I had my husband pick up the order. It wasn't ready at the time they said. My son had an appointment that was thirty minutes away. He had to take him there and return at a later time. When I saw the shirts, I was very disappointed. They looked like they had been washed and dried several times. The colors were not vivid/looked very ashy and the colors were cracked. I booked Amaryllis for my wedding kind of on quick notice--like 2 weeks left. Going into my meeting…read morewith them, I knew that they were the "Best in town" and that for that alone I would be paying a premium. I was lucky to meet with Rick the owner and he dedicated an hour to our meeting which I appreciated. Looking back though I feel like I got juiced for what I ordered...all in season flowers and 4 mains centerpieces of tightly packed carnations. I hit a snafu with my venue which caused me to delay my "request" by a couple of days so Rick said" woops sorry now we have to charge you an extra $200 for a rush fee"....a rush fee for carnations? tulips? and roses???? Honestly, if you are lucky to have more time than I do, I would recommend doing more comparison. In retrospect I should have been more prepared for the premium. I would have given them a additional star if I didnt feel so juiced like when I explained to him that my HEAD table should have a more substantial centerpiece but instead I got small little vases with rose, tulip, and gerber daisy buds. Looked pretty---but not for the price. The head table was something I had specified to be special and was not delivered. One plus though is they created a very nice looking chuppah. I'm trying to be fair in this review....so I'll sum it by saying very pretty BUT overpriced. Wish I could post pictures so you could see what I got for the price. And I would tell them to chill back on such ridicuolous "rush fee" that other florists wouldnt impose. On that alone, I would never go back to them to plan my corporate or social events.

On three occasions, SSC replied to my requests for services from another company. The first time I…read morewas incredibly confused. Thought I had gotten hacked, so I tried a second time to contact that other company another way - again, I heard from SSC. I told the person that it seemed shady, and then they stopped texting me (which seemed even more shady). Then I looked up the websites and found that one of SSC's founders was the current communications manager at the other company. After I blasted that other company on Google (I got a really testy, unprofessional reply - I wonder from whom...?), I decided to try one last time to reach out to the first place. A third time, SSC reached out. None of this was giving me better vibes, but at my spouse's request, I let it play out. Spoke to a REALLY NICE person as SSC, and emailed to make an appointment for someone to do an in-person home inspection. I was disappointed that I had to make it three weeks after talking to them, but thought that it might be a positive measure of how sought-after they may be. When the day came for the home inspection: no call, no text, no email, and NO VISIT. SMH, SSC! I wish I could give a 0/5.

I was across the way at Hi Brow and found him by chance. This guy is a life saver! I moved here recently from Florida and have come to realize how expensive tailoring is here. This place charges $10 for pants and zippers are $15. That's a great deal! I needed a zipper change on my dress and have been quoted $35 and up! The dress was $25! No way was I paying more than the dress. The zipper worked, but the bottom part would just come apart for no reason so I was told many times it had to be replaced. He saw my dress, sewed a certain part of it and bam! My dress no longer has zipper issues. I asked how much and he told me not to worry about it. Took him less than a minute, but anyone else would've charged at least a few bucks. Honesty and folks not trying to make a fast buck is very hard to find nowadays. I'll be coming back here for ALL my tailoring needs!

We hired her after booking the venue and I wish we'd waited to get her input because she probably would've saved us money in the long run by going with a smaller hotel. Kay came to the table with a long list of recommended professionals, and all of the vendors she recommended were excellent. Kay was great to work with; she's friendly and easy going, which made it easy to discuss choices with her. She is professional and able to quickly assess what we wanted based on her many years of experience. She was ready and able to solve most all our problems, but also ready to bring different views and approaches to the discussion in order to find a good solution. Her recommendations for lighting and décor were very high style; I'd trust her and her team with any of my events.
