My then-7 y/o son was able to climb 8 feet up a structure for its intended use and jump off "on a dare" by other kids and ended up in the ER. I've also assisted with autistic children that elope and get separated due to the multiple exits. There are also multiple places to have a party, first come first served. This also makes things extra crowded. I haven't been there in a while since the heat, but I am hoping they will maintain a good-sized field because independent play (soccer, football, kite flying, etc.) are just as important as playground structures.

There are outhouses by the parking lot and a bare-bones, one-stall bathroom near the tennis courts. I am thankful for all parks with trails - what a great way to get out and get exercise - but I think there are better trails in the area.

They've got volleyball courts, tennis courts, playgrounds, fields, and bathrooms. All of Euless parks are connected by the trail and the city has done a phenomenal job.

We love that there are two play fixtures, one little and one big which is good for our two kiddos (ages 3 and 1). There is a great big bike path and gardening area right next to it that also belongs to the church, which church and community members are often at. This always makes me feel safe and comfortable, because its never quiet! The play area is also fenced in, so kiddos can't escape when you've turned your head. (Other play areas need to take a hint!) The only problem is that the wood chips need replacing, so the slides drop off pretty darn far to the ground. Other than that, we can't complain!

It looks like "Sparkling Ice" in some way sponsored this project, but in the end I think the money could have probably be better spent. The idea is cute: a park with musical instruments that are fun for kids to play but don't offend the parent's ear. Bicentennial Park in Southlake previously did a great job with this. The instruments at both parks have a nice sound - low chimes and soft drums that are actually quite soothing to listen to. The difference between Bicentennial Park and the Musical Pocket Playground is that Bicentennial Park has a traditional park surrounding the music area with slides, swings, etc. The musical instruments are fun and the kids do love them, but it can only hold their attention for so long. There needs to be something else available for play if the park is going to be a repeat destination for young families. What the Musical Pocket Playground does have in close proximity is the library, but with no walkway connecting the library to the music playground, people may not think to stop by when they are picking up their books. If you live in the area, it's worth stopping by to take a look, but I wouldn't plan on spending more than 15 minutes and I certainly wouldn't drive from another city.

Andy Brown is a beautiful space, from the pond to the open fields, the sidewalk/bike path, multiple large pavilions, and fun playground. There are large, mature trees surrounding the park. We parked in the wrong lot and had to walk alongside the gym in order to get to the playground and I couldn't believe how beautiful the pathways were with all the trees and the small creek running alongside. Not what I expected from a city park! The playground itself ("Kid Country") is almost fully enclosed and is a sprawling assortment of things to climb up, swing on, and slide down. There is a play area in the toddler section with storefronts to spark pretend play. The ground is bark. There are large trees in the center of the play area that provide shade and make the play structure look more natural than your typical playground. Almost like a tree house. There are benches scattered throughout the play area and a large covered pavilion with multiple picnic tables underneath. The city of Coppell provides free WiFi there and there were multiple moms with laptops out, working, while their kids played. The only big negative is the distance from the playground to the bathroom. I understand that they probably built the bathrooms more toward the center of the park, but the wise choice would have been to also put an additional small restroom right next to the playground. It's too far of a walk for me to feel comfortable sending my younger kids over there alone and it's kind of a bummer to have to wrangle together the entire group every time one kid has to pee. Otherwise, a fabulous park. LOVE IT. Hats off to you, Coppell!

Important : Splash pad opens May and closes in September…read more This place is so awesome!! We have a 2 year old and a 4 year old and they absolutely loved it. The park has water features (splash pad) and a playground for the kids to play. There are multiples chairs that are bolted to the ground, picnic tables, a pavilion, and plenty of parking. There is a nice public restroom and a nice field where kids can play catch or run around. We came around 6pm on a Friday and it wasn't too crowded. Can't wait to get back here before the summer ends!!
