned. I would definitely get the avocado toast on a return visit and am looking forward to trying more of their offerings. read more

I've been a few times with family friends when visiting them in Concord. Always a go-to stop for coffee but best if not with kids in tow. Most recently, we were sans-kids and easily found seats to enjoy the Toast Du Jour which was multigrain topped with home-made ricotta and squash. absolutely delightful and the snack we needed. I had a dark roast pour over that really was not dark. My friend enjoyed her peppermint mocha tremendously. I came back as I was leaving town and ordered a peppermint mocha for the road. I agree it's the best peppermint mocha I've had. Not syrupy sweet. read more

Very nice coffee shop in a sweet little town. Visiting family in Lexington, I woke up and needed a cup of something decent (as opposed to the fat free half and half laced instant coffee on offer by my lovely and well meaning but non-coffee fussy relatives). Many of the area shops had unreasonable hours (I mean, who is waiting until 10 for a cup of coffee??), so when I happened upon the cross-section of 8 am opening time and good reviews, I was sold. The clientele was positively YouTube worthy (the conversation overheard about the "life-changing sprinkle of sesame seeds on my avocado toast" was too much to be believed, but I swear it happened) which only added to the experience. Baristas were super friendly and, more importantly, made a fantastic latte from Counter Culture beans (not typically my favorite but well done in their capable hands). Nice separate eating area plus a lovely little outdoor space. It was so nice, I went there twice. Don't miss the giant parking lot accessible through a teeny-tiny side street. Haute Coffee is definitely one of my favorite places to the point where my father and I have made it a weekend tradition. I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The cold brew is incredible and I alternate between that and the iced matcha yeti latte (peppermint and vanilla) with oat milk. My little brother is particularly fond of their iced tea, lemonade, and hot chocolate (although lately he's been ordering a mocha flavored babychino instead of the regular haute chocolate because he prefers a little bit of a cooler temperature). They always have a cute selection of pastries and often will have at least one vegan and/or gluten free option. The barista's are always super friendly and accommodating. (Be kind to them because they're doing a really nice job handling the pandemic!) Because of the pandemic, Haute has closed off all indoor seating and has customers ordering through a window in the front of the shop. You can also place orders through their website. If you're looking for a quick coffee to go, this may not be the right place for you as wait times can span 15-45 minutes. However, if you do have the time, there are plenty of cute shops nearby to explore. Haute Coffee is well worth the visit! read more

Saturday morning we stopped into Haute. We did park on the street unaware there was a parking lot right near the main entrance when you turned into the Haute area! When we entered, we were unaware if you placed your order in line or at the table. In line folks! I liked that at 11:15am on a Saturday you still could choose from the breakfast menu or the lunch menu. There were lite and heavier options for a coffee shop. The sitting area is small, and you do have to wait out a table. Luckily it didn't take us long. Most seating options here are for 2 people but we made a table for 4. The atmospheric highlighted the old architecture but hipster vibe of the shop. It did not feel cozy as it was packed. Food is delivered to your table, I have to say it did take some time for them to toast some bread and cook 3 pieces of bacon!! Prepare for a small wait. I did have the avocado toast. I have to say I wasn't a fan of the pepper flakes but overall a nice option to offer. Cute place but if you are in a hurry or want something cozy, this isn't it. read more

Best coffee in the area. I had a cappuccino and some of their house made lemon olive oil cake, which was also excellent. The cappuccino was excellent with perfectly frothed milk and it never hurts to have a little cappuccino art as well. The space is comfortable, clean and well decorated. The service was very friendly. This is the cutest little coffee shop! The staff were super friendly, the coffee was amazing, and best of all? Vegan pastries! I stopped in here when I was on my way home from an event and needed a quick spot with wifi. Haute Coffee is next to a parking lot that had ample parking (and I'm pretty sure it was free parking, if memory serves). The staff were super friendly and helpful when I was being wishy washy about what I wanted to order. Also, I think this might be one of the last coffee shops to offer soy milk. And I am so so so grateful that they do. Only downside? There's 3 doors... Upside? They all work! I got confused about how to get in with so many doors. Many places will lock one or ask you to go around to another entrance. Not here! read more

I ordered an iced lavender latte. The barista made a hot latte. Rather than properly remaking the iced latte, he proceeds to fill a whole cup of ice and then just pours the hot latte into the ice cup. Now my drink tastes like water with lavender essence. Do better, even Starbucks knows not to do this. No big deal if it was made incorrectly the first time, but at least correctly remake it. I paid 6$ for a sloppy drink that doesn't even taste like coffee. read more

Fast service, wonderful hot chocolate (I am not a coffee drinker) and they also take the Square Wallet which I have never used but seemed to work well for the person in front of me. They have WiFi - ask for the password - which is great since cell service, at least for AT&T, in the Concord area is terrible. In the end -- think Starbucks but better. read more

We have stopped at this coffee shop several times now and every time it is very good. The pour over coffee is delicious. Very flavorful. It comes in a cute little glass bottle with an insulator that looks like a vest. We also usually each get a baked thing. I have tried several different scones. They were all very good. The only other time I had been here before (years ago), I was very much turned off by a patron who delayed the line over a much-to-do-about-nothing just to exercise her entitlement fackery. And let's not talk about all those $8K racing bikes blocking the entrance to the parking lot while their owners preened about in their head-to-toe olympic wanna-be costumes. It was like all the pretense in living color Nathaniel Hawthorne wrote about while living at the Old Manse just a few blocks away. (Well, this is Concord MA. Should I have expected something different?). Fast forward to today. I was Jonesing for coffee and in a rush. I went in and yet again, the waaft of patron entitlement was on full display in attitude, posture and talk. Yet, what I saw behind the counter was the complete opposite. There was a welcoming, non-pretentious team WORKING THIER BUTTS OFF to get the goods to the customers as fast as possible (Gold star to the hiring manager). I ordered the Mega Eggy and and small coffee. The coffee was delicious!!! (You win right there!).The Maga Eggy was fresh, very tasty, and well balanced in ingredients and temperature. This was an interesting experience, and after 5 visits I had to stop going. Ultimately it came down to whether the trip was worth the product as there are many local coffee options. Stopped here in the middle of a bike ride and got a couple things to fuel up with: - maple spice latte: super delicious, tasted very maple-y without being overly sugary. - cold apple cider: nice and refreshing drink, pretty much exactly what I was hoping for. Had some nice spices to top it off with. - avocado toast: the tomatoes this was topped with were amazing! I was surprised that tomatoes were still in season this late in September. I did wish this was on a nice thick slab of sourdough instead of sandwich bread but so it goes. My absolute favorite coffee house! Their lattes are out of this world and they appear to use only homemade ingredients. Seasonal drinks are also delicious - tried a maple water cold brew in the fall and it was unreal. Tasty baked goods including Iggy's and very good breakfast/lunch sandwiches. And to top it off, their staff always greet you with a smile and you can tell they work hard! This place is 15 minutes from my house but well worth the trip. read more

The coffee is extremely expensive!!! They nickel and dime everything like whip cream is extra 50¢ and they justify that it's homemade. The haute chocolate is $5.30 and it wasn't very memorable, in my opinion except the price being memorable. Adding tomatoes or lettuce to a sandwich is extra. Lovely cafe interior, pastries were delicious and coffee was average. Not much seating but patrons were willing for you to pull a seat and sit with them. I'm so excited to have such a great coffee shop near my house. When I moved here I thought I would only find really good coffee shops in downtown Boston but this place is everything I need. I had some breakfast here and it was delicious. All the sandwiches they make in house are great but the real highlight is the baked goods. The Orange Olive oil cake was insane and the scones are always great. This might be one of the coziest coffee shops I've been to with the exposed and beams and brick walls along with the nice decor they added. The coffee Itself is the real star here though as they use Counter Culture coffee and the Baristas here are very well trained. I love the specialty stuff they do like the Haute Latte. This is everything you would find in downtown Boston but in cute little Concord. read more

I discovered Haute Coffee about 2 weeks ago. It's tucked away off the Main Street so it took me a while to finally notice it. This place has everything I could want in a coffee shop. 1. It's local 2. The coffee is amazing 3. The ambiance has a "Anthropologie" vibe The Haute Latte, made with honey and cinnamon is delicious. And they make all their own pastries. I avoid dairy as much as possible. I was happy that they have both soy and almond milk as a dairy alternative. I think I've found my new favorite coffee house. read more

I keep coming back for their lattes. The people seem genuinely happy to see returning customers. This is NOT your snobby coffee shop. These guys are super friendly and make you feel like they are really pleased to have you come. Seating Inside: There are 3 tables for 2 people, 1 table for 3-4 people, 2 tables for 4-6 people, a bench and a single chair inside. Customers with half-empty tables have been very accommodating when another customer looking for seating asks to join them. Haute Coffee requests no laptops during their lunch service hours (11am-2pm). Seating Outside: There are two small tables, a long bench and a large round picnic table. Outside is a perfect spot for families with strollers or a small group. Kids would have room to play but this is an active small alley, so parents would need to watch for vehicles. read more
