I want to sincerely thank Karin and Lexie at Logix Federal Credit Union. You both were efficient,…read moreprofessional, kind, empathetic, and incredibly hardworking. Your support didn't just help--it saved my home and, honestly, my well-being. I can never fully express how grateful I am. You truly have no idea how much of a difference you made in my life. You're absolute angels. I wish you both nothing but the best in life. Thank you again for everything. After nearly two years of dead ends, somehow--by true grace--an angel introduced me to another angel, who introduced me to these two angels: Karin and Lexie. If you're someone who's in any sort of non-traditional financial situation--don't give up. I personally received over 25 NOs before finding these women. Never stop searching for a solution, even when a loan officer tells you "there's nothing that can be done." Don't believe it. Keep asking. Keep hoping. I encourage anyone in a difficult or complex situation to reach out to Karin and Lexie. They changed my life. - Catherine R.

When I approached…read morethe front desk rep working on 9/4 at 11:00-11:36, I came with the request to simply talk with a loan officer. The exchange that followed was not pleasant and when I noted this to the rep, the response was "that's how you are taking it" which lead me to want to speak with the manager to complete my reasoning for coming in. In the future, if someone is asking that question, what I would have preferred is for them to simply say: "to speak with a loan officer, an appointment is needed. Can I make you an appointment?" I would have made my appointment and came back at the time set. Hope my future interactions with logix reps will be different as this is the location that I would like to go into if ever needed. The three stars is solely for the kind manager that answered my questions and was willing to help following my first interaction.

Switching to a credit union is one of the best financial decisions we've made!! Unlike traditional…read morebanks, credit unions are nonprofit organizations, which means they prioritize their members over profits. This translates to unbeatable interest rates--we financed a used car through Logix, and not only was the process seamless, but they also allowed us to purchase from private sellers like those on Facebook Marketplace. The customer service is exceptional; the staff genuinely cares about helping you succeed financially. The ATM issue always comes up but I feel like it's actually a PERK with Logix, you're not limited to just your credit union's ATMs--they'll even reimburse ANY ATM fees, even in pricey places like Las Vegas when the fee is outrageous. We don't pay fees!! I've also purchased a car with cash when we were outside of the range of another Logix and you can go into another credit unions branch to withdraw large amounts of cash. If you want better rates, better service, and better access, switching to a nonprofit credit union that cares like Logix is absolutely worth it.

The purchase was made on October 26, 2019 for a 2006 Porsche 911s with 17874 miles. I saw the listing on the website and since I live in Northern California. I wanted to get as much information from the dealership as possible prior to committing to such an expensive purchase of this vehicle. Randy assured me that he was a Porsche specialist. After my interactions and poor customer service. I have concluded that he is a used car salesman. We negotiated an agreed on a price prior to me committing to travel down to Southern California to see and test drive the vehicle. My goal was to drive the vehicle back if everything checks out. During our discussions and negotiating sessions. I made it clear that I would be traveling to Sherman Oaks area by plane and would be returning home driving the vehicle. This was to ensure that his staff would double and triple check the vehicle for any obvious issues for the journey back home. Randy assured me that the vehicle was in excellent condition and I should not have any problems driving back to the Bay Area. I flew down to Southern Cal on Saturday and took an Uber to the dealership. I met with Randy and started inspecting the vehicle. I pointed out a few things to Randy that I noticed regarding the Porsche. Like most used car salesmen, he had an answer for everything. There were several issues I pointed out. Stone Guard film has black fingerprints on it, the rear lights are off alignment, there are 20% tint on all the windows including the windshield, California law is 70% to be legal. Randy explained that the guard film was an easy fix, the light was a simple adjustment and he didn't have staff in on Saturday to remove the tint from the windows and repair the other issues. He assured me that this was minor and would be resolved at a later date. This concerned me, so I asked again if the car had been double-checked for minor issues prior to me purchasing the car. He again assured me that the car had been checked and everything was fine for me to drive back. I took Randy at his word that the vehicle had been checked and proceeded to complete my paperwork, pay an additional $50 for a specialty plate. After completing the purchase of the car. I went to a nearby gas station to fill-up for the trip home. The Porsche would not restart as I turned the key. Nothing! I kept trying and trying and finally heard a click and got the car started. I drove directly back to the dealership and told Randy about the starting issue. He starts messing around and told me that this is a common problem and easy to be fixed. Unfortunately, there is no staff around and he cannot get it done until Monday. He assures me that I will have no problem driving back just as long as I don't turn off the engine if I need to purchase additional gas just to be sure. The following is what I have learned about the vehicle after taking to a reputable company to inspect it. Sport Trend Auto is considered a Carfax advantage dealer and it is protected with a Carfax buy-back guarantee. This means absolutely nothing since the Carfax buy back is only for the person/company that paid for the Carfax and since the dealership provided you with one, you are not protected. In addition, you are only protected 90 days, and reporting to Carfax could take as long as 2 years. The vehicle was a repo as evidence shown. Therefore, the issue with the vehicle starts is not from the part that Randy claimed to be a known issue. It was diagnosed by Porsche dealer as the key fob. The one key that randy gave me to the car was a clone from an aftermarket source, not an OEM key as the chip was cloned. A clip was also missing from the key fob thus making the key loose and difficult to push in. The Porsche was also used for track racing, there were extensive minutes in zone 5 under the VAL report. VAL report is what Porsche used to determine if there are excessive over-rev of the engine thus will void any warranty under the service agreement outline. There are signs of modified suspension and body damages along the side skirts, the engine cover was replaced as photo shown. Many parts of the vehicle been resprayed. Bondo were discovered along the side near to the wheel wells. Both side mirrors have been resprayed and damages to the left door were evidence since many parts within the door shown from aging and not from a vehicle that has 17874 miles. Possibly is a junkyard door panel replacement since the side mirror control unit needed to be replaced along with the window track. The stone guard cannot be pulled out because it was installed before the re-paint was set, evidence shown that the whole rear has body damages which are not reported to Carfax. There were 2 layers of window tints and both needed to be removed to meet compliance

The employees handling the loans are unprofessional and don't take their job seriously. I had applied for an auto loan, met all requirements of becoming a member, opening an account and submitting all documents needed. David was assigned to assist with my auto loan, which he provided barely any assistance at all actually. I submitted all required documents the same day they were asked for, only to be told DAYS later that they were not viewable because they weren't able to load properly on the website...? When it came down to the day I had set aside in my schedule to visit the dealership, I was blatantly ignored by First Entertainment. I called that day and spoke with Miguel (who had prior helped me before due to David constantly being unavailable) he told me to give some time for David to call me back, if David didn't call me back then he would help me. I never received a call back as expected, yet when I decided to call and try to reach either David or Miguel on their extension, I was suddenly being sent straight to voicemail. I called again and spoke to a representative who answered the phone and asked to have my auto loan transferred to a different associate, was told i'd receive a call back and never did. As of today I am closing out my account and membership! The entire process was the worst I've could've ever dealt with, with any credit union or even bank. Absolutely unprofessional and poor all around. DO NOT waste your time here.

Natually, she received no return calls, so I phoned them one day and told them, "This is [wife's name]'s husband. We are coming over tomorrow to pick up her car, which she brought in several days ago. Kindly have it ready for us." I drove her over there, and they returned the car without any fuss (we just showed them the paperwork). In fact, they hadn't done any work at all on it, so there was no charge. (Not that I wouldn't have disputed it if there had been.) You'd think that was the end of it, but a couple of days after we got her car back, my wife needed to put something in the trunk. She opened it, and there were several boxes of computer paper! Not only had Galpin done no work on the car, they casually used it for storage. I suppose we could have just kept the paper (or given it away), or at least charged them a storage fee, but we decided it wouldn't be worth the bother. We returned the paper to them.
