Second time at this establishment. First time, was not a fan of the burger my husband and I…read moreordered, but decided to give it one more try. Ordered a 3 piece hot tender basket with fries and white queso Mac and cheese. Now, we're Mexican and can handle some spice but biting into that first tender I just got hit with straight chile powder, no hint of salt or other seasonings. Only ate one tender left the other two alone. Fries were cold, but thankfully the food runner was able to bring us a fresh batch of fries. Queso Mac was ok, didn't love it. The staff seems to need a little more training. When we walked in someone came up to the register who had been waiting for 30 minutes for food. Took the staff a bit to figure out the order. There were only 4 other tables occupied at the time and a number was given to us by the cashier. Shortly after we sat down, the cashier was walking around with two trays of food asking each table if that's what they ordered. Everyone said no, so she walked around asking each table what they ordered. I thought that was the purpose of the assigned numbers, maybe my understanding is wrong. Unfortunately don't think we will be back for a third time.

No complaints there. -The restaurant itself is very clean and I definitely like the tables and chairs. -The food is pretty delicious. The chicken is usually juicy and the sauces options are good. The Mac and cheese with sauces chicken is awesome. I really enjoy the food here. -Lastly, I don't know if this is just a limited time offer, but every time I go in there, I get the Bird Pack which is definitely enough food to feed me, my wife and our two kids and it's only $40! Everywhere you go nowadays to feed a family of four, you're looking at spending a MINIMUM of $60. When compared to Beakys, I can't recommend one over the other because both are tasty but this bird pack keeps me coming back to urban bird many times.

5 Stars - A hidden gem in La Porte!…read more Just tried out Big Mouth Burgers for the first time, and wow -- this place seriously delivers! It might be tucked inside a gas station, but don't let that fool you. The food is legit. I ordered one of their burgers (spicy chicken) and it was stacked with flavor -- fresh veggies, grilled onions, and perfectly toasted sour dough bread. Every bite was awesome. The steak fries on the side were super tasty too. And my friends had curly fries, which were crispy and addicting. I definitely liked those more. They also had 2 house sauce bottles on the table that took things to another level -- definitely try it if you go. The vibes were relaxed and the staff was really friendly, which made the whole experience even better. If you're anywhere near La Porte and in the mood for a solid burger/nachos/wings, check this place out. Big Mouth is officially on my favorites list!

Advertencia: no recomiendo Tortillería Mañá. ENGLISH I found Tortillería Mañá because a paid influencer (Patty Santiago) recommended it. Huge mistake. I've been several times and every visit has the same ugly vibe: rude behavior, cold attitude, and a level of hostility that makes you question why they even open their doors. This morning was the last straw. I waited in my car, watched a man turn the OPEN sign on and flip the door sign from closed to open, so I walked in, assuming they were actually ready for customers. I politely asked for a small sample of chicharrón, and the woman came at me with attitude like I didn't belong there. It was humiliating and completely unnecessary. Also, on a previous visit, two friends got sick after eating their chicharrón. I only ate a little, so I was fine -- but looking back, that was the first warning sign. Terrible service, negative energy, and staff who clearly don't want customers around. There are plenty of places in Houston that treat people with basic respect -- this is not one of them. Buyer beware: I do NOT recommend Tortillería Mañá.

No one was in the drive thru when I arrived, and I entered from the back so couldnt see how many customers were there. The crew member came on pretty promptly to take my order. The intercom was a little scratchy, so he couldnt hear that I ordered dirty rice as a side. He thought I had just ordered the bombers to which he responded if I wanted a double order of them. In all fried meal maybe tempting, but not really, so I stuck with the dirty rice as my 2nd side. The order came out pretty swiftly snd driving home, I was ready to pop jalepano bombers and chicken, but upon opening the box, this yellow powdered substance was at the bottom of the box. I kind of turned my head sideways upon seeing it. Chicken seasoning??? Why sprinkle chicken seasoning on the bottom of the box? Seasoning goes on chicken BEFORE you fry it. Oh Lord, let me pray over this food for sure! Looking at the biscuit, it looked a little dry, so I definetly grabbed some honey from the cupboard to make it more delectable. The dirty rice was mushy, and the jalepano sauce used to dip the chicken reminded me of thousand island--literally--with look and taste. The chicken powdered with yellow dust AKA the chicken seasoning was pretty dry too. The most decent part of the meal was the jalapeno bombers. Jalepanos, cheese, and bread crumbs should not be the best item at a chicken place! I forseee closure to this Cruddy Churchs Chicken in the near future.
