It was not too busy. There were only three people in the customer service/returns line. It's well posted and we even had an employee come over and confirm we were there for Kohl's returns, because the Amazon returns was around the corner. I thought that was very kind. They have good brands to include Nike, Addidas, and Under Armor stuff. For women of any size there seems to be an adequate selection. But for the boys I wasn't as satisfied. They didn't have any Van's shirts (which is what I was hoping to exchange), but there was some shoes. I was able to get a few cute cammo girls shirts for our daughters and there was plenty of Christmas clearance. The store is clean, parking is easy, and they are spraying down everything after every customer. I was pleased with the level of precaution they are taking.

What a stupid mistake, especially since this plaza was a bit wonky. I came in here to honestly grab some essentials that I didn't necessarily have to have, but since I was out, why not get what I need and be done with it. Even though it was busy in here, I was still able to find what I needed and not feel rushed about it. However, when it came to checking out, there was a larger than expected line. I didn't mind, I was here for a reason, to waste some time and get some items. I had my airpods in and was minding my business. Get to the head of the line at the self checkout area and had the most pleasant discussion with the lady manning the area. She should be in a different line of work. Approaching people and just having a leisurely conversation with them. She had a gift which made for a nice end of a shopping trip.

This Goodwill is in a great location. It's clean and organized. I really like the extra discount through their Goodwill Rewards 50% discount color code system. This week's color was BLUE. We enjoy thrifting and find there's never enough time to search for new treasures. But, we liked this visit! The cashier was friendly and organized in ringing us out. The women's restroom room has two stalls and although the first stall's door didn't have a working lock, the door managed to stay closed while in use. Thank goodness! The restroom was clean, so, all good. We're glad we carved out time to visit this Goodwill location. We'll keep it in mind on a future trip to the area.

I was looking at dresses when Smitty (Ahira Smith) walked over and asked if I needed help. I instantly bursted into tears because she was the first person to offer help in all of the stores I went into. She helped me get myself together and I explained I had purchased a black blazer and I was looking to put a dress under the blazer. I had already had one in mind and she told me to get my blazer so we could see if it was a good match which it was. She helped me get in and out of the dress and make my purchase. She told me the job was already mine, gave me an hug and that helped put my mind at ease. I also witnessed her giving another customer the same attentive customer service that she gave me. I will definitely be back to this location for future purchases just because Smitty left a lasting impression on me. Thank you again.

I had an extremely disturbing experience at this location and will not be returning unless serious…read morechanges are made. When I entered the store, the sales associate did not acknowledge me at all -- no greeting, no offer of help. As I walked through the store, she followed me closely from section to section, including into the fitting area where there were additional sales items. However, when two white women entered the store shortly after, the same associate immediately greeted them and offered assistance. When I approached the register to request the store manager's contact information, the assistant manager identified herself and I calmly explained what had occurred. At that point, the associate claimed she never even noticed me -- despite having followed me around the store the entire time. As I was leaving because I no longer felt welcome, the associate became hostile and yelled at me, stating that she "gets along with the assistant manager" who happens to be Black," which was completely inappropriate and deeply revealing. I am a Black woman. The associate is white. The customers who were greeted and assisted were white. The difference in treatment was clear. I was made to feel watched, unwelcome, and devalued as a customer. What I was wearing -- leggings and a hoodie -- should not determine whether I am treated with basic dignity or assumed to be suspicious. I hold a LOFT credit card and was fully prepared to shop. This was not just poor customer service. It was biased treatment that requires immediate attention. The associate needs serious customer service and bias training, and store leadership must address how this situation was handled. No customer should ever leave a store feeling humiliated, profiled, or unwelcome. I did.
