Made it here at 6:50, not realizing they close at 7pm. I was denied service, as the two ladies working there told me they wouldn't be able to wrap my gift in 7 minutes. Although that may be true, if a customer enters a store before closing time, they should be served or at least helped in a considerable way. Pay these ladies more so they don't hate their job and want to leave ten minutes before closing. read more

Paper Source is such a dangerous store if you're like me who'll buy anything pretty and sparkly and fun whether you need it or not. I could spend hours and hundreds in here. They're all so beautifully laid out and things are grouped perfectly so you're mesmerised by everything. From games to books to pens to beautiful wrapping paper to cards and everything in between, I honestly could just walk around for a half day and be fascinated by it all. The girl at this location was helpful and friendly. Their stock is pretty well priced and parking wasn't too hard. I will definitely come back and recommend it to anyone who loves nice trinkets and bits and bobs. read more

Bottom Line: A fun place to indulge in paper products and gifts. Paper Source is located in the Annapolis Towne Centre. As the name implies, they sell lots of paper products - fancy wrapping paper, tissue paper, gift tags, cards and such. I certainly don't buy all of my wrapping supplies at Paper Source but I do like the selection for special occasions. I also like to look at their paper craft kits and calendars. Aside from paper, Paper Source also sells tons of fun gifty items like mugs, novelty pens, silly sunglasses, stuffed animals and such. On my recent post-Christmas 40% haul I picked up gift bags, puzzles, novelty dish towels and some other goodies. The staff is generally welcoming and helpful. Parking at the Annapolis Towne Centre can be a pain on a busy weekend but I just ask my awesome husband to dump me out curbside in front of Paper Source. read more

I love Paper Source! It's a little pricey but if you want your office or friendly gift to stand out this is your go to place! From trendy notebooks and planners to cynical self help inspirational books and trinkets, mugs, candles, socks, gag gifts, oven mittens/towels etc...seasonal themed nick knacks...gift bags, wrapping paper, posted notes, colorful pens, candy whatever have you...they have it all. The paper source is my happy place. I love sending hand written notes and am obsessed with their selection of greeting cards and thank you notes. I have taken some of their classes prior to covid and learned a bunch of great techniques on making my own cards. You can use the beautiful loose paper they sell to make envelopes and liners. I love their holiday decorations, calendars, wrapping paper, rubber stamps, and stationary. This store in particular has really good sale section and party decoration section. The staff is super friendly and helpful but give you your space. The store was less busy than usual due to covid and they didn't seem to need to have any specific precautions due to lower traffic. Love this place. It is definitely first on the list if you want (or need) specialty wrapping paper, boxes or supplies. They also have a huge selection of "Greeting Cards". Friendly staff and quality items. We found this awesome neon rainbow light on sale there. We love the ambiance and lighting it provides in our home. So random to find it there but you never know what you'll see when you stop by. Totally worth a visit. read more

We went to Paper Source to look at getting personalized stationary for our wedding and thank you cards. They have a whole section for stationary and we spent some time looking through everything and saw things we liked, but we were pretty confused with how things worked. We stood around trying to figure it out and then trying to catch some staff member's attention but none of them even looked at us. There were three staff members working and they spent the whole time huddled at the check-out desk talking to each other. We were probably there for 15 minutes and even though they said hi to us when we came in, they never acknowledged us again (and the store was empty except for us). We could have gone up to them, interrupted their conversation, and asked them for help, but if they didn't care, we figured we'd just go somewhere else. Overall, I really enjoy stopping in Paper Source in general, but didn't have a great experience here and we will probably just check out other places online. read more

I got a text this morning that the calendar I've been wanting is on sale from Paper Source. They even said they had store pick up available! I drove to my local store today in Annapolis to pick up the calendar and when I walk in one of the two women behind the counter say hello. From then on, the two women proceed to stand behind the counter and talk to one another the entire time I am in the store, the only customer - for probably 15-20 mins ignoring me completely. I grab the one calendar I drove there for and a card. I tell the women behind the counter that I saw the calendars are on sale... She proceeds to tell me that they are buy one get one free, then she proceeds to tell me that they're not on sale at all. I pull up the sale price on my phone and show her the price it is online with store pick up available and she says she can't match the price. I've never heard of a more difficult and non- customer service oriented policy where a retail establishment won't even match their own prices. There are tons of calendars out there. Sale lost and customer lost. Complete waste of time and I would rate zero stars if it was an option. I will not be back, in person or online. read more

Who knew there was such a strong future past the American Card and Hallmark fizzle? Paper Source is so much more than just paper. They have quirky cards and gifts galore....great for my girlfriends and co-workers who are obsessed with sticky notes and office supplies. There are wonderful little presents here for every occasion. I think I'll make a gift basket the next time an occasion arises. Don't forget that brides can order their wedding cards here too. Stay away from the boring stuff and send out something that shows your character and personality. Yay Paper Source! read more

I am a huge fan of paper source, I originally just shopped online not knowing that they had actual store fronts...near me! I love this place, yes they are pricey but most of the items are niche and they are hard to come across in other stores. The card selection is second to none, they have a card for literally every occasion. They also have the cutest gift wrap, from paper, bags, tissue paper, ribbon, etc. Of course they have a wide variety of crafting tools from scrap booking, lettering, flower papers, stamps, etc. My two favorite things from Paper Source are the calendars/agendas and gifts. It was because of Paper Source that I had to step up my calendar/agenda game from not only the source itself but also the writing utensils. They have such a wide variety to fit every need and of course each of them unique and special. Yes, they're expensive but I feel like if you're shopping here...you're 1) serious about what you're doing 2) know what you're getting yourself in to. The store is decorated above and beyond for each season/holiday; I love coming in here when there is new merchandise. They are so good in keeping up and marketing their products so that you walk out with everything you come in contact with. The staff here are friendly and helpful, I am always greeted when walking in, checked on while moseying around, and upon check out they are always good about ensuring that I found everything and making last minute recommendations that I am all too eager to take advantage of. They also offer classes here that I have been dying to try, but have not yet been able to make it. read more

I get lost in this place. Really. Lost. The paper, the textures, the glitter, the ideas... amazing. I just want to start pulling stuff out and making things. It's really inspiring to see all the creative projects I could start. And I always end up buying something with the thought that I'll have some time to be creative and make these really neat thing-a-bobs and what-nots. The store associates are bubbly and helpful. Paper Heaven! I love this place, the selection, the ideas are just flowing. They have many workshops and if you can't make those they leave all the workshop pieces on display and have little ideas for all the stamps and glitter and paper everywhere. If you plan on making your own cards for events - this is the place to do it. We have made our birth announcements, baby thank yous, Christmas cards etc from stuff we get here. They have a great staff that is always helpful in getting you situated and the right stuff (like buying the right envelope with your cards). It's awesome! read more

I wish the manager of this store would train the "youngsters" to say "thank you" when one makes a purchase. Customer service is not the customer saying thank you for allowing me the opportunity to shop here. It is saying a gracious thank you for your business. It would certainly go a long way with me. The products are nice and the merchandise is a bit different which is why I like the store. However, I am sure there are other places around. If service doesn't improve, I'm not going back. read more

Took a class over the weekend I would take one if you have two hours to spare. Before I would browse the store for something to jump out on me. Now the possibilities are endless. You can really get customized invitations, letters, etc that really have a wow effect without spending a fortune. read more

This store is just wonderful! They always have such great bags, tissue, cards, ribbon and so on, everything I am looking for each time.
