For starters, the atmosphere is incredible. Lots of seating available and warmly lit (which is very important to some people). The staff are extremely friendly. As for the food/menu; incredible. The Works offers over 50 types of burger topping selections ranging from standard to unexpected, all delicious. Also, with any burger you get the option to choose the type of bun (including a gluten free roll option!) AND the type of "burger" - you gave the choice of beef, chicken, and even the Beyond Burger, making this a wonderful choice for people who don't eat meat or want to try something different. The drink menu is a bit small but doesn't disappoint.

We went to A&W for breakfast with my family while visiting from out of town. The service was a bit…read moreslow, which was surprising for a fast-food restaurant. On top of that, some items on the breakfast menu weren't available to order, which was a bit of a downside. That said, the food we did get was absolutely worth the wait. Breakfast was yummy, filling, and nicely served on a tray, giving us a chance to sit down and enjoy our meal together. I also love how cute this chain is, the teddy bear decorations add a fun touch. I just wish I lived closer to an A&W so I could come back more often!

When I researched places, I came across Munchies and I'm so glad I did! The sweet potato option wasn't a completely ridiculous upcharge either, which I really appreciated. Great food at a great price. The whole place has that wonderful old-school, hometown diner feel, which made it even more enjoyable. The kids absolutely loved the outdoor yard area and had the best time running around and watching the chickens while we enjoyed our food. The poutine was SO delicious. Crispy fries, the perfect amount of gravy, and absolutely massive cheese curds. Every bite was exactly what I was hoping for. An absolute delight of a place. If I lived nearby, I would absolutely be a regular!

We had to wait a long time because there is only one cook and she also takes orders, while the other staff is in training. After we ordered, many other customers came in so she had to take their ordrrs furst before cooking. We ordered at 13:26 and received our order at 13:52. I received my milkshake very late at 14:07. At 14:00, 2 sets of customers were complaining that it was taking over 20 mins for their order, so they want a refund. One customer got their fries but not their burgers. It took them 10 mins to get a refund because she had to call the owner. They told new customers they are no longer taking new orders. Other locations only take 10-15 mins for an order. We ordered the following: 1. Grilled Chicken Fillet ($9.99). 2. Cheeseburger ($9.99). 3. Oreo Milkshake ($6.99). You can choose from a large set of toppings. The chicken fillet was a large size, well worth the price. The chicken was juicy. The burger size was as expected. The outside of the burger was black. I found out it is a smash burger and supposed to be blackened on the outside. It tasted good. The milkshake was good, but I wish it had arrived with the meal rather than 15 mins later. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washroom, which is also wheelchair accessible. There is free parking in the mall's parking lot. There is one high chair for little children. Review 2023-347

We grabbed some takeout and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I went with the Big Smoke Burger, and it was fantastic. Pretty much everything I want in a burger; great flavour, great toppings, and an awesome sauce that really brought everything together. My vegetarian wife got one of the Mozza Burgers, and she really enjoyed hers too. Her only complaint was that she wished there was just a little more sauce because what was on it was delicious. Other than that, she was very happy with it! We also really enjoyed the fries, which were a great addition to the meal. And we really appreciated them throwing in an extra soda for us! We finally understand all the hype now. Great burgers, great fries, and generous service. We'll definitely be back to try more!
