The one at SouthPark is about the same size but more of a challenge to get in/out of since it's in the midst of the SouthPark traffic. I was tasked with the purchase of the Christmas Turkey. My mission: to find a fresh NOT frozen whole turkey, about 12 pounds, won't expire before 12/25, organic and NOT a Butterball brand. A challenging mission you might say but I felt like I was up to it. The Thanksgiving birds where purchased at the Peach Stand in Fort Mill. We got two of them and they were exceptional, two birds easily fed 30 hungry people. Sadly, they had only the frozen ones that were left over from Thanksgiving. After several google searches and calling around, I ended up here. There must have been about a 1/2 dozens birds that all fit the bill though most of them were more in the 13 to 15 pound range. Size matters here because it's going in a deep fry cooker over propane with limited capacity. I took some photos and reviewed it with the Chef and got a 'thumbs up AND a 'smiley face' emoji. I looked in the regular section and while I was looking, Noelle introduced herself and asked if she could help me find anything. I asked if they had the gluten free cake and she went to the back and brought me some options that they had. She was so kind and thoughtful to take the time to look for me even though they were close to closing. Customer service like this is why I choose to come to Whole Foods rather than a different store, even though the prices are kinda steep. Thank you Noelle!!! So, one day when I was out dress shopping, I took my maid of honor with me to Publix. I met with Mary, the Aprons Event Planner and she was soooo nice & so helpful! She took me to meet with their flower arrangements artist Barbara and she was fantastic! She has an excellent eye & is very creative. She gave me some great suggestions for decorating for my outdoor wedding!! In fact, both Mary & Barbara gave me great advice and lots of ideas! So, I decided to use their floral department for all of my arrangements and I was not disappointed!!! They did an outstanding job on everything from my bouquet to the maid of honors flowers to the arrangements on the tables & the ceremony flowers & boutineer for the groom and best man and celebrant. I decided to go with a restaurant to cater the dinner, but I used Publix to cater the hors d'oeuvres and they did a phenomenal job!! They were on pointe with everything and delivered plus had a great price point! I was very pleased with all that they did! Publix, you turned a truly devoted Harris Teeter fan into a truly devoted Publix fan!

I did take pictures of the homemade jalapeño focaccia bread, and it is phenomenal! This is also the only local grocery store where I could find organic sourdough bread and they have different flavors! If you're in Ballantyne, give them a shot. It is absolutely worth it in my experience and opinion. Oh, and I edited this to add that you could find some really great sweet treats! They have chocolate from Dubai and I love their organic dark chocolate with a hint of salt. There are tons of gluten-free options from pasta to bread and crackers. You name it. They also have a couple of aisles of health items and really great dog treats as well.
