This last visit we were buying a suit for our 2 year old. I never looked at a price tag and never flinched about swiping my CC for $220 that will get worn maybe twice. But hearing the comments the associates made about my son when he left the store crossed the line. I returned an hour later and told them I was cancelling my order. They sad nothing to save the sale. Good for them, because thry would have gotten an ear full. I will walk in there from now on and window shop. I will not support this store. If I need too, I will buy online.

However, that was not the case here! They were sweet, and even gave my sister a discounted item for something that was stained. Now for the state of the shopping: the racks are so tight that you can't easily browse the racks, there are trash bags stacked in the front of the store and by the stairs. And they were still accepting donations as if they had room for them! I love the selection that they do have, but the racks are unorganized and hard to look through. Sizing on racks is barely marked but the color coordination is nice! It's rare that I come here due to this, but it's nice if you have a lot of time to dig through. A nice place, but it's just hard to shop here.

I tried on a few outfits before purchasing anything. Surprisingly, the dressing room was dirty. There were used tissues/napkins on the wooden seat and floor. I almost did not want to touch anything that is the level of uncleanliness that was going on in there. I tried on my outfits and placed what I did not want in the restocking area. Since one of the dresses was too big, I went to the rack to look for the smaller size. I never looked at the dress to inspect it for damages etc., I only looked at the size. I purchased this item for an upcoming vacation, so I did not remove the items from the bags until about three weeks later while I was packing. At that time, I observed that not only was the slit in the back ripped straight up the seam, but the tag appeared crumbled almost like someone had worn and returned it. I tried calling the store, but they do not have a phone. I called Zara's customer service and the mall to determine if they had a direct number. The bottom line is that Zara stores cannot be contacted directly. I knew that the item was still eligible for return, but I still wanted to speak to someone about it. Thankfully, I returned the item without a problem, but not being able to reach someone locally was frustrating. If I purchase in store again, I will be sure to fully inspect all items before purchasing.

I was told that I would have to pay an additional 4.95 to ship the correct size even though that's what I originally order. The manager Murano told me there was NOTHING she could do. So now 4.95 for an order they shipped incorrectly and another 4.95 for the correct size (hopefully) and the price of gas. Beyond irritating. DO a better job ZARA.

I like that the Gymboree is in a quieter side of the mall. I though this location was a bit of a…read moremess and I did not particularly like the round check out area... it could be under construction or just plain back to school shopping. The lady working there was great, very helpful, friendly and patient. I like the clothes as usual from Gymboree and I like the variety here as well. People should not be turned off by the prices because they are constantly introducing new lines and moving others to discounted section... However, occassionally if you really like something, you should just do it because it may not be left.
