Updating and upgrading as this Harris Teeter has been remodeled in the last couple of years. Where it had been a bit run down and dingy before, it's now clean and bright. They've managed to make it a lot more modern "Teeter" and that's pretty awesome. There is a huge wine and beer area, the produce section is top notch and we had no problem finding the dozen or so things we needed this evening. Checking out was easy with plenty of open registers and the self-checkout working. HT is definitely more expensive than our usual shop at ALDI but this is definitely higher quality and their "generic" brand is excellent. I live 1 mile and keep trying to go to this location. The customer service is so poor each and every time . No one can even look up to help and if you find someone the answer "if we have it's probably on 5" I had a basket full and just needed sunscreen which I never found on isle 5. I will drive out of my way as to not give this store any of my business . read more

My fiancé and I utilized the self check out service at this Harris Teeter and we're made extremely uncomfortable by the employees. There seemed to be no other customers in the store so when we went to self checkout all four cashiers hanging out around the area turned around and stared us down the entire time. They did not smile or say hello. It was extremely uncomfortable and made us feel like they thought we were doing something wrong. They continued to stare the entire time with each scan we did until another customer came up to their register to check out. I understand having one attendant there to supervise self checkout and make sure everything is good but having all of the employees up at the front do this and turn around to stare at us in unison made us feel like we were doing something wrong. Overall, I will never come back to this store. It was also extremely off because no one was grocery shopping there on a Sunday at 11AM but it's probably because they have an extremely small store, limited supply, and very unfriendly employees. read more

I come to this Harris Teeter quite often. Good for quick pickups and other items. They do have quite a few useful items, however, you won't find everything you're looking for that you may find at other much larger stores. Parking is not a problem. Located in a good sized shopping center with other restaurants and smaller retail stores. When you need help, the staff is around to assist. For a quick pickup and pretty good shopping needs, it will defiantly get the job done. read more

I love this little HT's! It might be smaller but it's stocked and a great location! .. I was just in there shopping . upon checkout there was an associate working her behind off (I was having an issues using the self checkout) and another standing at a register that did NOTHING but scroll through her phone .. she didn't even look up the entire time .. I recently started going to this Harris Teeter location due to the fact it is a "smaller" location and seems to be less busy than its larger counterparts. Parking is super easy as the store shares a large lot (never full) with the neighboring restaurants and business offices. You walk in and there's an employee wiping down carts and there is a disinfectant wipe dispenser at both entrance and exits that I use to hang onto the carts while inside the store. I'm pretty careful about not touching anything I don't need to and the store is small enough were you can easily map out your grocery list and get everything in one pass. Less time in the store is better (at least that's what I tell myself). I've only been going out for common staples, so if you are looking for something pretty specific, I would try your luck at a larger store, but for the past couple of weeks I've been able to check off all of my list (minus toilet paper). When you check out there are stickers on the floor to help with social distancing and the staff is always super nice. The great thing about not being that busy, is that you aren't going to be in line for that long. Plus the store is not really configured to have lines due to the smaller set up. I know the shopping experience can be rather terrifying. But the staff being nice and all wearing masks (most of the shoppers were wearing masks as well). In and out in less that 20 minutes makes me relieved every time. read more

I call this location the "baby Teeter" because "Big Teeter" is right down the street at the Park Road Shopping Center location. I come here about once every two weeks I'd say, like today when I'm starving and need a rotisserie chicken ASAP! Baby Teeter is a great option if you want to be in and out in quickly, whenever I run out of milk I just head here. They don't have the largest selection of items so if you are looking for a specific cheese or something don't come here but for the basics - you should be covered! There's plenty of parking, I frequently get a VIP spot up front and I think it's a good grocery store to come to if you have to run other errands since they have an alterations place in the shopping center and Mugs if you need a coffee! For Covid conscious shoppers too I think this is a a preferable choice to the big Teeter because the big Teeter has a bar - which means every day people congregate maskless to drink there and no offense but it's a little off putting. read more

I don't shop at any other grocery chain other than Harris Teeter. Why? I prefer to shop in a clean environment when I'm buying food products. And some friendly service is always a plus, too. Harris Teeter offers all that. This particular Harris Teeter is small compared to other stores at which I shop, but it has the basics (just not as many varieties of items as bigger stores). Quite a variety for a small store and the staff are friendly and very helpful. But unfortunately I have found the produce to be often wilted or withered. Since I have seen this same disappointment at the other Park Road HT, it could be a warehouse/delivery problem. And - perhaps I happen to be there just before the fruits and vegetables are updated. read more

This isn't my go-to HT but I do stop by every now and then when I'm in the area. It seems like on the smaller side of a HT but I don't mind. I had been here previously from time to time and it is a smaller Harris teeter with limited selection. But they seem to have everything I needed and seem to be far less busy than the new Sedgefield/south Blvd location. So I may have found my temporary shopping location for the next 6 - 12 months. read more

I appreciate convenience...and this Harris Teeter store provides convenient shopping for me every time I stop in. Whenever I've been there has never been a line at the checkout counter. Did they clear the store just for me? But then again, I tend to go after a late night at work and just before they close. Besides the obvious, fully stocked produce and products, they have a redbox (I guess most, if not all, Teeters do). This is without a doubt the nicest Harris Teeter I've ever been in. The produce section is pretty large and the wine selection is huge. There's always plenty of cashier lanes open to keep the lines down and even when there is a line I don't mind waiting because I was able to find what I was looking for and more. read more

I love this Teeter! Not as overwhelming as the Taj M'Teeter. I generally find a good parking place and they generally have all otheir lanes open with a bagger in each lane. I appreciate all of those things! If you shop VIC specials, the Teeter is a good value. You will shoot your wad if you run in here unprepared, without a list in hand! The management at this store is incredibly gracious. I brought home some HT Organic Milk that was spoiled. I returned it and they refunded my money and gave me the name brand equivalent. My kids love all the samples they have out in the store. Bonus! read more

Smaller version of the real HT! This place had such limited options for products (sizes, varieties) that it's very frustrating. I went in in night for cookie dough and all they has was the pre portion variety and not the roll of dough more common. All the sections were smaller (deli, bakery) it was a joke! Also I wanted only a small can of pineapples for using the juice in a recipe and all they had was the huge size (which I didn't need ). I found the perfect hot meal on my way home from work today. Imagine a very dark, cold night when I've had the sniffles all day. $4.99 for a cup of steaming hot chicken tortilla soup,some of their special Southpark Chicken Salad....and a nice bottle of vino (always on sale) and I am one happy camper! This place is always great for a good hot meal on the go! It can be a little pricey but well worth it when you have no desire or energy to cook! Enjoy. read more

A little frustrating because they just don't have the selection that the "Taj-ma-Teeter" does.....but if you need milk, bread or eggs then this place is just fine. Hours are less flexible at this harris teeter, but i love how convenient this location is. It is truly an express harris teeter. It is never too crowded, very friendly and attentive staff. Has redbox machines at the entrance of the store. Deli section and daily samples. This is definitely not as well stocked as the morrison harris teeter but for it's size, i think this is a great place! It's in a good location and the shopping center it's in has other restaurants so you can do grocery shop after you grab a quick bite or get your alterations done and buy groceries! read more

This small Harris Teeter is right across from my apartment and a great asset in the neighborhood. Makes it super easy to get something when you are in the middle of cooking and realize you are out of eggs or a spice. Yes, Harris Teeter is more than WalMart or Food Lion. Yes, this store is smaller than most (however, there is a full-size HT just up the road at Park Road Shopping Center). However, the produce and meat are fresh, the service is good, and the location is amazing. Definitely five stars in my book! read more

Fine if you need staples but this is a very tiny grocery store and has much less selection than the Publix on South or Whole Foods on Fairview and Sharon. I shop here whenever I need to pick up one or two classic items but if I ever need anything special, I go elsewhere. For instance, they have two brands of granola. Target probably has 10. Not a big problem if they carried my brand, but when I'd rather grocery shop at Target you know you are missing the mark. read more

Just relocated from PA and expected groceries to be a little cheaper. I like the store but some things cost $2.00 more than when I shopped in NJ, NY and PA. Not a fan of paying more for groceries here than I did at Wegmans or Whole Foods. I guess we're paying extra for the fact that we don't have to unload our carts or bag. I walked in, and there was 1 cashier for the ENTIRE store. No self check out lane. I literally walked out after seeing that. There was a huge line at this 1 open cashier lane. This is a FULL grocery store not a walgreens, There's no excuses for this- horrible management probably had everyone doing miniscule activities instead of putting people at the registers. No self checkout is inexcusable as well in the year 2016. This place seems to have significantly less stuff than any other grocery store.
