Company hosted an off site meeting here so I am spending 3 days here & got to know the place well…read more The location is very convenient, right off highway 91. The meeting room is large, all 75 people were no problem with space in the back fit product display. It's hot in the 80s but the air conditioning works well, actually a bit too well & many Europeans complained that it's too cold, we had to up adjust a couple of degrees. The lunch was underwhelming thou, 2 types of wraps with meat & one with veggie, that's it plus a choice of plain vs. BBQ potato chips. It's average place with decent space plus ample parking but it's not s premium joint. You get what you for I guess. If you want a meeting place on a budget, it's worth considering.

Stayed here for business and was really underwhelmed. From the reviews, I figured it would be a…read moretypical Holiday Inn, but the place is really run down. The room smelled of mildew, there was no ironing board to press a dress shirt for the next morning, and only one coat hanger in the closet! Additionally, there was no collapsible stand to place a suitcase, so I had to open my luggage on the desk. The fitness center was ok, but the water cooler was completely empty, so there was no way to hydrate after working out without drinking tap water or buying a bottle of water from the front desk. Or I guess I could have drank the water leaking in from the ceiling and windows on the stairs from the main floor to the first floor where I was staying. Part of the stairwell was blocked off with buckets to catch the water. But the bed was nice, and the Internet was relatively fast for a hotel, so, two stars!

Costing $106.42 for the Friday night, it provided what we needed before an early flight at the nearby airport. I prepaid for the nonrefundable stay through the Choice Hotel website (currently running a promotion with Rakuten for 10.5% cash back on base rate). All the rooms entrances face an indoor hall, for added security (i.e. it's a hotel not a motel). There is a basic (some hot items along with waffle maker) breakfast available in the morning for all guests, along with a dining room to bring in your own food. The room was fine, with two comfortable beds, a working TV with plenty of channels, a 'Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner' with analog temperature controls, a small bathroom with good water pressure tub/shower combo. Wifi is included and worked fine during our stay. Checkout was as simple as dropping the key off, and I did get a receipt (with correct amounts) via email later that checkout day. The hotel does have restaurants within walking distance, including a Cracker Barrel, Burger King, and a Dunkin (pretty much all donut shops in this region are Dunkins).

Despite the Marriott App stating my room was ready, when I got to the hotel they were complaining about a new system. I waited 15 minutes checking in, despite having a confirmed reservation. The check in host definitely needs Customer Service training. Acting as if it my fault they have a new system. They as I finally get a room key, for the 2nd floor, the Elevator is out of service. So there I am lugging up two suitcase to the second floor via the stairs. Now you get to the room, and it's rather run down and dirty. Light switches cracked, stairs on the furniture and desk. Vanity light cord draped over the towel bar that you have to plug in to turn on. No valet laundry bag. Some random electronic item in the TV console that is not even plugged in. There was no extra bed linen for the sofa couch? This hotel needs to get back to JW Marriotts belief and practice of Customer Service.

I'd give half star if I could. Let's start....this past March our softball team blocked off rooms…read morefor a Fast Pitch Nation Softball tournament, we spoke to reservation receptionists and booked our rooms; 2 rooms with queen beds, close to eachother. They made note and we were excited for our trip. Come check in day; we walk in and the receptionist (Justina) was beyond rude. When we asked about the rooms being close together her response was "we don't have them close, one room is on the 1st floor and the other is on the 3rd floor. That's what we have." When I politely asked if there was something she could do to put the rooms closer, she rolled her eyes and said "nope." That's it, no empathy or offers to help." So I left and went down the street to the Double Tree and was provided with 2 rooms, and respectful staff. The majority of our team was staying at the Fairfield we later learned that when the girls were swimming and realized there were no pool towels, they went to ask for some. Justina yelled at them and told them to deal with it, these girls are 11/12 years old; not to mention one of coaches was behind the girls when they got yelled at. After we got settled at the Double Tree, I returned to the Fairfield and politely asked Justina to make sure our reservation was cancelled and we would not be charged; she informed me that she would write a note; mind you, we had a "note" asking for the rooms close...so I will be calling the General Manager Jack Hannum, on Monday, and also calling Corporate. We have traveled with teams and our family for many years and this experience was BY FAR the WORST. EVER. Experience we have had. I'm typically a rational and empathetic person, however, when someone begins the conversation rudely and continues with the level of disrespect, it's not tolerated nor appreciated.
