If I could give 0 stars I would. I have gone to this dealership on 2 separate occasions, once for a recall on my mom's truck, and the second with my finance to find new (used) truck. All I can say is I had TERRIBLE experiences both times. When I went for service, they messed up my power running boards, and the service advisor was extremely rude. Then, when I was there recently, I worked with a sales person named Carlos. And I DO NOT recommend working with him. My finance and I were trying to explain what we were looking for, and all he would do was talk over me, and disregard everything I said. He only listened to my finances opinion. He was very snappy when it came to me, and it was a very unpleasant experience. Then it was a nightmare of a time trying to get the truck after we signed everything. Took over a week, with little to no communication, and no one was on the same page at all when it came to the status of the truck. I will not be coming to this dealership again. And I do not recommend it to others. read more

Customer service is not what I expected. I work in customer service and this place I'd give less that 1. Always answering machine when calling to talk to live person. Takes forever for a call back and sometimes no call back. I had my jeep in there for an overheat after only having it for 5 months, purchased there mind you, and didn't get looked at for 2 weeks then had to get 3rd party insurance to come in to confirm the issues. Then after it was repaired, note stating orher issues need to be taken care of, yet were never told about it. No one called us, we had to continue to call them before they'd call back. Had to call warranty insurance myself to find out when vehicle would be worked on. That's the 1st jeep. The 2nd one again only owned for 5 months seat mount went. Went in for scheduled appt. Wasted a vacation day to find out parts had to be ordered. When they were ready, they didn't order an additional part, waited again for another couple of days. When you have to do the service legwork yourself it's not right. I feel like they sold me 2 lemons. $50,000 cash was spent in a day for 2 jeeps and within 5 months both in the shop for repairs. Unsatisfied! read more

My experience related to service, not sales. I had previously taken my Jeep to a different dealership as that is where I purchased the vehicle, but decided to try Harr as it is significantly closer to me. I did call ahead to setup an appointment, although next day appointments were readily available, I did choose later in the week as I required a loaner to be arranged. When I arrived, Brian the service advisor was able to assist me promptly and get my vehicle checked in for TSB repair and oil change. He setup the rental vehicle, kept me informed during the repair process, and was able to get my vehicle returned to me, fixed, the next day. The service technicians did a great job on the actual repair as well, as I was able to instantly notice the improved steering on the highway. Brian was able make this stressful situation resolved in a timely and professional manner. read more

let me tell the whole story so that anyone who reads this can know how poor of quality this dealership is early Sept purchased a car out of pocket for 5k -recent college grad and have too many loans and did not wish to have another financed loan in my name. I wanted something reliable. The car that I went in to see had to be jumped to even be driven to me (being sold as is). Then looked at the Toyota Scion 2007. A little old, but should last me a little bit right? I would have been better off buying a cheap car off of FB marketplace. They sold the car "as is," I was later told by people who know more about cars, that you can't really do that in MA, and it's especially shady that a dealer is. Driving off the lot: a rejection sticker. contacted my salesman asking why and if I need to come back. He said I needed a new sticker in a year. Told him it has a REJECTION. the mechanic explained that it failed emission because they had to do mechanical work and reset it so that I should come back after 100 miles noticed that every time I slowed down the break light on my dashboard would turn on. I live an hour away from Harr and commute 40 mins every day, so I had my breaks checked at a local Midas who told me there was no break fluid, presumably from when they changed break pads. Had to do a total break flush then the check engine light went on (I've had car for less than a month). The car felt tough to drive and when I looked under the hood no oil, it didn't touch the dipstick. Also noticed a cute little clamp holding something together near the engine. Go to my appt. w Harr I am whisked into an office where I am told that there is probably something wrong with the head gasket rings (I forget the term), and it happens with these models, and the past owners neglected to fix it. Then he drew a diagram of how an engine worked. Told me could keep filling my car with oil for the rest of time I drove it, sell it to some person, spend 3grand fixing it, or sell it back to them. They were going to buy back the car for the price that I bought then They had TRIED to say that they could only buy the vehicle back for $500 because they needed to do the appropriate repairs if they were buying it back. we compromised at the 4K + convinced me to buy a warranty Key-like scratch on side, but a nice car. 90 warranty and lucky bc two weeks ago, the check engine light for THIS car came on. A little under the 60 day mark. under my hood when I got to work and I had almost NO coolant in my car. checked the week before when my stepdad said he smelled burning and the level was fine. I made an appt with Harr and Patrick called me /explained that there was a coolant leak, and a code being run for the Turbo. It was a Chevy so they couldn't touch it and directed me to a GM dealer. They sent me on my way and also didn't fix the coolant leak. I went to a GM dealers and they warned me warranty might not cover cost of repairs if it was aftermarket. Call Harr for info and saw that Harr had never submitted my warranty app that I paid $2,500 from so the company couldn't tell me anything. Went to GM They called me/told me they couldn't find anything wrong with the turbo told me to come back if it came back. 15th of Dec, light is back. hard time making it over 60mph on the highway without my rpms going past 4. The GM dealership replaced the turbo ($1k, covered by manu) on Dec 27th. On return, noticed a sweet smell. didn't know what that meant at the time. I tried calling Harr and never received a response. Jan 6th, spoke with Shay and told him that I was still continuing to lose coolant. waiting for C results after an exposure, so we planned on making a future appt note: he also makes a joke that I'm not having very good luck despite the fact that both of these cars were bought from them? The next day the car the coolant level was lower. Called Harr to get a rental and drop my car off, as it felt unsafe to drive. Speak to a service member who tells me there are no rental cars and when I ask for other options of how they were going to help me, she says "one moment I'm going to speak to someone else" and wordlessly transfers me to Shays line that goes directly to voicemail. No call until Tue, the 15th. Drop my car off the next day and they put me in rental. fix a few hoses. tell me there is a leak near the turbo that they're going to try to fix. car back on Friday the 15th. drove home, the sweet smell still there. I checked my levels after work on Mon the 25th and then the next night. With 40 mins of driving, I lost A TON of coolant (pics). I was also leaving HUGE puddles and smoking on the front end. Emailed Shay, who got in touch with my right away. Offered to put me in a new rental or recommend I try a GM again. Called GM that replaced the turbo and they got me in that day (Jan 19). Today (20th), they gave me a call saying it would be $555 to replace a part (not related to the turbo replacement so not under manufacturer warranty). read more

The cost of a "free estimate" at Harr Jeep appears to currently be $84.98. They list free estimates as one of the many dealer amenities in the service section of their website. Decided to schedule an appointment to get some brake work quoted. My wife brought our vehicle in and they proceeded to inspect it and come back with a quote that is more than we had anticipated for a vehicle with 30,000 miles on it. She thanked them for taking the time to look over our Vehicle and said we let them know if we decide to move forward with their quote. At this point in time they said ok that will be $84.98 please. Honestly, the most expensive free quote I have ever come across. I guess they figure when you see their actual quote $84.98 will probably feel like nothing in comparison, and nothing is like free. If you'd like to deal with a company which has no problem using deceptive business practices, Harr is the place for you. If you're looking for a company will stand behind their claims I suggest you look elsewhere. Don't go trying to inquire as to the exorbitant cost of their free estimate as their phones can only make outbound calls when they think you will be purchasing something from them. Perhaps a complaint to the Massachusetts Attorney General's office might possibly help get their outbound calling rectified. read more

I was looking to trade in my vehicle for a new jeep however what I didn't know one of the staff members has a social media channel channel attached to the business. I wasn't impressed with the trade in price of my vehicle & the price of the jeep & decided to look else where. I was polite & left. A week later I was told by some friends that the female staff member, Liz had shamed me publicly for deciding to look else where and specifically not buying a Jeep from HER. That's an individual's / customer's right to take their business elsewhere. The dealership should be ashamed by the staff wearing their Harr uniforms, name tags, sitting behind their desk at the dealership & shaming customers that come through their door just to entertain their social media followers at the customer's expense. It's childish, selfish and immature. Go to another Jeep dealership. Herb Chambers staff is very professional and you won't end up with 16k followers/harassing fans if you need to negotiate with this salesperson. Herb's staff were delightful, professional & were able to close the deal much closer to my expectations. The new hashtag for the Harr dealership should be #dontaskforHarr Car sales staff already have a sleezy reputation but this behavior is beyond super creepy, scary, & harassing! Harr Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram - Car Dealers Near Me - Worcester, Massachusetts

My complaint is with the service department. I first took my car in a couple of weeks ago to get an oil change and due to some concerns with the vehicle . I had 3 problems with the car. The first being that the back handle on the hatch was broken and it continuously popped apart. The next being that my back up camera sensor did not make sound and the third being loud rattle sound coming from my air conditioner. I was given an appointment for 7:30 am on today 10/23. I brought the car in and during check in the service advisor went out to the car. He opened the hatch and snap the handle back in place. He then called me to the car, to tell me that the handle just snapped out of place and he snapped it back. I explained to him, that it will not stay Over the long term. he then pulled on the handle to prove that it was going to stay in place. I told him that it would not. Mr service advisor turned fake Mr Fit It, don't you think I have snapped that handle into place a few time before even bringing it to your attention. He then told me that my car did not have sensor that why they did not sound, he states that they are not visible on the bumper. So I question as to why I was told told to bring the car back to do a diagnostic as to why the sound wasn't working if I did not have that feature. I posed this question to the previous service advisor that had helped me a couple of weeks prior. She stated that when they looked up VIN. the car did not have the feature. My question then became then why did you not look up the VIN when I first brought you the complaint? i received no answer, however you did look up that warranty . I assured them that I had driven that car for 2 years and it did make sound but conceded to accept their answer. Then service advisor turned Fake Mr Fix It states that there was not problem with my a/c and explained that my vent was partially close. I acknowledged knowing this because I was the one that closed it, but of course no diagnostic because the sound could not be duplicated. Now the last time I check, the reason for diagnostic was to try to find the problem, but not at Harr Service, apparently they go by sounds and snapping broken pieces back in place to fix problem. Now comes Mr High and Mighty Service Manager to do nothing. He had me wondering why manager was behind his title. He could not manager anything, so on the attack he goes and asks me "why I am yelling.". I explained the difference between yelling and having stern tone . His reply , "you are yelling". Ok Mr High and Mighty Service Manager turn now expert in behavior and yelling. Then Mr Service Manager asked me what I wanted him to do. Well he should have been able to answer his own question but I told him, hey how about you replace that hatch handle that your service advisor just snapped back into place. How about you perform a real diagnostic on the car. How about you Manage something like your title suggest. How about you just do right by your customer. How about you carry yourself in a way that make your company shine. How about you tell your service advisor to give out accurate information. How about you tell your service adviser that snapping things back into place is not a fix. I could go on and on but it's not my job to help them be the best they can be . If only the service department was gas good as the sales department. This would be a great business. Harr you should thank your sales department everyday because your service department is a real mess. By the way , this is not about money. My car is till under warranty and only has 25,093 miles on it. read more

Unprofessional, inexperienced, fraudulent & deceptive are perfect adjectives to describe this dealership and the two individuals who I dealt with: Adrian Kopacz & Jay Gonzalez. And it's clearly evident by the way the present themselves; Adrian is supposed to be a manager yet he was wearing sneakers at his career. But nonetheless, that was not the issue. The issue was ultimately with them lying to me about a delivery date and then breach of contract. This dealership had the Jeep I wanted and I am from out of state. I called the dealership numerous times before I came in to purchase and was assured they would be able to get the transaction done even though I was from out of state. Rather than trying to learn more about my situation on the phone, they were hell-bent on getting me into their showroom for an appointment. When I got to the dealership, I quickly learned that I would not be able to drive the car home that day due to various out of state registration issues that the sales team did not have the knowledge or experience to deal with. Additionally, I was told that my bank draft check that is just as good, if not better than a certified check, would have to wait to clear before they could deliver me the vehicle. I was told that the car would be delivered later in the week or early next week at the latest, as soon as the check clears. Thursday comes along and the check still has not been cashed by them!! They made no reasonable attempt to deliver the vehicle in the timeframe they said, so I got an attorney involved to demand they deliver my vehicle that I had a signed purchase agreement for. At this time, Harr had my draft check for the new Jeep, deposit monies, and the title/registration to my current car. Talk about a deal gone wrong! After I got my attorney involved, they voided my contract and Adrian gave me the reason "now that you have lawyers involved I can't talk to you" which is not a valid reason for them to terminate the contract. This is now breach of contract on this dealership and I plan on pursuing legal action to hopefully have these individuals removed from the industry entirely. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP & THE UNPROFESSIONAL IMBECILES WHO WORK THERE. read more

What a degrading experience is was to come into that dealership. After 2 hours, I walked out crying. Much hasn't changed much in 20 years. And where was the Internet Sales rep? Unavailable? Oh, that's right, you have teams now....Well teams of uncaring individuals...especially those guys in the back office who review your credit. Didn't even get to talk to anyone in charge. Had to explain my life and credit info to inexperienced young man that took my information and kept running back and forth with papers . Maybe that guy should take his feet off his desk and act professional. I should have know this when I first walked in and was ignored. They even made me walk to the main showroom in the rain to go to the bathroom (theirs wasn't working) without an apology. Well I now feel like a second class citizen - which I am not! I may have bad credit but I am not a bad person. No one cared to see me in a new car, they could care less. Great customer service and experience. I am posting on Yelp! Happy sales! Moved to Worcester a year ago and quickly became a repeat customer with my 2005 RAM 2500 turbo diesel truck. After several communication challenges with service reps, I began working exclusively with Mark, the service manager. Everytime I'd bring my truck in, they would have a list of unrelated things they claimed needed to be fixed. In the beginning, I just went with it and followed their recommendations, but over time, I began to question whether these parts really needed to be replaced. The last straw occurred when I had my truck towed to their shop after it suddenly began running very rough on the highway and had no power to the point it was about to stall. They called me the next day and gave me a list of trouble codes being thrown and quoted me $10,000 for new fuel injectors, common rail, fuel lines, fan clutch, etc, etc, etc. I asked them how much they'd give me on a trade-in, and after waiting 3 days for a reply, they said $2000 (still owed $10k). Being concerned they were rip off artists, I decided to call around and ended up speaking with the owner of Massdiesel Performance in Bellingham. The conversation went so well I had the truck towed to their shop the following day. They called me a couple hours later and asked who told me the truck was throwing all those codes and needed all that work done - because they couldn't find any of those codes in the history nor did they think it needed any injectors. They said they thought the issue was a blown head gasket. They also said they drove the truck around for 20 minutes, and other than a very small water leak, it was running just fine (no water in the oil, no overheating, plenty of power, etc). They also said I could probably get by without having it repaired for a couple more months - just keep an eye on the water and oil. After mulling it over, I decided to trade the truck in, so I picked it up the following day, and guess what - THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME A SINGLE PENNY! I drove the truck like that for another 2 months while I worked with another Dodge dealer to custom order a brand new 2016 RAM 3500 turbo diesel and got $17,000 on my 2005 trade-in. After all of this, I called and spoke with the GM of Harr, who backed all of his cronies and said they did everything right. I finally ended the conversation telling he and Mark that I'd never be back and I'd be sure to leave feedback on the internet about my experience, so here it is . .. The guys at Harr are happy to rip you off if you let them. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! P.S. ~ I went through the trouble of creating a Yelp account just to leave this feedback. I'm not the type of person to post internet reviews, but thought this exceptional experience warranted a few extra minutes out of my life to share with anyone considering doing business with Harr. read more

Funniest part about this is that I own the same exact vehicle one year newer...same miles. ..Bought 5 months ago.....I paid 1395.00 for the warranty for 2 years with better coverage. .... pros. 1. cars are great price. cons. doc fee high. warranty price n.g. warranty company has bad reviews. I located a vehicle online on Tuesday and sent an email to dealer, communicated with their internet person and made appointment to go look at the jeep on Wednesday at 5pm. I arrived on time and met with Richard Asselin, was not initially impressed, wanted to tell me all these great things about the dealer and how they did business and then went on to tell me that the Jeep I was there to look at and buy had been traded to another dealer and they did not have it any longer. He had on his computer screen the emails back and forth with internet sales manager and I had told them specifically the model number of the vehicle I was there to see. I confirmed the visit that afternoon however they felt it best to have me waste three hours of my time to drive there, get my trade appraised and then told me "if you want, we can find you another one like it for only $189 fee"....... When I got a little heated, they said "well, lets take a look at your trade", completely glossing over the fact that they had no vehicle for me. I would strongly encourage you to do your homework, they wasted my time and I probably would have taken them up on the offer if they had disclosed to me prior to the trip that the Jeep was gone. Typcial low level ethics that is ingrained in the new car dealer experience. They wanted to tell me all about their $10k coffee maker but at the end of the day, wasted half my day, a half tank of gas and some nice heartburn from realizing that they are just like all the rest. read more

Front brake lines failed on a Dodge Dart, AAA emergency towed to this "certified" service dealership. Was told there may be a $100 deductible should this fall under vehicle warranty by service rep Kiiara Nichols (realistically the service rep could have checked if the vehicle was under warranty from any device with internet access). 2 days later was told that the vehicle repairs were not under warranty and that the cost of front brake hoses, and new rotors with pads would be about $1600. Absolutely ludicrous amount of money for an otherwise realatively routine job from these scam artists. Contacted AAA to tow my vehicle to a reputable dodge service dealer and they attempted a classic bait and switch where they claimed they would need $135 for the "diagnostic" again $35 over any previously agreed to sum despite declining service due to their miss handling of the entire situation. These people (James : dispatcher) then claimed to be a manager and attempted to hold me unlawfully threatening to call the police over my request of an invoice and threatened to call AAA to commandeer my vehichle back to Harr. Anyone who has ever been to court knows disputes under $250 are settled in small claims court and are civil disputes whereas holding a person unlawfully (kidnapping with the intent to extort) is a felony in the state of Massachusetts. Absolutely abhorrent service and outright criminal activity is taking place at this dealership. Will follow suit with an inquiry to the Massachusetts attorney general office of consumer affairs. Stay away from this place at all costs choose any other dealership for any vehicle related needs. read more

Harr is awesome! I bought a new Jeep Cherokee last night. This morning I had some regrets and wish I had chosen one with more options. I went to return it today and they worked with me to find the exact car that I wanted. They were so helpful and made sure I was happy with my decision. I love my new Jeep and Harr has gained a lifetime customer!!! Thanks again for all your help. read more
