I saw firepits for 19.99! If I didn't habe one I would have gotten one. I love the variety of items here! My issue came when I checked out. The machine kept malfunctioning. The sole cashier had to keep coming over. I decided to go to her lane. She suspended my transaction and bought it over but didnt tell me. After her final sigh, I stood up for myself and said "I'm causing all of these frustrations for you, maybe I should not have come and spend money here today!" I have really taken to doing a large percentage of my weekly shop at Aldi. It's way less expensive…read morethan Harris Teeter, they have a great selection of meats and dairy, and it's way less expensive than Harris Teeter. I may have said that twice because it's really true. No, Aldi doesn't have everything but what they do have makes up the core of my shop. Probably 80% of what is on my grocery list in in stock at Aldi and I'm thinking that the price at the register is maybe 60% of what I do at HT. It's a real deal. Aldi keeps their prices down by not having a wide variety of items, usually just one brand. They do not bag your groceries, that's on you. They do not give away their grocery bags, so either buy them or bring your own reusable bags. And always remember to bring a quarter to borrow a shopping cart which you get back. I was surprised to see that Aldi now has self checkouts, which I had to use because they did not have cashiers at all. I was hoping to look at their non food options as sometimes I've found really good finds from laundry products to outside gardeing things. Unfortunately, they did not have a good selection of those things. This aldi did consist mainly of just grocery items. No big deal, now i know.
