I also liked looking at the various products from the J.O. Spice Company. I come from a family of commercial crabbers and this might come as a shock to some but JO, not Old Bay, is our preferred crab seasoning. But J.O. isn't just for crabs and they offer spice blends and other stuff like chicken rubs, crab cake mixes and steamed shrimp seasoning. Aside from the above, I also enjoyed looking at cards, soaps, Scout bags, novelty salt and pepper shakers and such. My husband and I visited several years ago and I am now the proud owner of a beautiful Seacret Oyster can that transports me back in time to when oyster harvesting and packing was such a big business in Maryland that many cities were built upon the shucked shells! On my most recent visit I was checking out the selection of oyster plates and some cool croquet clubs and balls. The store is packed so there is a lot to take in. The owner is always friendly and conversational but not overbearing. She takes great pride in what she has in store and is glad to share her knowledge about it.

This place is setup in the typical "vendor stall" setup that's common with antique multi-stores where each little booth is a separate seller. Overall it provides a better experience for the customer with a plethora of different vendors and things to peruse. Sometimes these larger malls are a little bit cumbersome to navigate and I find myself thinking "oh crap, have I done this room yet?" but Antique Alley was kind enough to have arrows on the floor to direct you through their space, to make sure that you were able to see everything and not have to double back.
