I came here last month to attend a Christian women's conference named Share The Arrows. The venue…read moreis big and get a bit chilly indoors. The employees were helpful and friendly during the process to get into the event center and to find my seats. Share the Arrows was a beautiful, uplifting and inspriring experience. The praise and worship by Francesca Battistelli was beautiful. I am so grateful I was able to attend and my friend had a wonderful time as well. The attendees were some of the kindest people I have met. We enjoyed getting to meet women from all over America. I love that this event had numerous panels ranging from apologetics to motherhood. There were plenty of vendors throughout the venue. We enjoyed getting to talk to the various business owners and purchased a couple of items. I look forward to attending Share the Arrows next year.

Went here for the first time to see a concert. Really liked how the parking garage is right across…read morethe entrance and is free. They're also employees directing traffic, although they weren't the best, it was nice to have someone there help out with all the pedestrians crossing. We got to park pretty easily in about 5 to 10 minutes so it wasn't too much of a weight. The venue itself is pretty small usually just like 100 sections and then the floor as well as a few box suites right above the 100 sections. So it felt like a pretty intimate venue. We have floor tickets so it was pretty crowded, but also people were pretty respectful. We kind of stood towards the back. The audio was pretty good overall and I really like how they had to really large video screens on the left and right side above the stage. The employees were pretty efficient and nice overall too. Didn't end up buying any drinks or food since it was a pretty late concert and the prices were kind of pricey We left pretty early so that we wouldn't have to fight the parking garage traffic, anyway we left in the middle of the second to last song. Definitely would recommend this as we were out of the garage in less than two minutes.

I had no idea this little gem of an amphitheatre was hidden away in Plano, right on Spring Creek…read more It butts up to a nature preserve, so it's nice and quiet... until the music starts :) My dad first stumbled on to this place about 4 years ago when there was a Beatles tribute night: 3 Beatles tribute bands. One night. Here, at the Plano Stages Amphitheatre. Ever since then, we've gone pretty much every year. While their concert calendar is extremely limited, if any of the events sound interesting, I highly recommend you check it out. This place is really cool. Parking on either side of the amphitheatre is totally free, and tickets are cheap! If you come out and join us for the Beatles night, buy your tickets ahead of time. They've sold out the past couple years (we only barely got tickets 2 years ago). Inside, they have some food available for purchase (burgers, hot dogs, sodas, etc)... But the really awesome thing is that you can bring your own! Roll in your cooler with whatever floats your boat: We usually do sandwiches, but we've seen everything from fried chicken buckets from KFC to fancy wine and cheese plates. And yes, you can BYOB into the amphitheatre. Bring in your favorite lawn chair (the ones that fold up are the easiest to manoeuver) and your favorite snacks and beverages... and prepare to have fun! Get there early to stake out the best spot. And I will fight you if you try to take the spot my dad and I always get. For some reason, they haven't had the same Beatles tribute bands (read: cover bands) every year. The first couple years, they had American English, a band out of Chicago, who has elaborate costume changes, etc. The second couple years, they had Hard Night's Day (whom I LOVE and am friends with on Facebook), a local Dallas Beatles tribute band who've been at it for years now. They played a really really good show a couple of years ago, and even ended it with some non-Beatles music which was unexpected and fun. This year they had Me and My Monkey, whom I'd never seen before. Due to work schedules and generally being busy, we didn't get to go this year. I think this venue is available for rental. All of the info for that is on the city of Plano's website. Hopefully, the concert series they'll do next summer is going to be good. I wish they'd extend the season and do some more bands. I know I'd be there! It's a lot of fun for the whole family--- at the Beatles events, there are people in attendance ranging from a year old to 60+. Super awesome time.

Awesome park to come out and walk, jog, or run out! Come solo, bring some friends, enjoy the…read moreoutdoors!
