They don't mess around! Lol

The Good: 1. The trail takes about 30-40 minutes to walk so my fitbit goal of 12,000 steps was achieved! 2. Staff gave my friend a birthday shoutout... The Bad: 1. We waited in line, on a Saturday night, almost 2 hours. (It goes by really quickly when you've gulped down a couple bottles of champagne). 2. About $20 overpriced. Well over $50 for 2 people to get their workout on... The Ugly: 1. The staff's costumes looked to be from the "picked over" selection at the dollar store. Cheap and not impressive.... 2. Maybe 3 scares total. No jumping out, no nothing. Yes, I get it, we have to be careful during Covid 19 but there are many ways to scare the pants off of people without getting close. 3. There are a few small shacks you walk through on the trail. No flickering lights, no music. The perfect spot to frighten someone unsuspecting...but no....NOTHING. The reviews were exceptional, so we gave this place a try. They HAVE TO BE "pre-COVID-19" experiences....

This "haunted house" is actually a tail through the shrub-land along Lake Lewisville. Parking for this venue is located at the Blue Sky Soccer Complex, which is also where you pay the $20 admission fee. They will also guide you to where the trail entrance is. Be sure to wear proper foot attire, and if you are easily spooked, I would suggest bring a flashlight. They do provide you with a flashlight upon entry, but it is pretty dark out there. That was actually the scariest part of the walk - the darkness. There are a few "actors" who are dressed up and jump out of the woods or follow you and your group around, but no one is very scary. There are a few structures you have to walk though, and that was pretty fun. There is one structure at the end that I can only describe as what it must feel like to walk through a fleshlight. No, that is not a typo. We went here the weekend before Halloween and waited in line to get in for too long. An employee at the front lets in groups one at a time and issues your group's flashlight. I'm not sure if this haunt was short-staffed the night I went or if everyone was on a break, but there weren't many actors jumping out of the bushes. It was more of a night nature walk. I was on the look-out for alligators rather than spooks. For $20, and a long-ass drive out to the sticks, I expected a bit more. If you want to drive far away for a real scare, there are much better places to go.

It's was fun but not . It was only scary at the begging and other than that no. It was just a dark trail in the woods.

Parking is a nightmare. We stood in line just so we could stand in another very long line. We only…read moresaw 3 Porta potties, which didn't have toilet paper. We had to walk through a muddy trail, which trashed my shoes. When you leave the main haunt, we had to wait in line to exit, they never told us the wait was for one of the other attractions. The actors did a good job staying in character, but It was overall pretty disappointing. I had 2 jump scares in the whole thing. The fact that you no longer go through the house is a bummer. It is all outside. It used to be a fun place to go, but I won't go back again after that experience.

I appreciate all the work that goes into making a haunt however this was disorganized and…read moredisappointing. The parking lot is very small and cars were waiting long times just to enter. We waited in 2 lines to get in, then waited again to get out. There are no employees or signs stating that you have to wait to get on the zombie attraction with the paintballs so everyone just waits at the very end in a long line. We were expecting a big scare at the end however it just...ends. The Porta potties are not clean, no toilet paper or hand sanitizer to be found. There is also an odor of pee around the entire property (not sure, maybe that's just part of the experience??) The actors did a fabulous job of staying in character and we enjoyed the walk in the woods. I do hope that the attraction will improve, there is so much potential!

Great staff. From the parking organization, to getting the tickets, to being directed when to go,…read moreall the way down to every single actor. Nice and respectful people to be running a haunted house. The type who make sure the chainsaw won't actually touch you but are really good at making you think it might. I don't think that a single actor failed to make me scream or jump or both simultaneously. Moving from room to room was smooth with help of the actors. Price was fair. $25 for like 15-25 min depending on how fast you run! The props, makeup, costumes, mechanics, and all technicals that went into this house were mind blowingly good. I couldn't believe they had so many different things that could scare me. The ONLY things I'd hope to see them improve on is lighting and their use of space. There were moments I felt like I couldn't take a step bc I didn't know what was in front of me, due to fog and bright lights pointed at my eye line. As well some of the passages were hard to get through as far as the width of the hallways. I understand bright lights and small spaces are scary and I see the idea. I just think if the fog and direction on the lights were regulated a little differently, things would have been slightly easier to navigate. In addition, the crawl space you have to crawl through I feel could be a deal breaker for some customers, as well as the narrow hallways. Obviously, these are only suggestions and I truly hope to see this haunted house succeed, I have lots of faith!

The place smelt like cat pee. We were told twice that we were not going to be touched at all, but…read morelow and behold we're touched multiple times, by none other than the owner, who then proceeded to get into an argument saying "I'm the owner if you don't like it then leave" quite literally what I'm trying to do. You will be walking in a single file line the entire time, with some very small spaces to fit through. There's 2 points where you'll be crawling, we went to hangman's right before this and that is WAYYY more worth the money! This was an absolute waste of $25 dollars. At no point was anyone in my group scared at all, it was more irritating because the entire place is filled with smoke in which makes your eyes burn like no other. I absolutely do not recommend.
