I haven't tried this brand like ever during my 9 years or so of traveling, since I have read online…read morereviews of these properties under this brand. You know, since this Motel property fit the budget parameters, I decided to check this place out just to see what they're all about.
America's best value inn is one of those budget friendly hotel options that you may want to consider applying your next vacation. While this option can be used for stretching your travel dollars to a maximum use, do your research before booking. I was surprised that this property was as decent as a Motel 6. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as bad as they say online I will but you never know with some people. For me, it was a basic but pleasant stay and I would consider looking for another America's best value Inn on future travels. I arrived here for one night in Holyoke, MA on a recent October 2016 stay. This particular hotel does mirror motel 6 a little bit and the accommodations are basic, yet comfortable at the same time. The selling point of America's best value Inn is basically the cost. It's relatively cheap, based on the area you are staying in. For me at this location in Holyoke, Ma, the price was around $69/night. The overall experience here in Holyoke, MA was as decent as ever. Yes, I chose this property for the price and i did look elsewhere to see if I could have avoided this one, but at the end of the day, I wanted to check this property out and I'm pleased with the results.
This particular America's Best Value Inn is located at 671 Northampton Street here in Holyoke, MA. I have stayed in 4 star hotels to the 1 stars, including Motel 6's across the USA, so I know the game. Even motel 6 is pretty decent when it came to basic accommodations and a Roof over your head for a cheap price. It's the same premise for America's Value Inn. While this property isn't for everyone, it can be an option for budget friendly folks who want that extra value for their travel dollar, myself included. They accept credit cards, which is always nice. This Motel is basically one large building with two floors, I believe. They also have private parking lot, but it does seem like they don't have that much spaces. I was glad that I had found a spot next to my room, so I could get in and out with out walking lol. Like some budget motels, they do not offer free breakfast. The wifi is not really good, so I just used my cellular data for the night.
The television worked alright, so I just spent the evening with my Subway footlong sandwich and watched television. Relaxing is the most important thing while on vacation after all. The room itself was small but comfortable. The bed was decently comfortable as well and and I slept around 7 1/2 hours that night. This stay has been a pretty good one and thought that this brand ain't so bad. However, my guess is that it may be franchisee owned and operated, so I can guess that each property will vary in appearance and perceived comfort on everyone who stays here. Like I mentioned before, it's pretty basic. Just a bed and a TV and some furniture. Along with A private shower, that's as basic as you can get without having to pay extra for a basic basic accommodations. If you are into that, without the bells and whistles, this property may be the best fit for you. I have pretty low expectations, but I always value my personal safety when it comes to booking hotels and the brand-name that's associated with it. Plus, it has to be clean too. At the end of the day, it's all about comfort and happiness of the traveler who staying at the hotel. I was good with this day and happy with the basic comforts and accommodations that this hotel had provided me. After all, 7 1/2 hours of uninterrupted sleep after running 26.2 miles over the weekend was epic and blissful. Keeps me sane and happy. :)
4.0 stars for the room and the bed comfort. 4.0 stars for the check in and out service. 4.0 stars for room cleanliness and basic maintenance. 4.5 stars for the cheap rates.
