I decided to sit at the bar. There wasn't a lot of deciding I needed to do with the menu. I knew I wanted fried chicken and this was a fried chicken restaurant. I got the 2 piece with baked beans and potato salad. From what I can tell the restaurant had a very friendly environment. The waitstaff brought me my food in a very timely fashion. I tasted my side dishes first and they were really good. I remember the baked beans being very hot temperature wise. The chicken was what I made the trip for and I wasn't disappointed. The chicken was so crunchy and the batter they made it with had a little kick to it. It wasn't spicy but it had a noticeable flavor. I enjoyed every bit of it. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

It has also become our practice that I prepare the mid-day meal, and she prepares our supper in the evening after work. I mention this fact because, at least once a month, she will find herself exhausted by work, and not in the mood to prepare supper. In these situations, she usually turn to Foosackly's on Schillingers Rd. I never object to this because we have never had a bad Foo Salad made at this location. The chicken tenders have always been fried to perfection and the salad has always been fresh and crisp. Their vinaigrette, our preferred dressing, is always fresh and tasty. We seldom dine inside the restaurant, choosing instead to order through the drive through, which is always busy, but only takes a short time from order to pick up. It is obvious that management and staff at this location have everything working in fine order.

So glad we moved across the street! Perfectly seasoned and perfectly crispy fried chicken tenders. Fries were old time crinkle cut. Homemade Guthrie's sauce and homemade ranch were both perfect accoutrement for the juicy tenders. So glad we found the best opportunity to support local business in Fairhope.
