The forklift broke down 3 days into using it, but that is not the reason for my dissatisfaction. I tried to call the day it broke down, but I'm sure they were closed since it was after 5 PM on a Friday so no one answered. We attempted to use a different forklift of ours, but that one broke down too. When we called to either have someone from their team bring us another forklift or repair the broken one, Steve was extremely unprofessional. He first began by accusing us of lying by asking why we didn't report it as soon as it broke down. Then, he becomes adamant that it wasn't running correctly because it was out of propane, which wasn't the case. Then, he starts to threaten me on what it's going to cost to get someone to come and assess needed repairs. The whole time he was being very accusatory, unprofessional, and rude. Eventually, I told him to just arrange for someone to come pick up the forklift. If he's a "manager" for this company (as he stated), they are in very bad shape. I am going to STRONGLY recommend people to never rent anything from this business and will personally NEVER rent anything from them again.

I Absolutely love their selection of flowers and plants. Their quality and quantity of flowers to pick from here is unmatched! It's the Disneyland of gardening. Green thumb is comparable to any home garden store meaning they have an indoor area with different gadgets and outdoor repair and gardening items. Outside they have a massive flowers, trees, and plants area. They also have plenty of pots and statues. This spot is massive and I always wander around finding that the time flies right by because there is so much to see. I know some people make comments about it being pricey and it's hard for me to assess that as I only garden or do big outdoor projects 1-2 times a year. For that reason I am not well versed on pricing and honestly all hobby's like gardening are expensive to me lmao. Jokes aside I do think you get what you pay for. They have a variety of plants here that I can't find anywhere else, especially not at big brand stores. It's worth a visit or a couple of dollars more to get exactly what you want. Staff here have always been nice and helpful. A gentlemen named Chris (I believe) helped me out at my last visit and was really nice. I've always had a good shopping experience here and will continue to support them. Thank you green thumb for providing me with my favorite roses and plumerias over the years. 5/5 hands down.

The city of Santa Paula is beyond lucky to have a hardware store!…read more I think the outside of the store is misleading as it may seem a very small store. But, it's actually quite large inside! I come in here often; have had keys made, bought some yard signs and locks that were needed. And, huge huge shout out to one of their employees a few months ago. Wish I had gotten his name! I came in as my keyfob remote had crapped out. There was a young man who went over and above to try to help me figure out the issue! He came outside to my car with me, had some technical electrical thing that he used to try to help determine if my car was "reading" the fob or not. We even checked a new battery just in case. Come to find out, it didn't need a new battery: my keyfob no longer works in my 15 year old car. :( But big thanks to the employee who helped me *finally determine it was not a battery issue. Staff is pretty good which is so nice to experience. Of course, during the covid, they all have masks on. I didn't notice if they offered sanitizer at the front door, but they do have a "one way door IN and another door OUT", which is per usual at most businesses now it seems. I just recently found out that they carry Ginger Chews. Who would have known!? I would recommend this Ace Hardware and I know that Santa Paula could sure use the support, too.

Stopped at Lowe's but was sent here as what I needed would take over a week to get delivered. At Ferguson ... staff isn't the friendliest . Many walked past me without even asking if I needed assistance as I walked up and down the valve aisle like a dummy. Anyway I couldn't find what I needed and was helped by one of the workers once I walked up to the register. Not sure I'd stop by again. 3.5/ 4 because it's a plumbing store .. not supposed to be the cheeriest of places but I do expect a certain level of customer service.
