I had an unpleasant experience with Hartz Chicken in New Camey TX 20125 US Highway 59 June 5, 25 at 8:24 PM I ordered 15pc chicken family feast as advertised on the Packard on the window outside, first the guy who took my order acted like he knew nothing about the family feast deal. as my receipt Transaction #155312 will show I paid for the order at 8:24PM. Did not get the order until 9:10PM. The crew was unorganized, walking around talking did not keep me informed what or why is taking so long, I had to keep asking for an update, when I did get my order, they didn't let the grease I guess because it was greasy and wet. My family nor myself could eat it, I wasted $40 and me and my family went to bed hungry. Don't get me wrong I love Harzt chicken buffet, have for years but the pick-up experience was horrible. read more

Worst service ever. Waited 30 minutes for them to cook me a chicken breast for my chicken breast meal and they gave me a breast and a wing. When I went back in, they told me it would be 20 minutes for them to cook another chicken breast. This place is awful. read more

I read some of the 5 star reviews and I'm sorry but they must either be employees or got free chicken for life to give a 5 star to this location. Went here twice, but once was enough. The only thing and I mean the ONLY thing worth eating is the roll. Maybe it is just this location, but..... First - it is dirty and smells. Could use a serious cleaning. Rude employees. Both times the cashiers don't even greet you, they just stare at you until you order. They don't say thank you or even you're welcome after you say thank you! I did not eat off the buffet either time because the food looks like it has been sitting there for hours! The ice tea containers were empty both times so you have to go ask the rude cashiers for tea. They take the cup and then sit it back down on the counter, no communication. I honestly can't think of anything else to say, except if you want greasy fried chicken and food that looks like it should have been thrown away, go eat there otherwise, go elsewhere. WORST PLACE EVER. I buy food here atleast every 2 weeks for my kiddos since they love there chicken. But there is usually always something wrong with the food. I got macaroni and it smelled rotten. Thankfully my kid only ate a little of it before he told me that it smelled rotten and it did ! What kind of sh** is that. If my son gets sick because of that this restaurant will be hearing something about me and make them shut done their sh**** business. THEY LOST A GOOD CUSTOMER! For sure ! read more

I purchased $25 or more from New Caney Hartz and while checking my order I noticed that they had cut one piece fish into 2 pieces and told me that was the way they always made a 2 piece meal. That means 1/2 piece of fish is $1.75 . I told them it was BS and would never come back. Check your order before you take it home. RIP OFF PLACE !!! read more

This place is terrible!!! Customer service is bad. They discriminate against people who have had stomach surgery! Their only option was buy a meal or pay Buffett price! My food was fresh and piping hot! The chicken tenders are delicious, and you can tell they were marinated. Juicy chicken, yummy rolls, great mashed potatoes, and don't forget to get a side of gravy. Better than any other chicken places in Porter! read more

This location is gross and always dirty. The staff is rude. And it always takes FOREVER to get my order. I sat in the drive thru for 30 minutes one time...only because I had already paid! I gave them too many chances to get it together. I don't believe we'll eat here anymore. read more

Been here multiple times. The place is average priced as far as meals. The only thing I dislike is they make way too much chicken and just have it sitting in the warmer. I ask for fresh chicken every time which is a 10 minute wait. Most of the time when I ask for fresh chicken they make sure it's fresh but there has been a couple times it still wasn't fresh. read more
