The team is so professional and they care a lot about their patients needs and feelings. I am so grateful for all of there help getting me so much better. When I first started I was a mess. My pain level was a 10+. The physical therapist worked with me. Then I was able to do my exercises on my own without being told what to do. I had then knew what exercises to do. I was so happy that I have improved. I like to thank Nicole, Brian, Matt & Heather for there kindness and toughness. Heather always greeted me with her lovely smile and professionalism. i have been a patient at this pt office twice, and the very first time i did not post a review so i thought it was time to do so. i have been working in the service industry for almost 28 years, and i still find it pretty special when people attend to my needs in a extremely professional and caring way.First injury was a calves tear, Matt was my pt and i felt comfortable with him immediately , he told me what the injury was,what to expect , and assigned a program to get me back playing tennis asap. In a couple of weeks i was on my way, what a great experience , everyone knows your name , everyone is interested in how you are progressing, and most importantly working in the hotel business, and having a very conflicting schedule my appointments were never an issue.Second injury sciatic nerve issue, this time my pt was Brett and yes i have to say i was a little disappointed not to have Matt ( the owner). I WAS WRONG,Brett was just as good, detailed , always there, listening to my sciatica up and down cries . In 2007 I was about to have rotator cuff surgery so I went looking for a physical therapist within a15 mile radius of Garrison NY to rehab after my surgery in NYC. I have been attending Physical Therapy sessions at Harrison Physical Therapy for several months, beginning long before the onset of the current pandemic. As I continue my visits I have observed changes in the office practices designed to address patient concerns associated with the pandemic. In addition to the concerns of the patient these changes also focus on recommendations of Infectious disease specialists to minimize the potential for disease transmission. Masks and gloves are provided to patients, staff wear masks, and hand sanitizer is easily available. Implementation of these changes along with others have been successfully incorporated it to the routine and in no way do they impact the high standard of care provided by these professionals. I have used Harrison PT 3 times, once for an arm injury, and just recently for two total knee replacements. I received excellent treatment all three times. Matt is an outstanding Physical Therapist, as are the other therapists in the office; Jared, Brett, and Nicole. The entire staff (including Brian, Alex, Liam, and Heather) are all highly professional and do an excellent job in helping you with your PT, and making you feel comfortable. I completed Physical Therapy at Harrison PT for Hip replacement surgery approximately two years ago. Recently, I had Rotator Cuff surgery and once again needed PT. Without hesitation I contacted Harrison PT to make an appointment with Bret who was the Therapist I saw for my hip surgery. Upon your first visit, the Therapist evaluates you, and then plans a strategy for your therapy/exercise program. They are always concerned about your aches and pains at each session and take the time to speak and work with you. Bret, Brian, April, and the other Therapists I observed working with other patients, as well as support staff are all very professional and caring individuals. I went to Harrison Physical Therapy after an extremely painful rotator cuff surgery. I was frightened by the whole prospect of therapy, but it was a wonderful experience. Everyone working there was extremely friendly and supportive. My fears were immediately gone after meeting with Brett. He was so calm, patient and experienced that I knew I was in very good hands. Four and a half months later I am just about back to my old self, with the understanding to call or stop back in if there are any questions or doubt about my continuing exercising at home. I was so lucky to find Matt at Harrison Physical Therapy. I had a pinched nerve in my neck for the first time in my life. It was so bad I could not get out of bed, or do anything. My shoulder blade hurt and my arm and fingers were numb and tingling. After taking medicine, which helped a bit my Dr., sent me to PT. After examining me, Matt immediately set up a plan and started me on my way to feeling better. Everyone was so nice and there was never a problem to get an appointment. I have used Harrisons twice once following knee surgery and recently after a nagging hip condition that lasted from August 2016 to early 2017, both times I was treated by Jared who was not only knowledgeable but friendly as was the rest of the staff I interacted with Liam, Brian, Alex and Heather. I just finished a month of therapy and am now back on the ball field practicing for the up coming senior softball season so far I`m pain free with no motion problems. Following total knee replacement, I choose Harrison for my physical therapy.I couldn't have been happier! It is great to have such a professional, highly attentive staff that works with you throughout your therapy. Your therapist works with you individually, however all staff are monitoring your exercises so you always feel you have someone to reach out to if needed. Even through the Covid 19 pandemic, the staff makes sure gloves and masks are used by all. The staff constantly ensures the areas used by patients are cleaned. I used Harrison Physical Therapy following rotator cuff surgery where the damage was worse than anticipated. When I started therapy less than 2 weeks post-op I never thought I would have the full use of my arm again.
