But that's not what you'll get with Randy. Randy is a stand up guy and drove 30 miles to get my Honda Civic from Howell to its Swartz Creek destination for WAY WAY less. He asked what was going on with my car, offered to jump it, got to me right when he said he would, and was an all around pleasant guy to chat with. Very professional, reasonably priced, and an all around great person to call when your car needs a lift. Don't be like me and have your insurance try to rob you out of pocket. I didn't even know they contacted such a great service before sending my request to some other towing company that would have bled my wallet dry. I'm lucky that Randy gave me a call or I would still be waiting days for a tow. Carl, the owner and primary mechanic was pleasant and knowledgeable, and answered all my questions without making me feel like he was rushed. I appreciate that. He even pointed out a couple of items that needed attention at my next visit, but I never felt he was trying to pad the bill and do unneeded repairs. Yesterday, Carl installed new tires and changed the brake fluid. Again, everything was done professionally, ahead of time, and as promised. We went with this brand because we were told it had a lifetime guarantee. The latch wore out and the cover would not stay down. I brought the truck in and asked if we could get it fixed under warranty. Photos were taken and we were told they would file a warranty replacement. Brad told me he would call me. A week goes by with no call. I was told that they were waiting on parts. Two weeks go by. I call. Same story. Three weeks go by. I stop in. I explain I need this replaced so I can move my son home from college. He says he will follow up with the company and call me back. Did I get a call back? No. I called a few days later. A woman answered the call and said she would have Brad call back. Did he call back? No. A month and half goes by. Brad tells me he followed up and they are shipping the items. They will be here Wednesday the following week. I call the following Friday. He states that he doesn't have the parts. He would check. He would call back. Does he call me back? No. At this point it has been over a month and a half. I call Truxedo and ask if Brad from Diversified Creations made a warranty request. Truxedo tells me that there is no warranty request. She calls him and he says he is 'working with his supplier' for the warranty request and Truxedo told Brad they will work with me directly instead. Truxedo tells me that you don't go through suppliers for a warranty replacement - that's isn't how warranty replacements work. Obviously, nobody submitted the warranty replacement. Brad repeatedly told me he would get me the parts and they were on order but never even made the warranty request with Truxedo. Truxedo verified this. If you are too busy, or don't want to bother with the warranty replacement, just tell me so I don't waste my time. Don't give me the run around for almost two months and then make me find out through Truxedo that you never sent in a warranty replacement with them for my issue, even though you told me you did and the parts were coming in. You never bothered to call me back any of the times I called. I do not recommend working with this business.

To their credit, the dealership did attempt multiple repairs and eventually provided a rental during one of the visits, but the process became extremely frustrating. Since purchasing the vehicle, I've had to make repeated trips back to the service department for the same unresolved issues. The Explorer sat for hours during one appointment without being looked at, I went several visits without any loaner assistance, and communication between departments often seemed disconnected. On top of the original leak issue, a leaking rear shock, rear main seal leak, oil plug leak, and a metal-on-metal noise were later discovered. Some staff members, including Lance and Shaun, were helpful and professional when addressing concerns, but overall the experience has been disappointing considering how soon these problems started after purchase. As of my latest visit, the metal hitting noise is still present despite multiple attempted fixes. I understand used vehicles can have issues, but I expected better inspection, communication, and follow-through from a large dealership.
