Walking down the brick road and bopping into stores is what this past Sunday consisted of. The prices were a bit pricey for something a child will outgrow super fast, but the quality looked and felt up to par with the prices. The whole store was basically 50% off so they run deals! The girl working was very welcoming and approachable. If I lived in the area, I know my niece and nephew would be rockin' some of their digs.

Brought the clothes back within 1 week and was not allowed to return. They also don't offer store credit. My husband went to return and was told I had 7 more days to come and pick other things for exchange. The fact that I'm 7 months pregnant and can't come back myself due to my work schedule did not matter to the owner. The no-return policy was not posted, and I was never informed of it, before or after I made my purchase. Also, the items are deceptively priced, which is why I was hoping to return in the first place. Lastly, good luck exchanging! They don't maintain good inventory, so if you're looking to exchange for sizes, they probably don't have the size you need. I would not recommend shopping here, but especially don't buy gifts here. You are setting a mom up for a very unpleasant experience when she tries to return something or exchange it. I can't believe a business can run this way and still stay open. This last visit we were buying a suit for our 2 year old. I never looked at a price tag and never flinched about swiping my CC for $220 that will get worn maybe twice. But hearing the comments the associates made about my son when he left the store crossed the line. I returned an hour later and told them I was cancelling my order. They sad nothing to save the sale. It was my first time visiting the store because I typically purchase online. In terms of trying on…read moreclothes, shopping in the store is much better. I tried on a few outfits before purchasing anything. Surprisingly, the dressing room was dirty. There were used tissues/napkins on the wooden seat and floor. I almost did not want to touch anything that is the level of uncleanliness that was going on in there. I tried on my outfits and placed what I did not want in the restocking area. Since one of the dresses was too big, I went to the rack to look for the smaller size. I never looked at the dress to inspect it for damages etc., I only looked at the size. I purchased this item for an upcoming vacation, so I did not remove the items from the bags until about three weeks later while I was packing. At that time, I observed that not only was the slit in the back ripped straight up the seam, but the tag appeared crumbled almost like someone had worn and returned it. I tried calling the store, but they do not have a phone. I called Zara's customer service and the mall to determine if they had a direct number. The bottom line is that Zara stores cannot be contacted directly. I knew that the item was still eligible for return, but I still wanted to speak to someone about it. Thankfully, I returned the item without a problem, but not being able to reach someone locally was frustrating. If I purchase in store again, I will be sure to fully inspect all items before purchasing.

I was told that I would have to pay an additional 4.95 to ship the correct size even though that's what I originally order. The manager Murano told me there was NOTHING she could do. So now 4.95 for an order they shipped incorrectly and another 4.95 for the correct size (hopefully) and the price of gas. Beyond irritating. DO a better job ZARA.

The lady working there was great, very helpful, friendly and patient. I like the clothes as usual from Gymboree and I like the variety here as well. People should not be turned off by the prices because they are constantly introducing new lines and moving others to discounted section... However, occassionally if you really like something, you should just do it because it may not be left.

So I lug this big box while pushing a double wide umbrella stroller packed with 15 month old twins to the register (neither two of the employees I passed asked to help, not that I'm not able bodied and couldn't handle my task, but it would have been a nice gesture). When I tried to use my coupon I was told that I had to wait 24 hours to use it (it expires in 48). I immediately got upset. I admit I was having a rough day to begin with, amplified by two impatient tots, the lack of assistance I received, the time and energy I had invested in this dumb coupon and finally being told my efforts were useless after following the direction of an associate. I just sternly threw a tantrum and said "Fine! I'll just load the kids up and get it cheaper elsewhere!". I was that customer. Yeah. The jerk. The lady behind the counter, her name was Angie, without missing a beat, apologized to me for the confusion and said not to worry and that she would "hook me up". This woman didn't bat an eye at my childish behavior. She went right to the solution. I don't know what she did that saved me 20%, but she made it happen. She offered to help me get my box and kids to my car. Gave me a coupon for a binky that I forgot and had to go back and get. The point is, this woman turned my entire day around. She went out of her way to make my day better and had no idea the impact she was having on me. She could have just let me walk out while calling me names under her breath. But she didn't. And she wasn't even that "I'm sarcastically smiling and being nice to you because if I'm not I'll lose my job" nice to me. She was 100% cool to me. Love Buy Buy Baby so much that I make the drive to either this location or Fredericksburg several…read moretimes a year. I mean, those iconic 20% off coupons are worth it. They also have the best registry discount. And, this is the only place where you can go to see top of the line strollers in person and "test drive". This is also the only restroom I'll go to at Potomac Mills, thanks to the awesome nursing room area and clean bathrooms. This is a great place where I like to go to decompress after a day of shopping.
