My love and I called this "The Hippie Place" Not only because it has some sweet smells inside that reminds us of earthy head shops back in the 70s But more so I think because of the unique, handmade, earthly things found therein. The first sign that you're going to enter a different kind of store is the giant rainbow peace flag outside. It sets the tone for happy times to come. Inside you will find glassware, wallets and purses ,make up bags, some home decor,gift items,scents and incense, really cool Tee's and hoodies, fun signage etc. The inventory is too much to mention but it's definitely worth stopping to look at some of the fun items. Today my purchase consisted of a beautiful blank note card, A blue Agate stone and moon that once home in my living room looks really beautiful on my coffee table. And a VW bus Small bag With a leather strap that is just the perfect size to carry my wallet and phone. All items are high-quality and playful in nature. I LOVED this place. Me and my gf stopped by today on the way home from OC. They have a huge selection of things and they are good quality and not what you would find at any shop like this. The staff were super nice and the cat George roaming around the property was super sweet as well. They even had a wide range of sizes including 4xl and 5xl which is not something you see at most spots. This will definitely be an every trip stop from now on. We spent an hour or so there easily. Everyone needs at least one tie-dye in their drawer and they have a fantastic selection.(Very Inexpensive) For a laugh, ready the review at the bottom from 2013. Found this fun store on the way back from Ocean City. It is a stand alone shop and definitely worth passing through. With a fun name like "Tammy's Cool Things", I obviously had to find out what was so cool about it. The shop is a lot of fun to walk around and they carry a lot of merchandise that is worth taking the detour to check out. Its a lot more unique than your average gift shop, and the prices are reasonable. Its really a must see if you get a kick out of one of a kind "hippy" merchandise. I picked up a fun blanket that I know I will be using at the beach, concerts, and picnics for years to come. The quality is great - and only $20! The owner of the store was very friendly and welcoming. She was easy to have a conversation with, and didn't make us feel pressured at all for time even though we arrived just a few minutes before closing. They also have an attached Smoke Shop in the back - if that is your thing. Lots of pieces that you really don't see other places and the guy back there was a bit quirky but very friendly. read more

Amazing store I must say! They have something for everyone and then some extra on top of that. To clarify they do have two dogs that roam around on a regular basis, both of which are service dogs. I purchased a lava lamp for my 8 yrs old birthday. It stopped working with less than a dozen uses. The owners were very aggressive when I was asking to exchange for a new one. They were however willing to take more money for a new one. Funny enough the manufacturer is willing to exchange and said they would have for the store owners as well. Lesson learned. read more

Such a great shop! It's on Rt. 50, on the right side as you're headed from the shore back to the Bay Bridge, between Cambridge and Easton. There are so many things to look at from clothes (lots of tie dye tshirts, hoodies, tank tops, skirts, dresses and kids/babies tie dye onsies :) to tea, gifts, candy, candles, new age items, games, jewelry, just lots of things. There are 4 rooms inside so wander around and enjoy it. I found a hoodie last week 1/2 off so it was only $18 and I swear it's the softest hoodie I've ever owned. This is probably my favorite cool things store in town. If you're going to splurge, this is the place to do it. The service is prompt but gruff, though id argue that's part of the rustic cool things feel. Our waiter, Tammy, was able to give us some great guidance and was especially helpful pairing cool things with other cool things. Everything you've heard is 100% true and then some! Obviously the tie dye room is the main event and every time I got it's top-notch-colorful and perfectly dyed. Don't skip the dessert! Do not shop at this store! Recently, I was leisurely driving to my destination when I saw the shop and as I was passing it thought that it looked interesting. I turned around, parked my car, got my little change purse/wallet, put on my hat (cool day), saw that the open sign was lit, walked up the steps, and opened the wooden door. I was met by a light colored dog staring at me. The dog did not bark. I stopped with my hand still on the door and did not step into the store. Almost as soon as I noticed the dog, a second dog charged me baring its teeth and voraciously barking. I quickly closed the door, I got in my car, and left. In the brief time that all of this occurred, I did not see anyone. This occurred at around 12:30 p.m. on a Thursday. I have since checked the hours of operation for this business. According to the hours posted online, it is opened during this time and, as noted previously, the open sign was lit and the store's door was unlocked. Needless to say, I was very upset and cannot think what may have happened had I walked quickly into the store or had frozen when the dog charged me. This store is dangerous. As a result of this incident, I will never attempt to shop there! read more
